Chapter 604: Elaouthr’s Outburst & Ancient Aura
The moment that thought arose, the Zerg Queen acted without the slightest hesitation.
Her beautiful face turned toward the tentacled Emperor, whose expression mirrored her own shock and had yet to grasp what had happened.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, she opened her mouth wide.
“Shrriiiek!”
A shrill cry erupted from her throat and spread throughout the hall.
For a brief moment, the countless tentacles writhing across the Emperor’s body froze, as though their owner had suddenly fallen unconscious.
Although the tentacled Emperor recovered only a split second later, that brief opening had already been enough.
The Zerg Queen opened her mouth once more, spitting out three bodies drenched in her bodily fluids.
Each of them was larger than she was.
Thick black carapaces covered their giant bodies, while King-level auras spread as soon as they appeared.
They were the Zerg Servants she had given birth to after devouring the Venerable demon and digesting his essence.
The instant they appeared, all three sprang into action under her command.
Each Zerg Servant rushed toward one of the three demons.
Only Elaouthr was not among their targets.
That, however, did not mean he was any safer. If anything, his situation was even more perilous.
The one attacking him was not a mere King-level Zerg Servant, but a Venerable demon.
The Zerg Queen’s Soul Slave had obviously also made his move.
His massive, bear-like body appeared before Elaouthr before slamming his fist downward.
Demonic energy rioted around his arm, locking onto Elaouthr as though determined to reap his life.
Everything that had happened until now had merely been a truce—a way for the Zerg Queen to buy time while preventing the other demons from coming to Elaouthr’s aid.
From the very beginning, her true target had been him.
She intended to eliminate him in a single, decisive strike using her greatest trump card—a Rank 9 Venerable.
Only by eliminating this irregularity would everything return to normal.

The sudden disturbance within the hall was more than enough to attract Liora’s attention.
Instantly, most of her consciousness returned to the outside world, while only a tiny portion remained behind to talk with the remnant soul of the Heavenly Armor Pavilion and regulate the ongoing changes within her Cosmic Sea.
The moment Liora opened her eyes, a gigantic Zerg Servant was already charging toward her.
Her consciousness swept across the battlefield, allowing her to grasp the situation in an instant.
Casually raising one hand, she intercepted the Zerg Servant’s attack. Meanwhile, her eyes narrowed as her gaze locked onto Elaouthr.
Seeing him struggle to move under the opponent’s onslaught, she considered whether to use the Battle Fury Hammer to burst out with more power and thus rescue him.
However, she quickly dismissed the idea.
She shook her head.
“This demon is favored by the Will of the World. There is no way he would die so easily. Most likely, he possesses some hidden trump card.”
“Even if he doesn’t, someone or something should intervene. This place is tailor-made for him. I refuse to believe it was a coincidence.”
This was the perfect opportunity to test the limits of Elaouthr’s fortune.
More importantly, through him, Liora could gain a better understanding of the Will of the World’s plans and what it was trying to do.
With that thought, she deliberately restrained herself.
Displaying only the strength of a slightly above-average King, she calmly battled the Zerg Servant, keeping it occupied while secretly directing most of her attention toward Elaouthr.
Soon, she watched his body crack beneath the Soul Slave’s overpowering strength.
The gap between a King and a Venerable was simply too vast.
The mere fact that Elaouthr had survived the Venerable’s blow was already a testament to his extraordinary power.
Unfortunately, the second and third strikes completely overwhelmed him.
Most of his flesh was blasted away, leaving behind a cracked skeletal frame that barely resembled a living body.
A victorious smile spread across the Zerg Queen’s face.
She knew her plan had succeeded. Once Elaouthr perished, everything would return to normal, allowing her to reclaim the overwhelming advantage she believed she possessed.
Yet barely half a moment later, that smile was wiped off her face.
At the very brink of death, something deep within Elaouthr awakened. His existence resonated with the chamber around him.
A deep demonic aura suddenly erupted from his body.
An ancient, unfathomable pressure spread throughout the hall.
Wherever it passed, everyone was forcibly frozen in place.
The Zerg Servants stopped mid-attack, while the demons fared even worse.
Their bodies trembled violently as an instinct buried deep within their bloodlines urged them to kneel before the awakened being standing before them.
Only the tentacled Emperor managed to resist that impulse.
Looking toward Elaouthr, whose shattered body was rapidly being rewoven beneath streams of blood-red demonic energy, the Emperor’s pupils shrank violently.
“This bloodline… How could it be?”, his voice was filled with disbelief, as though he recognized the source of Elaouthr’s power.
Unfortunately, he had no time to dwell on the matter.
An instant later, a thunderous roar shook the entire trial hall.
A colossal crimson claw tore through the air before crashing into the Venerable demon.
Venerables already possessed terrifying physical bodies. Demons frequently fought solely on their bodies and were thus even stronger.
Yet before Elaouthr’s claw…
A tearing sound echoed.
Then came an explosion. A rain of blood soon followed.
Under everyone’s incredulous gazes, the Venerable demon was ripped apart in a single strike.
Yet killing a single Venerable was clearly far from enough to satisfy the frenzied Elaouthr.
His eyes remained bloodshot. He appeared unable to contain his killing intent.
In such a state, he was unable to make out allies from enemies. Several claws emerged, targeting the demons around him.
At the same time, two more enormous claws tore through the air, one aimed at each of the two Emperors.
Within a moment, the battlefield had grown chaotic.
From the Zerg Queen being surrounded and having to use a sneak attack to target her enemy, she now seemed to have turned into the demons’ ally.
Meanwhile, the ordinary Elaouthr had become everyone’s common enemy.
