Chapter 1274: A Tacit Agreement
“Ah…” Li Yuanzhi screamed instinctively, not so much out of fear of being exposed…she still had clothes on under her outer robe…but out of terror that Song Qingshu and Chen Yuanyuan would be discovered.
She was mentally preparing to fight her way out of the palace with her lover when the scene she’d imagined never came. Seeing the guards frozen in place, Li Yuanzhi rolled her eyes inwardly: *Chen Yuanyuan really is a born vixen…she’s got every man mesmerized.*
But then she realized something was wrong. Even if Chen Yuanyuan were that captivating, what about Song Qingshu right beside her? Surely the guards wouldn’t just ignore him?
She whipped her head around and froze…the two people who’d been right beside her had vanished, leaving only rumpled sheets to show they’d ever been there.
She rubbed her eyes in disbelief. For a moment, Li Yuanzhi wondered if everything that had happened was just a one-sided dream.
“Silly girl, what are you standing there for? Send them away while you have the chance!” Song Qingshu’s familiar voice suddenly sounded in her ear.
Her worry instantly turned to joy, knowing it was Song Qingshu’s voice transmission. Quick to react, she pulled the blanket back over herself and glared at the guard leader: “Satisfied now? Get lost!” Her tone perfectly conveyed the outrage of a vi0lated young woman.
The guard leader’s face darkened, but since he was in the wrong, he just snorted and waved to his men: “Let’s go!”
Watching them file out, Li Yuanzhi’s lips curled up: “Close the door behind you!”
*SLAM!* was her answer.
Throwing on her robe, Li Yuanzhi jumped off the bed and ran to the door, peering out until she was sure the guards were gone, then returned, looking around: “Brother Song, where are you?”
“Right here.” Hearing the voice come from the bed, she ran over in disbelief…and found him and Chen Yuanyuan still in the same spot.
“How is that possible?” Li Yuanzhi muttered. She’d clearly seen the spot empty…how had they reappeared out of thin air?
“Take a look at this and you’ll understand.” Song Qingshu lifted the bedsheet, revealing the bedboard underneath.
She leaned in and saw a person-shaped hole in the board, her mouth dropping open: “How did you do that?”
Song Qingshu smiled and explained briefly. At the critical moment, he hadn’t been lost in Chen Yuanyuan’s beauty…he’d used his qi to silently cut a person-shaped hole in the bedboard, then held Chen Yuanyuan and dropped through the hole, hiding under the bed. He then replaced the board and used the Dragon-Catching Skill to restore the sheets from above, all while controlling the blanket from underneath the bed.
By the time the guard pulled back the blanket, nothing seemed amiss. As for the bed itself, the leader had already checked it…he’d never expect someone to be hiding underneath.
It sounded simple, but very few in the martial world could have pulled it off. One needed profound inner power to silently cut the board, the control to drop with a person and the board without a sound, and then the Dragon-Catching Skill to manipulate objects from a distance.
“Brother Song, you’re amazing!” Li Yuanzhi gazed at him with adoration and bounced over to ki$$ him on the cheek.
“Eh? Brother Song, why do you have rouge on your face?” Li Yuanzhi wiped her lips, and her words made Chen Yuanyuan’s face burn red.
Song Qingshu coughed awkwardly: “Go keep watch at the door…make sure the guards don’t double back.”
“Okay.” Li Yuanzhi, being young at heart, was easily distracted and skipped back to the door to keep watch.
Once she’d left, Song Qingshu looked down at Chen Yuanyuan: “Let’s continue.”
“Mm…” Her heart had raced at almost being caught, then relaxed at their narrow escape…it was like a rollercoaster. When the blanket was thrown open, the tension reached a breaking point. Chen Yuanyuan’s legs clamped tightly around Song Qingshu’s hand, her b0dy trembling uncontrollably, leaving her weak all over.
Song Qingshu activated the One-Yang Finger again and opened the remaining acupoints on her Yinwei Meridian.
“Turn to the side…I’ll open your Yangwei Meridian now.” Chen Yuanyuan’s b0dy was now soft and yielding, softer than cotton, and with her acupoints opened, her cl0thes were soaked with fragrant sweat, clinging to her skin and outlining her perfect curves.
A subtle, elusive fragrance…neither orchid nor musk…reached his nose, and Song Qingshu’s heart stirred.
“You… can you take your hand out now?” Chen Yuanyuan’s voice was slightly husky, but carried a seductive quality far beyond her usual dignified calm.
“Alright.” Song Qingshu felt he’d been a bit inconsiderate, pretending to forget about it all this time. Since she’d brought it up, he couldn’t keep it there.
“You’ll need to relax your legs first,” he said wryly.
“Oh!” Chen Yuanyuan’s alluring oval face went crimson…her b0dy had been so sensitive that she’d instinctively clamped her legs together.
“Aah…”
Whether because he feared hurting her or for some other reason, Song Qingshu’s withdrawal was deliberately slow. This tormented Chen Yuanyuan…she could feel her very soul trembling as if stirred by his fingers.
Just as the operation was nearly complete, Chen Yuanyuan let out a breath of relief, though an inexplicable sense of loss and emptiness washed over her, leaving her momentarily at a loss.
Song Qingshu was also struggling. Her soul trembled, and so did his. His mouth was dry, his mind suddenly feverish.
“Unggg~” Chen Yuanyuan’s eyes went wide, her voice quivering: “You… you’re doing it again…”
“The Huiyin point is the Sea of the Yin Channels and the origin of the hundred meridians. Infusing true qi here can double the healing effect,” Song Qingshu began spouting nonsense with a straight face.
“Ahhn…but… isn’t the Huiyin point… back there?” Chen Yuanyuan couldn’t help wanting to squeeze her legs together again.
“Ahem…” Song Qingshu’s face reddened. “This is the Minor Huiyin point…a hidden acupoint on the body.”
“Oh…” Chen Yuanyuan nodded, half-understanding. Of course she knew he was lying, but at this moment they both needed a reason to continue, no matter how flimsy.
Holding his breath and concentrating, Song Qingshu continued using the One-Yang Finger to open the remaining acupoints…though occasionally his other finger would also practice the art, exploring the peerless beauty in his arms.
“Hnggg~”

An hour or two later, the healing was finally complete. Chen Yuanyuan felt as if she’d been pulled from hot water, unable to move a single finger.
Li Yuanzhi stared suspiciously at her flushed cheeks and watery eyes: “Did the two of you do something behind my back?”
“No,” they answered in unison. After exchanging a glance, they silently agreed that what had just happened would remain a secret between the two of them.
