Chapter 2574 - 378: Moving In Together

Chapter 2574: Chapter 378: Moving In Together

Ten minutes after Wen Ran sent the message, Mo Xiuchen rushed back, entering the living room together with Ye Zhan.

Then, Ye Zhan followed Mo Xiuchen into the kitchen to make lunch. After Bai Yiyi left, Qingqing returned with Zirui, and upon seeing Momo, Zirui let go of Qingqing’s hand and called out in a childish voice, "Auntie," running over to her.

Momo picked up Zirui and took him to play.

In the kitchen, Mo Xiuchen asked Ye Zhan, "Ah Zhan, did you convince Momo to go abroad with you?"

Ye Zhan initially thought of calling Mo Xiuchen and the others in advance.

But in the end, he didn’t make the call, thinking to give them a surprise.

"Dad, Momo has resolved her inner conflict."

Ye Zhan couldn’t hide the joy in his heart and spoke proactively before Mo Xiuchen could ask.

"Really? Momo’s inner conflict is resolved?" Mo Xiuchen was somewhat incredulous.

The deeper Momo loved Ye Zhan, the deeper her inner conflict was.

Ye Zhan nodded, suppressing his smile a bit, his handsome face serious, "Dad, it’s true."

Saying this, a trace of heartache fell into his dark eyes, and he lowered his voice a notch, "Momo did it for me. She woke up in the middle of the night and saw some bad comments. Dad, I want to take Momo to live with me."

Ye Zhan respected Mo Xiuchen more than Ye Zhangming, sincerely grateful for him and Wen Ran, allowing him and Momo to be together.

Mo Xiuchen didn’t consider or hesitate, nodding in agreement, "Since Momo’s inner conflict is resolved, take her to live with you; sooner or later, you’ll get married."

"Thank you, Dad."

Ye Zhan immediately beamed again.

The joy was completely undisguised.

Mo Xiuchen watched the unrestrained joy between Ye Zhan’s brows and felt slightly touched; with him taking care of Momo, he could indeed be at ease.

After lunch, Momo and Ye Zhan went back to his house together, with no need to pack her luggage, as it hadn’t been unpacked from the car since she returned from the countryside.

Ye Zhan, holding the luggage in one hand and Momo’s hand in the other, led her into the living room and upstairs, gripping her hand tighter than usual.

It was as if he feared that letting go would make her disappear, turning everything into a delusion.

Momo seemed to sense his thoughts and turned her hand to hold his, smilingly calling him, "Ye Zhan."

"Mm."

Ye Zhan responded softly.

The lines of his features were gentle and handsome, his gaze toward her deep and tender, without needing sweet words, Momo could feel his overwhelming love, feeling both happiness and sweetness in her heart.

"Do you have anything to do this afternoon?"

"No, nothing."

They entered the master bedroom, and Ye Zhan released Momo’s hand, taking the luggage into the walk-in closet.

Coming back out, he grasped Momo’s hand again, solemnly introducing, "Momo, this will be our home from now on. If there’s anything you don’t like, want to change, just go ahead or tell me, and I’ll change it."

Momo smiled with pursed lips, "It’s great here, no need for any changes, I really like it."

"..."

Ye Zhan chuckled lowly, "Really? Momo, don’t force yourself."

"I really like it, I like your taste; everything you like, I like." When Momo said this, she smiled at Ye Zhan with curved brows and eyes.

His handsome visage was reflected in her smiling eyes; Ye Zhan, seeing himself in her gaze, had a depth of emotion in his eyes like an ocean,

"Momo, let me show you around our home."

"Sure."

Momo raised her eyebrows, agreeing cheerfully.

Ye Zhan led her by the hand, fingers interlocked, from the third floor to the first, introducing each room as if it were her first visit.

Momo’s smile lingered at the corner of her lips as she quietly listened to his introductions, occasionally responding or asking a question or two, and listening to the deep, magnetic voice of the man beside her explaining.

Her happiness was so full that it was about to overflow.

No other emotions could fit in.

After finishing the tour of their home, it was nearly 4 p.m., and Ye Zhan accompanied Momo to take a nap.

Accurately speaking, Momo fell asleep after he coaxed her, and then he sat up, not leaving the bed, gazing at her foolishly, affectionately.

At night, Momo and Ye Zhan cooked together.

Ye Zhan was unwilling to let her do anything, even refusing her help in washing vegetables.

By the end of cooking, she’d only helped him by handing over two vegetable dishes.

At the dinner table, as Momo watched Ye Zhan place food into her bowl, then looked up at his handsome brows and eyes, she couldn’t help but say, "Ye Zhan, let’s get married."

The dish Ye Zhan had just picked up fell back into the plate.

He looked up, his gaze deeply fixed on her.

Momo watched as the emotions in his eyes transitioned from surprise to acceptance, then excitement and joy, her red lips involuntarily curved upwards.

"Ye Zhan, I’m proposing to you; are you agreeing or not? Just say it straight; don’t look at me like that."

Ye Zhan raised his eyebrows, his smile spreading from the depths of his eyes.

Catching the mischief in Momo’s eyes, he replied nonchalantly, "I’ll think about it before giving you an answer."

Momo burst into laughter at his words, glared at him playfully, "When you proposed, I didn’t give you a hard time like this."

She pouted and put down her chopsticks, pretending to get up to leave, "Fine, since you’re not agreeing, I’ll find someone else to propose to; perhaps someone will agree without needing to think."
