God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!

Chapter 367: Returning Back to Base

Chapter 367: Returning Back to Base

The two assassins were between level 55 and 60. They were relatively high level anywhere in this world, which meant they were probably among the Eastern Camp’s finest assets.

In a short span of time, Gabriel had dealt massive damage to the Eastern Camp without attacking them directly.

First it was Bai Young and Kairos, then Dante, Garret, and finally the two assassins.

Gabriel briefly considered luring them out one after another, weakening the enemy before a full confrontation, but he genuinely doubted they would dare send anyone out again.

Shaking those thoughts off, his gaze shifted to the hyenas lying sprawled across the ground, unconscious. Out of habit, he decided to start with the weakest enemies on the scene, the monsters, before moving on to Garret and the assassins’ corpses.

Seraphina, standing not too far away, observed with a keen expression on her face. There was something strangely fascinating about watching Gabriel strip corpses of their essence. She did not know whether it was her vampiric nature or simply the idea of growing stronger with each extraction that excited her.

Under her watchful gaze, the red haired man moved from corpse to corpse, each time calmly uttering the word, extraction.

One after another, the corpses withered away right before her eyes.

When he was done, Gabriel reviewed his extraction summary.

Extraction Summary:

Short swords, curved blades, hunting daggers, throwing knives, bone daggers, reinforced spears, iron tipped spears, light shields, bucklers, composite bows, short bows, arrow bundles, crossbow bolts, wrist blades, claw gauntlets, spiked clubs, weighted maces, scout cloaks, reinforced boots, leather armor sets, basic stealth skill scroll, minor evasion skill scroll, night vision skill scroll, fatigue resistance skill scroll, coordination passive imprint, reaction boost passive imprint, low grade beast core, mid grade beast core, weapon maintenance kit, basic trap kit.

"Not bad. This would help the group a lot."

While extracting, he had deliberately avoided stat increases. Not because he did not want to become stronger, but because his priority was empowering his troops.

The state of the camp after Dante’s attack was still fresh in his mind. If only his people had been slightly stronger, things might have turned out differently.

"What are you thinking?" Seraphina asked, noticing the change in his mood.

"It is nothing important. I was just thinking of ways to better empower my troops," he replied.

"About that, you can always use the Tower as well," she pointed out.

"Yes, I plan to," Gabriel said. "But only after we deal with the Eastern and Northern Camps. Otherwise, they will not be able to train peacefully."

Seraphina did not respond, but she felt his reasoning made sense.

"For now, we arm them through my extraction," Gabriel said, his eyes flashing as his gaze settled on Garret’s corpse.

Out of habit, he placed a hand on the body and muttered, "Extract."

[Ding! Do you wish to extract the target? Cost: 30 EP]

"Yes."

At his confirmation, the distinctive purple screen that only appeared when he used his talent immediately lit up before him.

[Please choose what to extract]

[Water Manipulation(Elite)]

[Minor Water Shield]

[Water Affinity Boost]

The options were not bad at all. However, Gabriel was not easily swayed. He carefully considered which option would be most suitable for the core members of his guild.

After briefly weighing their battle styles and classes, he made his decision and selected the first option.

Water Manipulation.

He did not bother checking the full description and quickly stored it before moving on to the next corpse, the level 55 assassin.

[Killing Intent Suppression (Elite)]

[Assassin Bound Dagger (Silver)]

[Agility +10]

Killing Intent Suppression immediately caught his attention. It was likely the reason they had struggled to sense the assassin’s presence earlier.

The skill itself was self explanatory and extremely useful. Even when assassins used concealment skills, faint traces of killing intent could often still be detected.

With this, that weakness would be completely eliminated.

Considering their current objective of eliminating key figures from the Eastern Camp, the skill would be invaluable.

Gabriel selected Killing Intent Suppression. A burst of purple light followed, and a scroll materialized in his hand before he stored it away.

The final corpse belonged to the second assassin.

From him, Gabriel extracted a special treasure.

A Silver rank treasure, the Shadow Guard Bracelet. It automatically deployed a defensive barrier when lethal damage was detected. The barrier had a durability of roughly 200.

The most unique aspect of the treasure was that it required no manual activation. If Gabriel did not already possess Indestructible Body, Iron Body, and the Guard Robe, he would have added it to his own defensive arsenal.

When he was finished, he straightened up and briefly checked his inventory. Several items and skills awaited proper sorting, but now was not the time.

"Let us keep moving," he said. "We did not come out here for just one group."

Seraphina shrugged lightly. "Lead the way."

What followed was uneventful.

They moved deeper into the wilderness, cutting through pockets of monsters scattered across plains and sparse forests. Packs of beasts and wandering mutated creatures posed little threat.

Gabriel killed efficiently, without flourish or excessive skill usage.

Most of the time, a single punch or lash was enough to decapitate a monster. Seraphina followed behind, finishing off anything that attempted to flee or swarm.

There was no need for elaborate strategy or coordination. It felt closer to routine work.

By the time the sun dipped lower and shadows stretched across the land, Gabriel had extracted dozens of corpses.

When he finally stopped, it was not due to exhaustion, but because he had gathered enough.

"That should be sufficient for now," he said, turning toward the direction of the camp. "Let us head back."

After collecting their haul, the human and vampire duo did not linger. They quickly sprinted back toward the base, disappearing into the distance.
