Cassarae dropped down from above, landing in the quaking ship. It swayed side to side as the vacuum that had once protected the ship was removed. With the seal to the outside open, air rushed out.

Blaring warning sounds echoed over the speaker, flashing red lights following as emergency protocols were forced into action.

Cassarae could hear the sound of gears turning and churning as heavy doors sealed up ahead to try and contain the damage, leaving the crew members—various warriors of the Trakar Race—on this side trapped.

Good enough for her.

Her grip over her sword tightened and her blue aura gained a silver tint to it as she activated her Silver Scythe Gene Class Harmony.

[Silver Scythe Form (FFF+) (Gene Class Harmony)l[A blade wreathed in silver and flowing no less quickly. Death comes to your enemies not just casually, but with the swiftness of a blade falling from the skies] —

Cassarae took a step forward and her speed increased by a factor of ten.

Chi. Chi. Chi. Chi. Chi.

A long line of Trakar of the D-tier were cut down like weeds.

They were a commendable Race of people. Even knowing the danger they were in— ejected by their own people to fight a battle under the treacherous grip of space—they charged forward with murderous intent, ready to fight to their last breath.

It was too bad they were hardly even aware of said last breath.

Cassarae moved like flowing mercury. The stats of these D-tiers might have been about equivalent to her own, but when it came to the effectiveness of these stats, they were pitifully behind.

This was no surprise. The D-tiers of the Milky Way Sector already had stats in the six to even seven figures. The fact they had stats equivalent to Cassarae wasn't something to be proud of... It was pathetic.

[Sultain Dazeth (DDD+)][Level: 137]

(Physical: 72,382] (Mental: 37111[Will: 22,387]

BOOM.

A steel door to Cassarae's left shot out, nearly flattening her. Her [Grandmaster Scouting] Skill immediately pierced through the Trakar's defenses and converted his stats.

Sultain was dressed head to toe in a bronzed armor, his DDD+ marker clearly a measure of the Milky Way Galaxy's standards, not the Milky Way Sector's. To the Sector as a whole, he might barely be a D-, and only because there was no lower rung to go to.

On paper, though, his stats were far superior to Cassarae's.

In action, though...?

He didn't even know how he lost his life.

[Blade Severance].

Cassarae took a step and in the next instant she was behind him, aura blazing off of her blade as though ribbons of silky strands were dancing in the air.

"Fuck you."

Those were the last words Stain heard before he fell into two pieces.

Cassarae was about to take another step, aiming her blade toward the heavy steel doors that sealed off the rest of the ship, when she stumbled.

Fuck. I lost too much blood.

She had already taken too many Healing Elixirs in the last few days. If she took any more the toxicity would become unmanageable.

Taking deep breaths, she grit her teeth at the door. She had no ship now, and Sylas was almost certainly locked in battle with Fowler and his followers. He wouldn't be able to get here anytime soon.

The only way was forward.

She raised her blade again and cut down a door that was easily two feet thick.

That C-tier better not be on this ship...

[Title Upgraded][Grade Slayer > King Slayer][A Slayer faces a dauntless task. To fell the strongest of the strong, and to do so with an unfazed spirit and a fathomless heart. [Cassarae: Kick his ass, he bullied your wife]

Sylas saw the message and his eyes flickered. The drones in the immediate region had retreated, leaving the vessel in a bit of a no-man's land. Approaching the asteroids any further was far too dangerous with a lone ship, but going back now was just as impossible.

The distances you dealt with in space were too ridiculous. Not to mention the problems with dealing with attacks from three dimensions.

it's coming.

At the very least, one problem was handled. Cassarae should be fine... for the time being. She should be just fine against the D-tiers of the Trakar. The problem would be if there was a C-tier present.

The Trakar should only have a handful of those, but the odds that such a large commotion was taking place without one of them being there was next to impossible. And now...

The drones in the distance stopped retreating, forming a mesh in the air as though a disconnected net of technology. They looked toward Sylas' vessel and then reformed into the face of a man, projections of light coming from them that made it look so real it was almost as though a floating head of a giant had appeared in the depths of space. “You must be... Sylas Grimblade."
