Wen Ran smiled, still feeling affection for her daughter.

After waking them all, she listened as he explained he wanted them to find a son-in-law for their daughter.

"No, it’s too late tonight."

Ye Zhan’s lips pulled into a bitter line.

Although his tone was calm, Chu Junming, knowing him well, picked up on his mild anomaly, hearing the subdued mood in his voice. He chuckled gently over the line, "You’ve had a rough night, so don’t go looking for Momo again at this hour. Get a good sleep first."
