Chapter 349: Another Big Theft
Chapter 349: Ch 349 : Another Big Theft
Following Adam’s advice, Sunny did not hesitate. He was no longer just a king defending a castle; he was a cosmic reaper gathering the harvest of universes.
He moved with an unmatched efficiency, his consciousness expanding through the sub-layers of space like a sprawling root system.
First, he reached for Veridia, the heart of his mortal empire. Then, he swept through the Subspace Universe, the intricate Universe of Cards, and the spiritual Universe of Cultivation.
With every world he folded into the Elsewhere of his soul, Sunny felt his fundamental weight shift.
It wasn’t the explosive, overwhelming surge he had felt when capturing the City of Gods.... that city alone held the six billion Gods... but it was a constant, stabilizing density.
The faith of quadrillions of mortals began to hum in his veins, a rhythmic thrumming that sounded like the heartbeat of a universe.
Inside his cosmic anatomy, the dark-matter transformation surged forward. The cosmic skin crawled up from his arms, consuming his shoulders, and began to lace across his chest and back.
’I should return now,’ Sunny thought, his mind flickering to Adam’s struggle. ’It would have been better if I could have captured the entire multiverse in one sweep, but the resistance from Belial is too high.’
He was about to tear a rift back to the battlefield when a sudden realization hit him, ’how did i forget about it’ he thought, covering his eyes in shame.
"The Realm of Advancement," Sunny whispered.
This was more than just a realm; it was a multiverse designed from sewing all the planets and stars together into a single plain.
Sunny didn’t waste a second. He projected his God’s Domain until it encircled the entire Realm.
He triggered the Size Manipulation talent once more. The massive, sprawling Realm of Advancement groaned as its size was being rewritten.
It began to collapse inward, shrinking past the size of a world, a city, a grain of sand, until it was nothing more than a vibrating, golden molecule.
Sunny teleported to the physical coordinates where the Realm had once stood.
The molecule hung in the void, a concentrated speck of infinite history. He reached out with his cosmic hand, and as the speck touched his palm, it vanished.
BOOM.
The integration was violent. A literal multiverse was now anchored to his soul.
Sunny felt the cosmic bloodline in his body roar like a caged beast being set free. The dark-matter skin surged down from his waist, consuming his thighs and knees.
Now, apart from his neck, his head, and his feet, Sunny’s entire body had turned cosmic. He was a walking nebula, a being of the Real Void draped in the robes of a God.
Sunny exhaled, his breath shimmering with starlight. He was mentally exhausted.
Decreasing the scale of an entire multiverse to a molecular level required a level of focus that would have turned any other God’s brain to ash.
"No rest for the wicked," Sunny whispered, his voice sounding deeper, as if spoken through a canyon.
With a thought, he tore a hole in the fabric of the void and stepped back into the war zone.
The Real Void: The Court of Whispers
In the Real Void, the sudden disappearance of a second, even larger mass from Lady Sansa’s bubble sent the Nihilium Court into a state of absolute frenzy. It was no longer a minor theft; it was a systemic collapse of space.
"Massive spatial displacement detected!"
"Mass equal to a medium size multiverse has disappeared from the bubble!"
"Is the bubble being annihilated from the inside?"
The Royal Overseers clamored for answers, but Sansa remained secluded. Protected by her father’s influence and her own formidable silence, she refused to acknowledge the uproar.
She sat in her emerald garden, her eyes closed, feeling the emptiness within her own bubble being filled by the rising power of her nephew and chosen one of the void.
The weight she lost, he gained. It was a sacrifice she made with a quiet joy.
The Battlezone: The Void
Back in the vacuum between the universes, the struggle had reached a desperate peak.
Adam was standing firm, his skin glowing with the last reserves of his mana, but the air around him was thick with the bloody mist of his own effort.
Then, the violet-gold rift tore open.
Sunny stepped out, and the pressure in the nearby void instantly tripled. He didn’t look like the man who had left just minutes ago.
His aura was no longer a light; it was a gravitational force. His robes vibrated with a fundamental, heavy power, and his chest glowed with the internal light of the six billion souls he carried.
"I’m back," Sunny said. His voice didn’t travel through the air... it vibrated directly into the marrow of their bones.
Adam turned, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "Your transformation is..."
He stopped mid-sentence. Sunny’s gaze had accidentally locked onto him.
The sheer weight of Sunny’s new form bore down on Adam like a collapsing star. The Ex-God King’s knees buckled.
Sunny continued to look at Adam, waiting for him to finish his thought, but the longer he looked, the more the pressure intensified.
"Umm... Cosm-os... c-an you... look somewhere else?" Adam managed to wheeze out. He looked like a man trying to speak while being crushed by a mountain.
Sunny blinked, realizing his error. He hadn’t yet adjusted to his new "Mass."
He quickly averted his eyes and suppressed his aura, allowing Adam to slump forward and catch his breath.
"Sorry, Adam," Sunny said softly. "I’m still... Adjusting."
Sunny turned his attention to the distant figure of Belial.
The Demon Lord was no longer laughing. He was struggling. The sixteen clones, who were linked to Sunny’s soul, had undergone a simultaneous evolution the moment the Realm of Advancement was integrated.
Their skin was no longer paper-thin; it was obsidian, shimmering with the same cosmic as Sunny’s body. They were moving with a speed that defied Belial’s senses.
Sunny chuckled, a dark, resonant sound. "Let’s see what cards he has hidden under his sleeves now."
Belial’s mind was a storm of panic. ’My lies... they aren’t taking hold? Why? I told them they were fast! I told them they were strong!’
He looked at the clones. His Law was hitting them, but it was sliding off. It was as if they had become too powerful for a lie to move.
You can lie about the weight of a feather, but you cannot lie about the existence of the sun when it is burning your eyes.
"I think I gained more than what i initially guessed, from capturing the Realm of Advancement," Sunny whispered.
"That... was what I was trying to say," Adam said, finally standing upright and wiping blood from his chin. His tone was filled with a profound, weary thankfulness.
"I nearly lost one of my life just now, Sunny. But the moment you took that the city of Gods... the skin of your clones returned to normal, and then it turned into something... beyond. It surpassed even the limits of my Resilience."
Adam looked at the sixteen cosmic warriors currently pummeling the Lord of Lies. "Their aura... it skyrocketed at a pace I didn’t think was possible."
Adam let out a short, dry laugh. "I used to think choosing Endor for the God Maker artifact.... was my greatest choice. But seeing you now... I think your fate is so immense that even if I hadn’t chosen that planet, you would have found your way to this throne. You are an inevitability, Cosmos."
Sunny looked at the old King, his cosmic eyes softening behind the mask. "Not really, Adam. Without your help, and without the system you gave me at the start, without the God’s eye... it would have taken me eons to reach this point. I owe you more than a few lives."
Sunny turned back to Belial, his Void Hand beginning to pulse with a dark, violet light.
"Now," Sunny said, "Belial has been talking about Lies and Truth all day. I think it’s time I show him what happens when the Void decides that neither one matters anymore."
