Chapter 561: Celia’s Plan, Crazy Request
Within seconds, security personnel rushed over and restrained him. The crowd watched as the man was dragged away. Isaac’s gaze followed him the entire time.
His clone had already started tracking the man. Regardless of what happened publicly, Isaac intended to ’deal’ with him. He was not willing to simply let the matter go.
At that moment, loud cheers erupted throughout the venue. Many human fans were clapping and celebrating. The atmosphere became surprisingly lively.
"Sorry, everyone. I’ll be taking a short break," Celia announced.
The audience immediately told her not to apologize. Several even shouted that she deserved the rest. Their reactions made it obvious this was not the first incident they had witnessed.
A few minutes later, Celia entered the break room. Isaac was already waiting there. The moment she entered, he looked at her curiously.
"What was all that cheering about?" he asked.
Celia walked over without answering immediately. She took his hand and pulled him toward a chair. Before he could react, she sat comfortably on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Similar situations happened before. My fans eventually started looking forward to seeing those people get put in their place. It has become a strange tradition at this point," she explained.
Isaac nodded slightly. The explanation made sense. Human crowds often developed unusual habits over time.
"How did Vale deal with them?" he asked.
Celia hesitated briefly before answering. "He usually sent them to prison for a very long time. He never really discussed what happened afterward."
She paused before continuing. "Arlene told me some things, though. Apparently, brother would hire people from prison to deal with them."
A bitter smile appeared on her face. While she strongly disliked molesters, she could not honestly say she enjoyed the idea of people being permanently crippled. The entire subject left her feeling conflicted.
Isaac remained silent for a moment. Ruby had already informed him of the truth through his clone. Vale never stopped at prison sentences.
Every one of those offenders eventually disappeared. To protect his prized star, Vale had ordered Arlene to reveal only part of the story. Celia knew enough to understand punishment occurred, but not enough to know its true extent.
Isaac had no intention of following the same approach. He did not believe in hiding harsh realities from her. Shielding her from every ugly truth would not help her grow.
If she wanted to grow and soar through the sky, she deserved to know how the world truly worked. Isaac had no intention of building a comfortable illusion around her. Some truths were unpleasant, but they were still truths.
Celia studied his expression for several seconds. She knew him too well to miss what was going through his mind. The look in his eyes was already enough.
Then she sighed softly.
"You’re going to kill that person," she said, seeing the look in his eyes.
"Yes," Isaac replied with a nod. His answer came without hesitation, as though he had already made the decision long ago.
"Isaac—"
"He molested you. You’re one of the most famous people in the country, and everyone knows you’re an awakener. You have security around you, yet he still dared to do that."
Isaac looked at her steadily as he continued.
"What about ordinary women who aren’t awakened? They can’t protect themselves the way you can. If he can do that to you, then he can do the same thing to others. Would you really tell me not to kill him when he might have already ruined someone’s life or could ruin another one in the future?"
Celia fell silent after hearing that.
Until now, she had never thought like that. Isaac’s words forced her to look at the situation from a different angle. If someone had the courage to cross that line with her despite her status and protection, then what would stop him from targeting someone far more vulnerable?
The realization was unpleasant, but she could not deny it.
"You are correct," Celia admitted.
A few minutes passed in silence.
Celia tried to return to the mood she had originally planned for the evening, but every attempt failed. The incident kept forcing its way back into her thoughts, ruining everything she had prepared.
Eventually, an irritated groan escaped her lips.
"Argh. I had such a good plan for today, and that guy completely ruined the mood."
Isaac raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean by—"
Before he could finish speaking, Celia grabbed his collar and pulled him closer.
The rest of his words disappeared as she pressed her lips against his. Her tongue entered his mouth. Her arms wrapped around his neck, and she held him there without giving him a chance to pull away. Only after a long moment did she finally let him go.
"This is better," she declared.
A faint flush covered her face. Both Celia and Isaac could feel their blood raging. Their saliva had aphrodisiac, after all.
Celia seemed completely satisfied with the result.
"Isaac, you know, I could tell that you didn’t like seeing me shake hands with other people," she purred into his ears seductively.
"What? Don’t make things up."
"I’m not making anything up, I know you better than you think."
Isaac opened his mouth to argue, but Celia continued before he could.
"I won’t do handshake events anymore. In fact, I’m going to cancel this one as well." She blew air into his ears and looked at his eyes with a charming yet seductive gaze.
Isaac had a hard time thinking straight due to their kiss and her current actions.
Still, he spoke, "You’re serious?"
"Of course, I love my fans. But I love you too. In this case, if I have to choose between one, I will choose you. I will stop the handshake event for you."
"...What do you want?"
Celia’s smile widened at once.
"It’s good that you understand there are no free things in this world, darling," she purred.
Isaac could not deny that he disliked those events. Maybe it was because of the possessiveness born from his dragon blood, but he did not enjoy the idea of countless strangers holding his wives’ hand.
If granting one of her wishes could make those events disappear, he would gladly accept.
At least, that was what he thought.
Then Celia told him her condition.
Isaac froze.
For a few seconds, he simply stared at her, convinced he had misheard something.
"...What?"
"You heard me correctly," Celia said, giggling at his reaction.
"Get lost!" Isaac snapped.
This girl had gone crazy!
