“The surgery was very successful. Does it mean Dan Xi will recover soon?” Bai Yiyi smiled lightly; she hoped each of his surgeries would be successful.

“When Li Xiaojun recovered very well initially, Dan Xi should not be worse off. As long as she does regular check-ups and takes her medication consistently, she can be like a normal person.”

Gu Kai’s tone was gentle, and he glanced at the time on his wrist, prompting Bai Yiyi to stand up as he also got up, “Let’s go home.”

The few of them walked toward the hospital entrance together. Fang Zhiwei calmly replied, “We didn’t go inside to see her; we just talked with her mom for a while. We will visit her after she wakes up.”

Jing Xiaocha’s eyes roamed around both of them teasingly.

Bai Yiyi gave a small twitch of her lips, while Gu Kai burst out laughing, “Are you feeling envious?”

“Woof woof woof.” Jing Xiaocha made a funny face at Gu Kai, barking a few times, then said, “Sister Yiyi, you’re as happy as Sister Wen.”

Mo Xiuchen and Wen Ran have been married for so long, but wherever they go, they’re always holding hands.

Jing Xiaocha was envious when she first saw Mo Xiuchen holding Wen Ran’s hand. Now seeing Gu Kai and Bai Yiyi like this, she couldn’t help but sigh, “When I get a boyfriend in the future, I must find someone who always holds my hand wherever we go.”
