Ye Zhan undressed and got into bed, holding her as they lay down together.

His deep, tender voice sounded in her ear, "I just went to the hospital. They said we should return to G City tomorrow since we’re not doctors and staying here doesn’t help. After leaving the hospital, I visited my mom. When you called, I was just about to come back."

Momo slightly lifted her face to look at Ye Zhan’s handsome features, "Should I go back myself? You can stay here and return in a few days."

Ye Zhan’s grip around her waist tightened slightly.

His features hardened a bit, "Even if I stayed by his side, it wouldn’t help much. In G City, we can still be in touch by phone. Momo, I’ve been distant from him for over ten years; it’s still something I’m getting used to."
