Chapter 51: Team

When the instructor saw that everyone had gathered, he took group 7’s people away from the gate of the Academy. 

Then everyone got into a carriage with a very large space, which could accommodate more than twenty people without being crowded at all. 

“From today onwards, I will serve as your team leader instructor for this training.” The burly young man said with a smile: “My name is Ba Hao, a Body Tempering Master.

“Our destination for this training is Thorn Valley Mountain Range. There, our Royal Academy’s base is at the foot of the mountain.”

He paused, then continued: “After arriving at the base, each group will be joined by an instructor from the Spiritual Plant Department. The two of us will send you to the mountain range to train.

“If you have any questions, you can ask them now.”

A young man raised his hand and asked: “Teacher, will we have any missions when we arrive at the Thorn Valley Mountain Range?”

“Of course. Your department’s head teacher should’ve informed you of the main purpose of this training.” Ba Hao said: “But what we are doing is called training. Which means you will not pass easily. You will all have missions on your shoulders and will need to compete with people in the other teams to achieve results.

“This time, the freshmen are divided into fifteen groups, entering the Thorn Valley Mountain Range together to complete the training experience, and you will be ranked after returning to the Academy.

“The top five groups will receive separate rewards from the Academy. The rewards will be very helpful for your cultivation in the next three months and may even affect your next training experience. So I hope you can take it seriously and be in your best state to deal with it.”

Then his tone changed, restraining the smile on his face, and said seriously: “From now on, you are a team. You will have to live or die together and make concerted efforts for a month in the Thorn Valley Mountains Range.

Hearing his words, many people who still despised Yu Qing Qian and the boy restrained their thoughts more.

He noticed that several Combat-class Spiritual Plant Masters and Body Tempering Masters didn’t seem to take it seriously and added: “You will know the importance of team unity after you begin training in the Thorn Valley Mountain Range.”

These people wouldn’t listen if he spoke too much. Only real combat could make them grow. 

“Instructor, will you and the other instructor follow us after we enter the Thorn Valley Mountain Range?” A delicate girl asked with a sweet smile. 

Ba Hao shook his head: “No. We will only take you to the starting point of the training experience in the Thorn Valley Mountain Range. In the first two days, we will teach you how to survive and cooperate. After that, you will be on your own.

“Don’t think that this is just an experience. When you entered the Academy, you all signed a contact where life and death is your own responsibility.”

He continued seriously: “Once you encounter danger, you may die, so don’t take any chances.”

They would protect in secret, but they wouldn’t say it openly. 

Unless there was a very sudden danger that wasn’t within the scope of the assessment, otherwise once them instructors took action, the entire team would have points deducted, and they would definitely miss out on ranking in the top five.
