Chapter 483 Marigold in Spirit World
Chapter 483 Marigold in Spirit World
The arrival of Idalia Marigold in the Spirit World was like a comet crashing on earth.
It detonated, sending a pulse of searing, scalding waves of
golden-white fire that flooded the entire Dominion of Shadow like a tide of an unending storm.
The souls inside the domain squealed, whimpered, then ultimately burned into smouldering ashes before being whisked away by the simple aura of Marigold, bloating a part of the Dominion like a blanket of death.
The woman stood there, in the middle of a spluttering ground of molten lava, her vitiligo body naked except her private parts.
Her hair was set aflame, moving behind her like the crawling of a hunting flaming beast. Her eyes bore seven distinct pupils - each with different colors and shapes - transfixed on the mass of moving, twisting, crawling shadows in front of her.
Idalia's face split into a cold, wolfish grin, her teeth needle-like, filling her mouth completely like a monster in human flesh.
She parted her lips to speak, but halted, frowning before opening her eyes wide as a golden nail ripped through the air like a hot knife on flesh, halting an inch from her.
The nail was covered by a regal aura of crimson-gold. It pulsed like a living, breathing thing, then something erupted from it.
Idalia Marigold watched this scene as if it was occurring in slow motion. She could have stopped whatever was about to happen a dozen times. However, curiosity and arrogance got the better of her.
Just like that, a voice boomed through the Dominion of Shadow - quiet, steady and filled with unending mischievousness,
"I knew you would never abandon me, mother-in-law. And you came at the perfect time. You see that Shadow in front of you? She wants to hurt your daughter, Apollonia. Well, you know what to do? Just teach her a lesson for daring such an outrageous thing."
"And goddamn for the landing, Mother-in-law! You have a flair for the camera! You and I will be best buddies, I can see it already!"
The voice barked a laugh, then...
"This message is written personally by Noah, the best son-in-law in the whole existence. Dare I say the best husband too?"
"By the way, hello Shadow!"
The voice disappeared next, drowning the space around in a suffocating silence - it was immediately broken by the loud, nuke-like laughter of Idalia Marigold.
It was so loud that the air itself shook like a man hammered on an anvil.
She stopped only after some good minutes, her eyes tearing up in the deep, rare emotion of amusement.
"Are you done laughing, Daughter of Prime?" Shadow's voice boomed, sounding calm and still like a hidden shadow waiting to strike.
"Oh," Idalia Marigold exclaimed, genuinely surprised, "I truly forgot about you, Shadow! Hahaha, understand me, I have never witnessed someone as shameless as this Noah."
Her laughter died down, her face still holding a grin,
"But hey, Shadow O Shadow, don't tell me you believe him, do you? That would be too gullible of you."
"Does it matter?" Shadow said, the mass of writhing, hissing shadows swirling upon themselves, condensing into the shape of a woman.
"You attacked my Dominion and killed most of my souls. Tell me, Daughter of Prime, how do you want to die?"
"Will you give me the death I seek?" Marigold retorted, smiling, fire licking her body like a Light Torcheur.
Shadow's body condensation was finally completed. She stood there, a giant of a woman, skin immaculate black, glistening like the purest thing to ever grace reality.
Her hair was long, levitating behind her as if disdaining to touch the very ground; black just like her skin.
Her eyes, in contrast, were adorned with white-purple irises and pupils slitted like those of a dragon, black in color.
The pupils were constantly pulsing; and one with good perception would sense how each pulse rhythmed with the very breath of the Dominion.
A horrendous power spilled out of her continuously, each second making the surroundings darker and darker; the shadows were stirring up, and their hostile gazes were all fixed on Idalia.
In one frightening instant, the Dominion of Shadow was split into two halves. A part where seven suns rose to the sky with searing arrogance, glaring the earth beneath furiously. Another part where nothing except shadows - so old, so abnormal and so uniquely twisted Marigold's grin was flattered - dwelled.
And wrapped by those shadows like an armor was a woman, and her eyes were ready to bury into oblivion the daughter of a Prime.
