Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 2215 Found the One in Need

Chapter 2215 Found the One in Need

Medium Sized Creek City

I stood on the terrace, looking toward the city. The powerful presences never left. Their gazes were locked onto the City Lord’s office.

None of them dared to probe further. Just then, a middle-aged man wearing a City Lord uniform approached me.

In the blink of an eye, the middle-aged man appeared next to me. I turned around and looked at him. His strength was at the Supreme Level.

"Magic Lord Vincent? I’m Ben, the City Lord of Creek City," the middle-aged man introduced himself.

Hearing that, I smiled and said, "It’s good to meet you. I felt the presence of a Forbidden Wizard and several Magic Lords in the city."

"Do you know their identities?" I asked.

Hearing that, City Lord Ben nodded his head.

"They are from the Magic City. I know their identities. There is no falsehood in it," Ben replied.

Hearing that, I was taken aback. I used the power of the system to confirm his authenticity. The system stated that the City Lord was not lying.

I nodded to him.

"Okay, I came here to make a short stop. You can return to your work. There is no need to worry about me," I said to him.

City Lord Ben heard that and left the area. He instructed the officials not to disturb me.

The gazes of the Forbidden Wizard and the Magic Lords disappeared. They began to mind their own business after seeing the City Lord.

I raised my eyebrows. Passersby were noticing that someone was standing on the terrace.

[Ding! Emotions of helplessness, yearning, and deep reverence detected.]

I heard the system’s voice in my mind. Hearing it, I was stunned. I asked the system to trace the source.

My gaze swept over the passersby as the system guided me. Then, my gaze fell on the beggars on the street.

With the system’s help, I located the person. The person was looking toward me as well.

I confirmed with the system that this was the person radiating the emotions. I frowned. Don’t tell me it’s the same person who sent me the letter.

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes.

Swoosh!

The next second, I vanished from the spot. When I reappeared, I was already standing before the beggar.

Before the beggar could realize it, I grabbed her and appeared inside the system space. It happened in a split second. No one noticed anything.

Inside the system space, I dropped the beggar onto the blue grid floor. I found out that the beggar was a young woman.

Her strength was at the Level-9 limit, just one step away from becoming a Supreme Wizard.

Her face was covered in dirt. Her short black hair was messy, and she was wearing oversized wizard robes.

I grew curious, wondering why she was giving off such emotions. Right now, I saw the fear in her eyes. She was looking around the place with confusion.

"Ahem," I coughed to draw her attention.

She turned toward me.

I removed my white mask and looked at her.

"I am Magic Lord Vincent Carey from the Silver Tower," I said.

Hearing that, the young woman sighed in relief. Her fear and insecurity were gone.

"Wizard Vincent, I was the one who sent you the letter earlier. I need your help. You have to save my family," the female wizard stammered.

I heard her words clearly and was taken aback. I had thought it was a trap. I had even killed five Magic Lords before coming to the city.

I quickly figured out the situation and looked at her.

"Who are you? What happened? Sort out your thoughts before telling me," I said.

"Cough," the young woman coughed up blood.

Pfff!

Blood splattered across the blue floor. Seeing that she was injured, I sifted through my healing resources before taking out a Supreme-level healing item.

"Take this and consume the healing magic resource little by little. It’s a Supreme-grade one," I said to her.

The woman accepted the grass-like healing magic resource and began to eat the blades of healing grass one by one.

Swoosh!

The healing energy entered her body. The healing mana began to heal her internal injuries, and her complexion started getting better.

Seeing this, I decided to wait. It was rare to meet someone from my former organization. The Magic World was vast.

It would take decades to travel from one region to another, so I was happy to meet someone from my former organization.

Time went by.

The young woman was able to cure her internal injuries. She was able to handle the Supreme-level healing power.

Seeing that, my eyes flashed with appreciation.

...

Outside

City Lord Ben found out that Magic Lord Vincent was nowhere to be seen. He assumed Magic Lord Vincent had left the city.

Only then did he heave a sigh of relief. He was worried that the medium-sized city would be flooded by an influx of people.

The fame of Magic Lord Vincent was immense. Not only was he popular in the Magic City, but he was also well-known outside the Mage Union territory.

Now that Vincent was gone, he could focus on his daily work. Meanwhile, the Forbidden Wizard and the Magic Lords in the city learned the news as well.

They, too, sighed in relief.

...

Magic City

The Wizard Towers were following the updates on Vincent Carey. Knowing that he had left the city, the spies responsible for collecting information left their posts as well.

Some of them headed toward Crystal City, while others went to the border town.

They assumed Magic Lord Vincent had some business to attend to.

...

Barrett Family

Holden Barrett learned the news as well. The first thing he did was leave the family estate. He had decided to depart from the territory of the Magic City.

He was not going to practice inside the safe compounds of the family. He had been following the journey of Wizard Vincent.

He knew Wizard Vincent had achieved a breakthrough by undertaking a long-term mission outside. Wizard Vincent had not stayed in the Magic City territory for a long time.

The family head and other elders had tried to stop him, but he didn’t listen to them. They gave up in the end. This time, Holden didn’t even bring Butler Gideon with him.
