Chapter 535: Do Not Test Me!

Chapter 535: Do Not Test Me!

Roaar!!

"You bastard! It is time for you to return my Dragon Pearl!"

A humongous snow white dragon is currently hovering above an inhabited island while roaring at the figure below by the beach, who's accompanied by a red scaled dragon.

Compared to that snow white dragon hovering in the skies whose length spans at least over 300 feet, the one standing beside the man couldn't even come close to its size as it only had a length of around 70 feet or the size of an 18 wheeler truck.

The man was around late 20s or early 30s, glared at the figure in the sky and yelled back, "I want to see my kids first! I want to see them or don't even think about getting it back! Do not try to scare me with your size, you yourself should know that it doesn't scare me!"

"You don't deserve to see them after you married that b*tch and left us! Give it back, Hiccup or I swear I'm gonna burn your kingdom to the ground!" the snow white dragon roared, shaking the trees on the island and the surrounding oceans!

Hiccup rolled his eyes and said, "Oh Sonya~, you've been saying that for weeks on end already and you still haven't been able to do it!"

The dragon glared and in a deep voice full of gloom, she said, "Do not push me, Hiccup. You know what I'm capable of, even you won't be able to stop if I ignore all my restraints!"

Listening to her words, the solemn look on Hiccup faltered for a bit.

Indeed, Hiccup knows that even if he and his dragons fight her together, they'd just be able to barely stop Sonya.

'If she really loses all inhibitions, that would pose a huge problem. I don't know if I'd be able to even protect the Kingdom if that happens. Though if we gather all able hands, then we can totally stop here before she can even cause much destruction to the kingdom, but if we do that, a lot of warriors will be lost and we can't afford that since we need all people who can fight.

Those Sea Tribe bastards are already stirring and they wouldn't wait for us to replenish ourselves'

Hiccup had now gotten himself in a predicament since he can't really ignore Sonya's threat at this point as he has this feeling that she now means every word she's saying.

'I also can't really rely on the others since they're now too busy keeping those Sea Tribe heavyweights in check' Hiccup wasn't able to hide the worries on his face and Sonya quickly caught it.

"You can try to stop me Hiccup or you can forced me retreat by joining forces with your Kingdom, but it would be at the cost of tens of thousands of lives"

Hiccups glared at her and yelled, "Aren't you scared that the world would condemn you and be made a target for subjugation?!"

"Hahaha! You fool! Do you truly think I care about any of that?! You people weren't even able to stop me back then and had to turn to my father and sister to stop me! But you bastards can try, but I'll make sure to at least bring one or two of you down with me!!" Sonya laughed in a very deep voice as she quite enjoyed the sight of him being in a dilemma because of her.

'I should have done this from the very beginning instead of talking sense to him!'

"This time is different Sonya, we're not the same as back then. We're stronger now and you also have lost your Dragon Pearl to me" Hiccup mocked, but he was clenching his fist behind him.

"Hmmp! If you didn't trick me back then, would I have lost it to you?! Now give it back or face my wrath!"

ROARRR!!!

"My father is too busy playing with the Sea Tribes! Sage Laura had now taken her turn to watch over the seal on that land! The Dwarf Sage is too busy building something and doesn't even like you! Dawn, that damn assassin wouldn't dare to appear before me after I trashed him back then! My sister is too lazy to make a move and the Elven Race is still isolated from the rest of the world!

So don't even think about getting away from me! No one is coming to help you this time!"

The ocean was producing mini tsunamis due to her rage and the surrounding lands were bearing the brunt of this disaster and casualties would have started piling up by now if it wasn't for the Wizards erecting barriers around the coastal areas to protect the lands.

The nearby lands and ocean below are already devoid of any living beings, most especially the monsters and animals as they had long fled from here, away from danger!

Even those people living in the coastal areas had long since started evacuating.

"I will give you a day to make your decision! This is my final warning to you, Hiccup! Do not test me further!"

ROARRR!!!

Swoosh! Swoosh!

With a roar, the massive dragon turned around and flew back towards the direction of the mainland, leaving behind a Hiccup who looked like he had been constipated for a year!

Swish!

"B*tch!"

After Sonya had flown further away, Hiccup finally couldn't hold in his rising anger and angrily kicked the sand while his dragon whined and rubbed its head against his, probably trying to calm his emotions.

"Do I really have to give up the Dragon Pearl?" Hiccup was incensed and reluctant to give up the pearl after he had tasted the sweetness of the pearl.

Low in spirit, Hiccup turned to the dragon beside him and asked, "What do you think, Red? Should we really return the Dragon pearl to her?"

The dragon called Red looked directly to his eyes and nodded firmly while flapping his wings, releasing a low growl.

Roar~

He released a sigh and started walking along the beach while saying, "I guess we don't have any choice at this point. Without the others to help us, stopping Sonya with just us is nigh impossible. The others might even get killed if I still forcibly hold onto the pearl, but…I'm reluctant! I really can't bear to part with it! It has made us stronger throughout the years it was in our hands!"

At the beginning, his face that was full of defeat had slowly warped into something hideous, similar to that of someone who had slowly turned mad from greed.

Red, feeling the ominous energy suddenly coming from his friend, immediately gave the man a nudge on his back which had miraculously broken Hiccup out of his trance as he stumbled forward.

"Damn, I guess this is really my limit. Any longer that I hold onto it, the more danger I face. By then, I probably wouldn't even notice that I had already succumbed to my negative emotions. Thank you, Red, for bringing me back"

Hiccup immediately felt guilty upon the realization that he had almost fallen into his wicked emotions and smiled in relief as he rubbed his hand along the scales of his dragon.

'Did she actually anticipate that I'm now only barely able to protect myself from getting corrupted by the pearl? If she did, then that's quite a scary deduction she has' Hiccup thought with a chuckle, this time, he truly felt defeated.

'I really thought I could overcome it, even risking receiving her ire"
