Chapter 1533 Berouthe Dazeth

Sylas couldn't look back toward Cassarae, his expression sharp. Old Brama was busy stabilizing their own ship. They had already invested far too much into it to possibly lose it now. Sylas had a lot of money, but they had burned through it all. Though he could make a ton more selling Legendary Genes, first he needed a market that could actually take it, and then he would need time to sell it.

The best F-Grade Genes in the entire Horizon were just Gold, and that was probably true for a few of the surrounding Horizons as well.

There might be one or two families who invested enough to get their youths Legendary Genes in one or a couple stats, but there weren't any who could have a full slate like Sylas.

That was to say that Sylas had an unlimited wealth generator in his mind and at his fingertips, but no easy place to execute it all.

With the time crunch he was on right now, he couldn't possibly allow himself to lose his best transportation vehicle. But that was the price he had to pay for blasting apart Fowler's drone swarm with the body of their ship.

Now, there was only himself alone here to face off against the first C-tier he had ever faced.

Even so... deep in his sharp gaze was a light of strong conviction, the fist that burrowed toward him slowing down considerably to his vision. Read complete version only at noᴠelfire.net

[Milky Way Progenitor (Title)]

The power of Patriarch Dazeth's fist dropped by an entire half. But more importantly than that, Sylas felt he could see its complete inner workings.

As though layered by all the training the Patriarch had done to achieve this level of power with his fists, Sylas could see one layer of comprehension after another, from the weakest of fists to the strongest, all combined together until he saw what he was looking for.

The weakness Patriarch Dazeth had never gotten rid of.

Sylas' body swayed as his skin was coated in layers of silvery scales, his hair dancing in the wind as it became an almost blinding sheen of white.

He stomped a foot down heavily as his body leaned to one side, erupting with an uppercut right to Patriarch Dazeth's elbow.

The size difference between the two of them was enormous. Trying to fight him almost felt like trying to fight a third of a suburban house.

But one wouldn't be able to tell by the powerful, aggressive stance Sylas was exuding. BOOM.

Sylas' fist landed squarely on the bottom of Patriarch Dazeth's two arms, sending it propelling upward with such speed and force that it crashed into the latter's upper of two arms.

They were both sent flying upward, exposing Patriarch Dazeth's chest.

Sylas took another strong step forward.

His and Nosphaleen's Physical stats combined were nearly half a million. Unfortunately, being a true Gold Beast now, Sylas' Bronze Vipermancy Profession wasn't strong enough to boost Nosphaleen any further with his Beast Totem.

But he didn't need to.

Their combined Will was over 900,000. When applied to Sylas' telekinesis and used as a booster to his immediate strength... Using his Mixed Demonic Arts Comprehension on top of that was little short of overkill. Especially after his Progenitor status suppressed the Patriarch into the ground.

BOOM.

Sylas' fist slammed against Patriarch Dazeth's open chest. The armor on the latter's body deformed and his torso curled into a U-shape. He was sent flying so fast it looked as though he teleported the moment Sylas' fist touched him.

Everything happened so fast that Cassarae hadn't even lost consciousness yet, her body swaying back and falling toward the ground, only to be caught by a gentle wave of Sylas' telekinesis.

"Beat his ass..." she mumbled.

Sylas happily obliged.

Taking a step forward, he appeared above Patriarch Dazeth before he slammed into anything at all, driving a fist downward with such force streaks of light and air friction exploded around his arm.

BOOM.

The Trakar head hit the ground hard, the ship quaking and swaying in the skies. However, his armor remained intact.

Sylas didn't care.

Flickering again, he appeared by the side of the bouncing Patriarch, driving a knee right into the side of his enormous head.

Sylas moved too fast, too sharply. Patriarch Dazeth was so suppressed he couldn't even see what was happening around him. His Luck wasn't even pinging him to the danger. What right did he have to be warned by the Progenitor of his Galaxy?

BOOM.

Sylas descended with an axe kick from above. Every time he struck at the Patriarch's chest, he landed the strike in the same region, again, and again, and again.

Until...

Chi.

The armor cracked, and then shattered apart. The tearing sounded so subtle, and yet the moment it broke, so too did the Patriarch’s torso.

Chiseled skin became torn flesh. Sparkling bone was ripped to pieces, revealing a beating cascade of hearts beneath.

BOOM.

The Patriarch landed heavily on the ground, coughing up one mouthful of blood after another.

Just a year ago... Sylas was just an F-tier... did he really grow to a C-tier...

So fast?

He could see Sylas' stats, but he had no idea what level he was. He had no ability to conceptualize an F-tier being so powerful... Even right up until his death.

Sylas bent down, gripping one of the Trakar's hearts and tearing it to pieces.

He reached down again, pulling at another, and then ripping it to pieces as well.

Then he reached down toward a third and final one, looking the Patriarch in his eyes as he gripped it.

“You're about as weak as your son."

Sylas squeezed, his claws tearing right through it all.

The Patriarch breathed shallow breaths, his chest spewing blood like a broken faucet. It churned as though trying to form new connections to circulate his life's blood, but he was completely unable to.

Deep inside, Sylas felt his Foundation stir, shimmering with a bright light.
