Genetic Ascension

Chapter 1574 Everything [Bonus]

1574 Everything [Bonus]

[Bonus thanks to Ricky_D_Reader. He claims his hand slipped. I bet that's also how he explains how his dick got in a man's ass too. We don't judge, buddy.] Sylas stepped outside the Demon World and back into the Real World. The emerald-gold glow around him had faded, and he looked up into the skies.

[Quest Cleared]

That was all he received. No rewards, no extra system message, nothing. But he guessed this was what was meant by with great power came great responsibility.

He had been given a great boon as the Progenitor of a world like Earth. Soon, once Earth officially stepped into the world as one amongst the many Summoned, that boon would only become more obvious.

It was his duty, then, to protect his world.

"Look, I know you probably just accomplished something great just now, and I'd prefer to jump your bones right here. But did we really have to bring her along?" Cassarae pointed over her shoulder toward the woman who was just there smiling.

She had her hands clasped behind her back, her pelvis tilted just a bit forward in a lean as though she was trying to make sure everyone and everything got a good look at her metallic cock.

She truly had not the slightest hint of shame.

"She can't stay in the Demon World. If I don't keep an eye on her, it will cause problems."

"Didn't you sign a slave contract already?"

"Yes." Sylas nodded, but he didn't explain further.

Cassarae gave the woman a glare.

"Oh, don't mind me. I like to watch." She blinked in anticipation.

"I can't imagine why." Cassarae sneered, looking down at the metal strap-on.

"You'd be surprised. It's very sensory. I can even feel the nice breeze passing through here."

"Dress yourself," Sylas said, stepping into the air as the roar of the Hollow Wing peeled across the skies. "And keep up."

The woman pouted a bit, but she listened without missing a beat. A black robe covered her from head to toe, and she leapt after Sylas.

As a Progenitor, Sylas could invite anyone he wanted onto the planet, including a C-tier like this woman.

The Hollow Wing began practically blinking across the skies, speeding forward at an impossible pace. Yet, the woman remained attached with a leisurely stroll, her smile remaining the same.

"What is your Rune Mastery level?" Sylas asked, not bothering to look back as though he already knew she would be able to keep up.

"Little old me? I'm not too good. Soul Mastery."

To the people of the Milky Way Sector, this would already be truly exaggerated. The vast majority of C-tier Rune Masters weren't even at a workable level. Most had just settled on becoming exceptional D-tier Rune Masters instead, using their C-tier existence to leverage better outcomes.

A Soul Mastery C-tier was stronger than even Old Brama by a good margin. There was still a large gap between it and Rune Essence, but as the sixth level of Rune Mastery, it was exceptional nonetheless.

Sylas looked over toward Cassarae. "The others, did they escape? Or are they dead?"

"It took you this long to ask?"

Sylas looked away. That was all the answer he needed. That should mean that Megean, Olivia, and everyone else was fine. That wouldn't disrupt future plans too much.

The bulk of Earth's problems should have been dealt with now, but there were still some external matters that needed to be addressed.

Fowler of the Leava Clan was a very real threat he couldn't personally deal with. While it was seemingly easy to just send this woman out there to kill him and be done with it, Sylas didn't want to take this route either.

That wasn't because he was too prideful to do it, but instead because it would be foolish.

He had been learning about the Professors from the Pride Madness Key since this ride back to Casstle Main began, and he knew their ways more intimately.

This helped him understand why the woman had submitted so easily.

But it also helped him understand that there were too many variables surrounding these people as well.

Their methods were unscrupulous. They had no bottom line, no morals; they didn't even have a real sense of self.

The woman had said that Sylas was very much like them, but Sylas knew himself quite well. To him, there was a difference between conforming to the laws of the world around him and acting as he pleased regardless of them.

It was hard to say what the Professors would do once they knew that one of their own had been captured by Sylas. But what Sylas didn't expect was that the moment he entered his personal ship with the woman, Jala would have the fiercest reaction he had ever seen.

The young man lunged at the woman, fury burning in his eyes and rage eating at his belly.

He grabbed her neck the instant he saw the spider leg swinging beneath her robes. He had only ever met one Professor in his life, but it was all he needed to recognize another.

However, what was the woman's strength and what was his?

She just stood there, smiling calmly as Jala grabbed her neck. He tried sinking his nails into her neck and even smashing down with a glaive right atop her head.

But it all bounced off as though nothing at all had happened.

"Well, that's not very nice, now is it?" she asked with a pout.

Sylas watched all of this calmly from the side. He didn't know why Jala was acting so fiercely. Sylas hadn't been aware of the fact he had been targeted by a Professor in the past already because Jala ended up taking the fall.

"That's enough," Sylas said.

Jala looked toward Sylas with red eyes, fury bubbling up within him.

"THEY TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!"

Sylas' eyes narrowed. "You've met them before?"

"YES!" Jala's words fell out in a torrent, and the matters of back then came out, even down to the fact the All-Seeing Eye had come from none other than the Professors.

What Jala didn't expect was that the moment he finished speaking, Sylas would raise a finger.

It was the last sight Jala saw before a feeling of emptiness overwhelmed him.

He collapsed to the ground in his own blood.
