Chapter 714: Working Hard, Conqueror Trial
Eventually, a small smile appeared on his face. "You really know me well."
Emily’s cheeks became slightly red, but she nodded while looking away. Celia, meanwhile, seemed to have decided that the massage had lasted long enough, because she turned around and climbed onto the bed before moving closer to Isaac.
"I know something else too," Celia said as she wrapped her arms around him. Isaac immediately became cautious, because the playful expression on her face made it obvious that she was about to cause trouble again.
Celia looked at him with a knowing smile and continued, "I’ve been pent up for days because you were away with Selene and Catherine, and now that you’ve already given Alice her buff, you must have figured out some way to deal with the World Tree’s surveillance, right?"
Isaac’s smile stiffened as he realized what she was suggesting.
"I am a bit tired today," he said carefully, hoping that his exhaustion would be enough to convince her to leave him alone for the night.
Maintaining the connection between the real world and the Spatial Domain had been exhausting enough when he was completely focused on it. Doing that while doing Alice had drained almost all of his stamina, mana and life force.
Celia giggled when she saw his increasingly panicked expression. She clearly found his reaction far more entertaining than she should have, and the way she continued smiling made Isaac realize that his excuse was not going to work.
"Hehe, it’s fine. I know you have it in you," Celia said while leaning closer to him. "Also, make sure you give me a proper proposal later. Just think of tonight as a reward for it beforehand."
Before Isaac could figure out what she meant, Celia activated her Queen of Desire Transformation skill. Her expression immediately became more confident as she pushed him backward onto the bed, making it perfectly clear that she had no intention of letting him escape the situation so easily.
Isaac stared at her helplessly while trying to figure out how he had somehow ended up in this situation. He had only wanted to enjoy a quiet evening after what had already been an exhausting day, but Celia clearly had other plans for him.
Then a shy voice came from the side, making Isaac turn his head toward Emily. "I-I am joining too. I’ve been waiting for days as well."
Emily’s face had become noticeably red, and she looked embarrassed by her own words, but she did not retreat or take them back. Instead, she slowly moved closer while trying her best to maintain her composure.

Alice POV
Alice arrived at the private room where Seventh Queen Jasmine was waiting for her. Jasmine looked up as soon as she entered and gave her a small smile, appearing somewhat surprised by how quickly Alice had come.
"You came quite fast. I thought you would need several days before you made a decision about this matter," Jasmine said as she gestured toward the seat across from her.
Alice ignored the comment and sat down across from her. "Let’s just get this over with. I don’t have much patience for wasting time, especially when you still haven’t explained what exactly you wanted to show me."
She leaned forward slightly, resting her hands on the table as she looked directly into Jasmine’s eyes. "Also, if I find out that you were wasting my time or trying to play some kind of trick on me, you should be prepared for the consequences."
Jasmine’s expression became serious as she nodded. Unlike before, there was no trace of amusement in her eyes. "I understand, Alice, and I won’t try anything like that, because this matter is related to my own people and I have no reason to treat it as a game."
Jasmine reached across the table and took Alice’s hand. Alice immediately felt uncomfortable at the contact, since she was not accustomed to holding someone else’s hand like this, and she disliked the feeling greatly, but she did not pull away because she understood that Jasmine needed to activate some kind of skill.
A strange sensation entered her mind, and images slowly began appearing in front of her consciousness. They showed events with clear and vivid details.
Alice closed her eyes and carefully watched every image that appeared. At first, she simply observed, trying to understand why Jasmine was showing her these ’memories’, but after a while, something inside her began to tremble as familiar scenes started appearing.
She saw herself falling from grace after failing her Talent awakening. In those memories, her worth had fallen drastically, and she had been exiled from the city because she was no longer considered useful to her family, then had been plotted against.
Alice’s expression slowly changed as she watched the memories continue. There was something fundamentally wrong about them, because in these memories she had never met Isaac, and there was no trace of the relationship that had become such an important part of her current life.
Her heart began to shake as she continued watching. The more memories Jasmine showed her, the more familiar they became, and Alice gradually realized that she was not simply watching fake memories.
These were memories she had forgotten.
Alice’s breathing became slightly heavier when a particular scene appeared before her. She recognized the feeling immediately, even though she could not explain how she knew it, because it was connected to something that had been buried deep inside her mind.
Her Conqueror Trial.
The memories that she had forgotten during the Conqueror Trial were slowly returning, and they matched the scenes Jasmine was showing her with frightening accuracy. Alice could remember pieces of them now, although they had once seemed completely inaccessible to her.
After being exiled from the city, the Alice in those memories had faced countless difficulties while struggling to survive on her own. She eventually awakened her Talent, became strong enough to return, and came back to the city with only one purpose in mind.
Revenge.
But when she finally returned, the city was already gone.
