Chapter 1517 First [Bonus]

Chapter 1517 First [Bonus]

[Bonus thanks to MrBaller. I hope this castle makes a name change in order. If I see another one of these, I'm sending a letter to the IRS for an audit. You won't be balling on my watch] Sylas would never allow his Pride to dictate his actions. He moved as he pleased, and he would do things at his own pace.

He had already seen what happened when the Sloth allowed his Seed to dictate so much of himself. But he was no Sloth, and he was no Monkey—he was Sylas Grimblade. The momentum of Sylas' breakthrough sputtered to a stop, his body shuddering one last time as what was left of his impurities was ejected from his body.

A large amount of shock weighed heavily in his veins. His body had undergone an evolution the likes of which even Primus Imperium would struggle to keep up with.

Sylas struggled to stand, feeling that his body was grimy and gross from head to toe. A certain member stood at such full attention it could be a pole to flag poles, but he could only control it, slowly walking forward and into his personal bath.

The vessel hadn't changed much since he left—probably because of the time dilation and Old Brama not having much time to make changes.

But it was a good thing in this case, because he knew exactly where to go to clean himself.

Sylas' eyes shot open, and he slowly pulled himself out of the bath. He had no idea how long he had spent there, but his body seemed to have been pent up in more ways than one... He was tired. Or, rather, he had been until this long nap.

Water sloshed around as he stood, exhaling a calming breath. Stepping out of the tub, he walked to the mirror. Somehow, he was certain he was the same person, and yet he had completely changed.

Back when he got his Great Ape Lineage, he had grown taller, looming over 6'6". He had shrunk three inches this time, his body becoming several orders of magnitude more compact and sturdy. Every step just felt so... heavy.

His eyes were greener, the lines and threads of various shades of green still layering atop one another. But now, there was a ring of gold that separated his whites from the core of his eyes.

His hair was even wilder, and sometimes, when he moved a little too quickly, he could see flashes of gold in their dense black curls. And when he ran a hand through them, they were somehow both as soft as clouds and simultaneously far harder than any steel. If he tied a strand to two sturdy poles, an unsuspecting victim walking at a leisurely pace would be sliced in two before they even understood they'd lost their lives.

His teeth felt whiter, his skin almost... shiny in its bronzed hue. When he flexed his fists, he could practically hear his tendons firing one after another, a violent uprising charging beneath his skin.

He couldn't have been more perfectly proportioned if he tried, his vascularity simply being off the charts. It felt as though he had been chiseled right out of the hardest stone known to man.

To have such stats without even beginning his Foundation building yet... Even the World Serpent only had stats around double Sylas' Physical with a completely built Foundation —and that was a creature certainly comparable to an S-Grade Race.

Of course, the clone probably didn't have access to any of the World Serpent's Titles, which would certainly boost its stats further. But if Sylas' stats were compared to Authrione, a true member of a B+ Race, or Boradora... He had left them behind.

If he built his Foundation like they already had, he would leave them even further behind. If he were to fight Authrione again now, it would be a matter of a single exchange, if that. With his current Will and Charisma combo, he didn't even need to raise a finger.

Sylas wasn't quite sure if every Grimblade had also reached the A-Grade in Race as well. In the final moments, he had blanked out a bit.

But what he knew for certain was that their chances of doing so weren't zero. And even if they hadn't now, they were at the extremities of what was possible for a B-Grade Race. They were certainly on the same level as Authrione's centaur race.

Yet, Sylas knew this wasn't enough. This was just the beginning.

Unless he continued to improve, they would fall by the wayside.

They might be considered a B-Grade or even A-Grade Race now, but the difference between them and other A-Grade Races was that the latter already had powerful experts of the A-tier who had long laid out the path forward.

Right now... the Grimblades were flying completely blind. They had no idea what the next step was.

It was up to their Patriarch to lay it out for them.

And first, Sylas needed to know what Champion Will was.

If not for it... none of this madness would have been triggered in the first place.
