Chapter 261: She Will Definitely Return Alive

Steams of arrows passed by, and the magical beast took two steps back, waving its wings continuously. A black vortex formed before it, and all the arrows flew into the vortex.

“You couldn’t help her even if you went, let’s teleport out safely now so that we can live up to her expectations.” Mu’rong Qing said with a sad expression.

It was absolutely a lie for them to say that they weren’t afraid of death, but it was impossible for them to survive in an ignoble way either.

Yu Qing Qian lured the Spirit Marshal-level magical beast away for their safety, they also wanted to rush over like Huo Li Ruo, and die together.

But that definitely would fail Yu Qing Qian’s expectations and actions. They would definitely die if they went, but with her methods, there might still be a glimmer of hope.

As long as she escaped that Spirit Marshal-level magical beast, Yu Qing Qian should no longer be in danger. With her intelligence and speed, there was still hope she could do it.

If they rushed over on impulse, they would definitely be doing a disservice, and might even hinder Yu Qing Qian from escaping the pursuit of the magical beast.  

Having been with Yu Qing Qian for so long, Xia Ying and the others knew her temperament very well. Since she’d rather put herself in a life-or-death crisis to lure the magical beast away, then it was because she wanted to leave a chance of survival to them first.

They weren’t afraid of death, but they couldn’t make unnecessary sacrifices and die in vain. That would only turn Yu Qing Qian’s efforts into a joke.

Every member of the team right now wasn’t only moved, but also extremely worried. They never thought that one day, Yu Qing Qian would make such a selfless sacrifice for them.

¹The original is 黑**兽 (black ** beast). Not entirely sure why the middle 2 words were censored, but I have a guess that the middle 2 words are 色魔. So it’d be 黑色魔兽 (literally black-coloured magical beast). My guess is that because ‘色魔’ together can potentially be translated into something like ‘pervert’, so they censored it, even though the context is different. Which makes sense because whenever I translate the word ‘pervert’ in the context of ‘perversely strong’, the word 变态 is written as 变/态. I think that ‘/’ makes it so that it doesn’t get censored?
