Chapter 1303: Blueprints [2]
Chapter 1303: Blueprints [2]
Lily, who had been discussing something with Arianne, turned toward the voice.
Ace and Lia were making their way toward them.
Both appeared somewhat excited, and in Ace’s hand was a rolled-up scroll.
Lily’s eyes lit up.
"Another blueprint?"
Over the past few days, this had become one of the things she looked forward to the most.
"Your Highness." Ace and Lia stopped before her. "We got this during our recent assistance with the low leveled Awakeners in the goblin dungeon," Ace said with a heavy hint of unfamiliarity in some of the words he used.
Lily’s attention briefly shifted from the scroll to the two of them.
She had already become somewhat accustomed to their form of address.
At first, being called Your Highness had made her incredibly uncomfortable.
However, Ace and Lia seemed completely unwilling to address her casually, and more strangely, they made sure no one else dared to do the same either.
After several days of hearing it repeatedly, Lily had gradually stopped reacting every time.
Her attention quickly returned to the object in Ace’s hand.
"Let me see."
Ace respectfully handed over the scroll.
Lily used Detect.
[Magic Arrow Tower Blueprint]
[Grade: Unranked]
[Description: A construction blueprint containing the complete structure and formation design required to establish a Magic Arrow Tower. When used through a Universal Cornerstone, the required materials may be consumed to directly generate the corresponding building within the owner’s territory.]
[Effect: Constructs a Magic Arrow Tower capable of automatically detecting hostile targets within its effective range and launching condensed magical arrows against them.]
[Construction Requirements:]
[Stone × 500]
[Iron × 120]
[Refined Wood × 100]
[Low-Grade Mana Crystals × 100]
[Wind Element Crystals × 20]
[Formation Ink × 10]
[Origin Points × 500]
[Note: This blueprint is reusable. It will not disappear after construction. Additional Magic Arrow Towers may be constructed whenever the required materials and Origin Points are available.]
Lily’s eyes grew brighter after reading the description.
It really was another building blueprint.
"Arianne, look! It’s really another blueprint."
Lily passed the scroll to Arianne.
Arianne accepted it and began examining the information while Lily turned back toward Ace and Lia.
"Thank you. You two did really well."
The simple praise brightened the expressions of both young men.
Together with a certain dark elf and Arianne, Lily knew the current development of her territory would have been much slower, so she was genuinely appreciative.
Aside from Arianne, though, these three weren’t Awakeners; thanks to their original foundation, even suppressed, they were more useful in many ways than a certain Hunter and Maid she had also assigned to her.
With them carrying batches of native Awakeners to level up safely and deter other foreign Awakeners, Lily had a much easier time managing the territory.
Though she didn’t dare start using the Cornerstone for profit yet, her recent growth was still strong.
Much of this, aside from having these three take action, was also because of the now leveled-up Awakeners who could enter more nearby dungeons and farm resources.
This was where the blueprints in Lily’s hand had come from.
Yes, much to Michael’s shock as well, blueprints could also be obtained from dungeons.
It was just that the chance was extremely low, and even clearing a dungeon did not guarantee one.
However, when a blueprint did drop from clearing a dungeon, it was usually more valuable than one obtained without clearing it, albeit at an even lower drop rate.
While the drop rate might have been low, it was nowhere near despairing when hundreds of Awakeners were repeatedly entering the available dungeons.
A single group could clear a repeatable dungeon several times without seeing anything particularly valuable.
Ten groups could experience the same thing.
When hundreds of Awakeners continuously entered different dungeons, the number of attempts quickly accumulated.
Even an extremely low probability became meaningful when repeated enough times.
Thanks to this, the Magic Arrow Tower Blueprint was far from the first blueprint Evergreen Haven had obtained.
During the past few days, Lily had already collected several.
All of them were only Unranked Grade, which was unsurprising considering they came from the Zeroth Layer, but their low Grade did not make them useless.
In fact, for a territory that had only existed for several days, some of the most ordinary blueprints were exactly what Evergreen Haven needed.
The repeatable dungeons had provided most of them.
[Stone Wall Blueprint]
[Wooden Wall Blueprint]
[Wooden House Blueprint]
[Stone House Blueprint]
[Straw House Blueprint]
[Wooden Watchtower Blueprint]
[Basic Storehouse Blueprint]
[Basic Well Blueprint]
None of them sounded particularly impressive, but their effects were great!
[Stone Wall Blueprint]
[Grade: Unranked]
[Description: A basic territorial construction blueprint used to establish reinforced stone walls.]
[Effect: Allows the Universal Cornerstone to construct standardized Stone Wall sections using supplied materials. Constructed walls possess increased durability and minor self-repair while within the territory’s effective range.]
[Additional Effect: Connected sections are treated as a single territorial structure. Damaged sections may be repaired through the Universal Cornerstone by consuming the appropriate materials.]
[Note: Reusable.]
The actual defensive ability of the wall was nothing extraordinary.
Any sufficiently powerful Rank Zero creature could eventually damage it, while a Rank One supernatural would have little difficulty destroying sections if given enough time.
Its true value, however, was construction speed.
Without the blueprint, building a wall around an expanding settlement containing thousands of people would require enormous amounts of labor and time.
Even after gathering the necessary stone, it would need to be transported, shaped, fitted together, and reinforced.
With the blueprint, they only needed to provide the materials and Origin Points.
The Universal Cornerstone handled the rest.
The other blueprints possessed similarly useful effects.
The Wooden Wall was weaker than its stone counterpart but significantly cheaper, making it perfect for temporary defensive lines, resource camps, and newly occupied areas.
The Wooden House and Stone House provided standardized residences that granted minor restorative effects to anyone resting inside them, slightly improving the recovery of stamina, mana, and mental fatigue.
