Chapter 497 - Harusu
Chapter 497 - Harusu
The Origin Will watched with surprise at Noah, her face red with sudden embarrassment at his words.
But then, looking behind him, her eyes rested on the scornful, disdainful face of Diatah sneering at her. Instantly, her demeanor shifted 180 degrees.
'Stupid Harusu!' She berated herself, biting her lower lip, "This man is playing with you! Can't you see? His face is untrustworthy!'
At that realization, she slapped the hand of Noah, causing him to stagger a couple of steps back from the suddenness of the action.
The Origin Will, Harusu, purposely took two steps back, looking at Noah with defiance in her eyes made of smoke and ashes.
"What was that for?" Noah asked, more curious than irritated by the slap.
However, Harusu didn't deign to answer. She had been too fast to fall into Noah's sweet words just now, caused by so many years alone in her realm.
She personally didn't even remember the last time she appeared in front of another being, let alone spoke to them.
She was the type to prefer always staying at home, but that caused her social skills and anxiety to reach a level no immortal being should ever reach.
She knew, and she was deeply embarrassed by it. Yet nothing could be done. That was why the Origin Will learned to be cautious; cautious of anything and everything.
Yet she almost fell into such an obvious trap.
'Cautiousness, Harusu! Don't forget your promise, nothing is worth
getting you in danger if it could be avoided.
And right now, Noah was danger. And Harusu would do everything to put the man away from her.
Finally managing to calm herself, the Origin Will looked more steadily at both Noah and Diatah.
"What do you want from me?" She grated, voice naked of any excitement she just showed, "I will give it to you, so that you can go away, as long as it's not life threatening to me."
Her eyes focused more on Noah now, "You have already gotten the full authority of the Primus Universe." Her face creased with spiteful anger, "What else do you want?"
Clearly, the Origin Will was calling Noah greedy. And the man himself knew. Yet he didn't answer, still surprised by how fast the Origin Will switched attitude.
"Why are you surprised?" Diatah sneered behind him, "Do you think anyone should fall for you?"
"Actually," Noah squinted out a smile, giving her a sidelong glance, "that's exactly what I think."
"That makes me wonder if you are a fool or arrogant or a
self-centered being." Taraji paused, then continued, "You are all of them, in fact."
"Yet you love me."
"I barely bear your presence."
"That's love. Don't worry, you will get to accept it." Noah gave her a wink.
Diatah ignored it and looked back at the Origin Will. She was learning to realize it by now, it was better to ignore Noah sometimes.
'No, most of the time, even. She added, suppressing a click of her tongue.
Noah whirled toward the Origin Will now.
"You seem to not fancy problems." He said, "And problems you will not have if you decide to bind yourself to me."
"What would that entail?"
"I will not hurt you, you will not hurt me." Noah said, "A sort of alliance between us."
"I don't want to be allied with you." Harusu shook her head, "You smell like trouble."
"My problems will be mine to solve. They will have nothing to do with you." The Prince said, this time with a serious face, "This, I can
promise you."
His eyes glowed coldly, "I like to pay my debt with my own hands."
Harusu and Diatah didn't know what happened, but the two women could feel that these words of Noah were targeted towards someone or something.
At that, the two couldn't help but be slightly curious.
Noah was easygoing, smiling and seldom serious. But Diatah knew the absurdity of this man who made a member of the Four Original Races marry him. And Harusu knew the dreadfulness of someone who stole her own authority in her own domain.
None of them liked Noah for their own reasons, but they had to
admit...
...they would think twice - or maybe even thrice - before choosing to be the enemy of such a man.
"Too troublesome and stubborn. I will lose my peace, and I will be in danger if I continue to refuse. Clearly, he won't give up! Harusu thought, before finally, reluctantly even,
"So be it."
She accepted, staring deep into Noah, "But only if you swear to never
bother me. Do not even come to see me."
"That's harsh." Noah tilted his head, "What if I come to miss you?"
Harusu's immortal heart skipped a beat, but she reminded herself immediately that Noah was just playing with her; the type of being who liked to utter falsehoods more than anything.
So gathering herself swiftly,
"Don't miss me." She grated, looking at him threateningly.
"I will promise to never bother you." Noah said, raising a finger
upward, "But not to come to see you. That's my one and only offer.
Take it, it's better than nothing."
"One time every thousand years." Harusu added, "That's my proposal.
I won't go neither lower nor higher."
Noah smiled, then nodded, "What is time for us? I accept."
Once more, just like Diatah, Noah stretched his hand in a handshake,
"I am many things, but for now, just know that I am Noah Vaelgrim. Just recently, I became the Throne of the Primus Universe Spirit
World."
Harusu hesitated for a moment, wondering if it was some kind of
tactic to do something to her. Deciding to be cautious, she created a hand made of smoke and ashes around her to grasp Noah's hand.
The Prince only smiled, saying nothing of the rude action.
"I am Harusu Nafissatou Fall," she said, "The Origin Will of The Perfected Reality of Gaia. I am her first ever created being. In a sense, her first child."
She said the last words with pride.
Behind Noah, Diatah watched Harusu with pity, while Noah himself
said nothing about it.
"Must be quite a thing" He praised with a smile.
"Of course." She nodded proudly to herself, "Now let's finish this, I
have things to do."
"You mean hiding?"
"Yes, how do you kn-!" Harusu immediately halted her words, then
scowled at the mocking face of Noah, "No, not hiding. Training."
"Yes, of course."
Harusu clicked her tongue, and Noah began the binding process,
DING!!
Thus, the Origin Will of the Spirit World of the whole reality became
one of Noah's bounded beings.
<You can only obtain one thing from Harusu Nafissatou Fall.>
<You have obtained the Aspect: Unlimited Soul Power.>
And so, Noah smiled. He raised his hand, closing it tightly into a fist.
Slowly, mechanically, he opened back the fist, showing a small amount of white dust glittering on his palm.
He blew the white dust off with a soft exhale, and it scattered across
the whole expanse.
And with that...
"Let the Souls return to their rightful home."
...the whole Principality of Primus Universe was reborn.
