Tang Jinchen let out a low laugh from his throat, gently pulled Gu Zhitong into his arms, "I’m not in a hurry to return to Imperial City, and you shouldn’t rush me back."

Gu Zhitong struggled out of his embrace, looked up at his smiling eyebrows and eyes.

Her heart skipped a little faster, a tiny joy mixed with barely detectable emotions spreading from deep within her.

"You must keep me, don’t send me away again."

Tang Jinchen laughed softly and placed a kiss on her brow, then took her hand and kissed her fingers, "My dad ordered me to not return unless I can take a wife."
