The stats alone were ridiculous enough. But the General was riding a steed and seemed to have no intention of getting off of it. With a glaive in hand and what was clearly a Combat Mount beneath him, his power was even more exaggerated than what these stats entailed. This didn’t even count what was certainly an extra boost thanks to his armor.
Sylas walked forward calmly, taking a breath. The world stilled, and his mind seemed to filter out the noise.
General Aleen had been ready to put a great deal of pressure on Sylas. He could feel that Sylas was inferior to him in every way, and yet… it was the sound of Sylas’ footsteps that echoed in his ears.
A blazing green flame danced in Sylas’ eyes, and his Will seemed to form a towering monument.
As Sylas began to take steady steps onto the arena, black scales began to appear across his body. By the time he took the last step, he was coated from head to toe.

[Title Unlocked]
[Title: Surge of the Die (FF+)]
[The Odds shift ever against you, but you’re more than willing to play them and push them forward with your Will]
[Title Devours Shake of the Die]
[+10%-25% boost in ALL stats randomly when facing ten or more enemies five or more Levels strong]
[-1 enemy necessary for every 100 Will points]
—
[+25% Boost Applies]

Sylas’ Luck was too high in comparison to the Grade of the Title. Almost every time he triggered it, he would gain a perfect effect. As for when he had upgraded Shake of the Die, it was none other than on his way to the System City over a day ago.
His stats might still be lacking in comparison to this General… but it was no longer so exaggerated.
The clench of his fists caused his bones to crackle, echoing even over the sound of the crowd.
BOOM!
General Aleen suddenly moved, and Sylas’ gaze flashed with a bright blue color.
–
[Arctic King’s Domain (FFF-) (Skill)] (Gold Mastery)
[Special Damage: 50/second]
[Special Buff: +70% to all Ice-Poison Skills used]
–
In a single blink, the entire arena was enveloped, and there was nowhere for General Aleen to hide. To practically instant-cast a Domain Skill of this complexity was unheard of, but it could only be said that Sylas’ grasp of the Ice-Poison Runes was too deep.
There was a divide between Skills and Runes, but when they worked together, the result was heart-shuddering. That was especially so when Sylas began to take control of the Runes that formed in his Arctic King’s Domain to target General Aleen’s steed directly.
This turned what should have been a 50 Damage per second Skill into one that was double that!
By the time General Aleen had closed the distance, his horse was already beginning to snort out billows of ice-cold breath.
A malevolent light glowed in General Aleen’s gaze as he smashed his glaive down. Rather than aiming for Sylas, its hilt slammed against the ground, activating a Skill that disrupted the Domain.
—
[Guiz General’s Aura (FFF+) (Skill)]
[Suppress the Skills of enemies by 50%. Disrupt Skills once every 10 seconds]
—
A ridiculous Skill indeed.
Unfortunately, useless.
Sylas’ visualization spread, and his telekinesis forcefully countered. He took control of the Runes of his Skill at the same time, stabilizing them.
General Aleen ended up wasting a large amount of Aether for little to nothing in return. Sylas’ Domain only weakened for a slight moment before it solidified once again.
The General was obviously taken aback by this. This was the first time he had ever seen his disruption Skill, well… disrupted. Sylas’ nimbleness in disrupting Skills was simply much greater, and he didn’t need to passively rely on the system to control his Skills any longer…
Not ever since he awakened Rune Breath.
The Beast Totem behind Sylas’ eyes flared.
Speed. That was what he was thinking about. He needed to take either the General or his steed out before either realized what they were dealing with.
So he went all out.
<Psychedelic Punch>.
A piercing green aura was enveloped by several Runes of icy blue. They melded together, overlapped upon one another, and boosted one another even further.
<Psychedelic Punch> scaled with the power of Sylas’ visualization, and it alone was able to give him over a +100% boost to his Strength. But then on top of that, his Boxing Comprehension had reached FFF+, giving him an additional 50% boost on top of that.
The horse had already been stalled for three seconds with Sylas targeting it. Even if it had Constitution at or over 1000, it had already lost a third of that.
Normally, Sylas’ blow would be unable to break its Defenses, but…
562 Strength boosted by 100%…
1124 Strength boosted by 60%…
1798 Strength.
Sylas felt practically every ligament in his arm snap, and the tendons would have followed suit had he not worked on his flexibility so much.
The fist shuttled through the air, riding Basic Aetherflow so quickly that most didn’t see what happened until after it was over.
BANG!
The head of the horse exploded, and General Aleen fell from its back.
