Chapter 486: Meet (Two)

After a while, the man in the black brocade turned around.

He looked to be around thirty years old, and his gestures carried the aura of a superior. He looked nothing like Feng Chen—handsome, elegant, graceful, and dressed in noble clothes.

“Emperor Father.” Feng Chen’s cold gaze softened a little.

Yu Qing Qian also stepped forward, “Greetings to Great Emperor Feng Li.”

Great Emperor Feng Li smiled, “Take a seat.”

Feng Chen took Yu Qing Qian’s hand and found an empty seat to sit down. Great Emperor Feng Li sat opposite them.

“Emperor Father, this is Qian Qian whom I told you about.” Feng Chen spoke first, his eyes filled with tenderness as he looked at Yu Qing Qian.

He and Yu Jing knew each other, but they weren’t close friends in the past, and he also found that the other party hadn’t returned from travelling.

As for where he was travelling, that was a mystery. No forces had any trace of Yu Jing’s whereabouts, but this was more in line with that person’s temperament and mysteriousness.

Yu Qing Qian nodded with a smile, “I will tell you when my father returns from training.”

When she was in the Holy Academy, her father had sent a message once. Although he said that everything was safe and smooth, but she was constantly worried.

¹lao’zi is a more casual way of self-address used often by the father. Sometimes it’s also used by a male in an arrogant way. It can also just mean ‘father’.

Note: Hey guys, as I’ve received comments before from various people, I wanted to quickly address the navigation menu. Due to me needing to manually add the navigation menu for every post I upload, some navigation menus on the newer posts will be incomplete without the previous/next chapters.