"You came inside my home uninvited." Shadow grated, her robes made of shadows fluttering as she walked, "I can at least allow you to die in
the way you wish."
"Unfortunately," Idalia interjected, taking her stance, hands fisting, "the way I wish to die cannot be delivered by you."
She winked at Shadow,
"I wish to die by being choked by the dick of my husband, after all. Do you have a dick, Shadow?"
Shadow paused, then cocked her head, smiling mysteriously for the first time, "Not your brother?"
Idalia needed a latency time for the words to register inside her mind.
But once they did, her whole countenance shifted as fast as the
loyalty of an opportunist.
No words were spoken. Just a raw growl that seemed to shake asunder the air itself, as Idalia sliced open space, leaving behind a trail of scorched reality, arriving in front of Shadow.
The time needed for Idalia to pull back her right hand, balling her fist - her immaculate muscles bulging, contracting, steaming like a burning furnace - and strike the temple of Shadow seemed to happen in one frightening instant with no delay.
The delayed sound that occurred at the impact alone reached all the Dominions of The Principality of the Primus Universe.
Then came the true consequences of the punch of the Daughter of the Primordial of Light...
...that made half of the shadow part burn in wailing cries. And that,
that was enough to rattle the inside of both Justicia and Apollonia, memories of a past long forgotten resurfacing.
Shadow burst into a rain of shadows. However, Idalia's stance didn't falter, her eyes were like those of a beast.
She took another stance, her words echoing as the shadows attacked
her from all sides, a chorus of voices rising, their speeches tightening Idalia's heart like a bloody fist,
"Axis of The Seven Origins Light, Sixteen Ladder - The Bra-!"
"Shadows of Eternity."
Idalia's voice was drowned by Shadow's, and the Celestial found
herself in a completely different realm.
Unperturbed, she flickered her finger. Seven suns rose.
The battle continued.
Simultaneously, in the Dominion of Love That Was Unloved, Maryam and Selene had just received the words of Yuki.
That, coupled with the shockwave of power that slammed into them
not long ago, made the two mothers know better than to take Yuki's
words lightly.
However,
"My Maryam, oh my beautiful Maryam, don't go!" Love cried, then
snapped her head at Selene, "You, too, lovely, sweet Selene. My heart
is big, my love even bigger! I can hold both of you inside my heart sick
with desire!" Selene's lips twitched, looking at the pink pig, with a pink princess-like dress, staring at them with an eerie, genuine love inside her eyes.
Selene didn't want to be rude. But with how Love was being
persistent, she was about to say words she knew she shouldn't. Fortunately, Maryam was here. And contrary to her, she was used to such open displays of affection from Love.
So Maryam smiled at her, causing Love to squeal like a pig - which
she was, honestly - and blush like a shy maiden - which she was not,
honestly. "Selene has a lover. And I... I too, maybe, yes maybe," she paused, smiling faintly, "anyway I am digressing. The thing is, Love, me and Selene are already taken. But we can give you a chance."
"Tell me!" Love yelled, eyes serious, "I will never give up on you two!"
Maryam grinned, and Selene sighed tiredly, knowing the intention of her... of her what?
Selene decided not to think of it.
"Then you have only one thing to do. And it's to come with us to meet
our husband..."
"It's your son." Selene chirped.
"...anyway, as I said, our husband and son, and you can go discuss it
with him. Maybe you can make him give up on us?"
Love stared at them for a good moment, then yelled, "What are you waiting for? Guide the way! Guide me toward my rival!"
Another shockwave slammed onto them.
Love yelled louder, "DAMN IT! LET'S KILL THE CULPRIT FOR THESE ANNOYING
INTERRUPTIONS FIRST!"
"Nope!" Maryam held Love by her collar, lifting her up, causing the
pig's pink skirt to flutter, grinning at her,
"We go now."
Selene's ring glowed, and they disappeared from the Dominion of
Love, her voice echoing behind, "Wait! Wait! Eat! I need to eat first!!"
