Chapter 663: Fate Of God Domain, Summoning To The Divine Realm

The look in Sage Sea’s eyes changed slightly. There was a faint trace of dissatisfaction and disappointment as he looked at Isaac, as though he had reached a rather unpleasant conclusion from what he had heard.

"No, it’s not like what you think," Isaac said.

He then explained the situation to Sage Sea. His wives were public figures, and because of that, many people had formed their own assumptions about his relationships with them. Some believed that he had used nefarious means to keep them by his side, while others simply assumed that there had to be some hidden reason behind why so many influential women were willing to stay with him.

It did not help that one of his wives was extremely popular. She was an Idol, and many of her fanatic fans believed Isaac had stolen her from them.

"Idol?" Sage Sea asked, clearly unfamiliar with the term.

Isaac explained what an Idol was and described the position they held in society. He also explained how an Idol could become extremely popular, with large numbers of people following their activities and becoming emotionally attached to them.

Sage Sea nodded slowly after listening to him. "So that is what it means. However, there is something you must know. God Domains do not only include the way people perceive you. They can also include your life trajectory, or what you would call fate. Of course, not every God Domain represents your fate. Some exist purely because of how people perceive you, but others can reflect things that may happen in your future. Having the highest affinity with the NTR God Domain would mean that, in the future, you might..."

"No. I will never. I am an advocate of pure love." Isaac immediately defended himself.

Sage Sea stared at him for a moment. There was still a trace of suspicion in his eyes, which made Isaac feel even more wronged.

Inwardly, Isaac was surprised by what he had just learned. He had never considered that a God Domain could be influenced by something as vague as fate, and he certainly did not like the implications of having an affinity with the NTR God Domain.

Isaac shook his head inwardly. There was no way his fate would involve NTRing someone, because he was an advocate of pure love and hated the very idea of destroying another person’s relationship for some disturbing pleasure.

"Hmm, let us speak with Goddess Ruth. We can explain your circumstances to her. Even though your God Domain and hers are complete opposites, the Goddess will not simply refuse to listen to you because of that," Sage Sea said after a moment.

Isaac nodded. That explanation made sense to him, especially considering how long Gods were supposed to have lived.

A God who had survived for such a long period should not be someone who acted purely on impulse. If they had truly lived for countless years, then they should have enough experience to understand that judging someone before hearing their circumstances was not always wise.

With that settled, Isaac brought Selene along and began preparing the tribute Sage Sea had requested. There were quite a few things that needed to be prepared, including rare resources, precious materials, high-grade potions, valuable equipment, and several other expensive items that would normally be difficult to obtain.

The thousand Gold Coins were only one part of the tribute. Isaac’s heart bled as they were giving away so many valuable things, but since they were going to meet a God, he felt that being generous was better than appearing disrespectful.

After everything had been prepared, Isaac built a simple shop inside the Moon Pendant. It was made from roots summoned with his skill. The shop did not need to be elaborate, because its main purpose was to provide the foundation required for Selene’s skill to activate, after which she would be able to link the shop with merchants.

This first meeting was to ask the Goddess permission for subsequent requests.

"Are we really going to talk to a God?" Selene asked. She tried to sound calm, but there was still some nervousness in her voice.

"Yes, but there is no need to be nervous. Given the description of your skill, I believe the God should not be able to harm us, even if the conversation does not go well," Isaac said.

"Mhm," Selene replied with a small nod.

Even though she was a Moon Dragon, Selene was still only an Adept-rank Awakener. The difference between an Adept and a God was so enormous that there was no way she could completely ignore the pressure of meeting one.

Sage Sea placed all the items inside the shop before moving to the side. He then began singing several mantras in an ancient language, his voice remaining calm as the unfamiliar words filled the room.

According to Sage Sea, the mantras were written in an old language and were meant to praise Goddess Ruth while describing parts of her journey. Isaac did not understand the language, so he could only wait until the ritual was completed.

After some time, Sage Sea finally stopped. He looked toward Selene and spoke, "Please, activate your skill."

Selene nodded and activated her ability.

Mana erupted from her body and began flowing toward the shop. The mana soon covered the entire structure before twisting around it, and then it began flowing toward a direction that none of them could see.

The items Isaac had prepared disappeared in a flash.

At almost the same moment, Isaac and Selene both felt a strange pull. Isaac immediately realized that something was wrong because instead of having a talk, it felt like their minds were being summoned away.

The skill description had said nothing about their consciousness being pulled away like this. Before Isaac could figure out what was happening, he instinctively began resisting.

An ethereal voice suddenly echoed.

"It joys me to meet you again, Harauma. I would love to talk to you more, but our time is limited. Can you tell these little ones to stop resisting? I will explain everything after the summoning is complete."
