Chapter 604: Rumours Were Indeed Unbelievable

The handsome man took Yu Qing Qian around the more remote alleys in the city for about an hour before they arrived at a quiet alley.

There was a sign for a tavern hanging deep in the alley. The location was very remote and there didn’t seem to be other guests who came.

When he walked into the tavern, no waiter came to greet him. An elderly man was dozing on a rocking chair in the yard.

Hearing footsteps, he opened his eyes and saw two of the same looking people. He was stunned for a moment, then quickly calmed down.

“Came to drink again?”

The handsome man said with a smile: “Yeah! Brought a friend to have a drink.”

Then he turned around and asked Yu Qing Qian: “What kind of alcohol do you want? Their best is the strong liquor here, the weak liquor here is also good.”

“Strong liquor.” Yu Qing Qian smelled a sweet aroma of alcohol as soon as she entered the door. She also liked this kind of tavern environment, and was in a good mood.

The elderly man didn’t ask much and stood up: “You two enter first, the alcohol will be delivered over soon.”

The handsome man nodded and led Yu Qing Qian to the backyard.

Yu Qing Qian didn’t expect that the backyard of the inn would be a relatively large lotus pond, with lotus flowers blooming in the pond, fish swimming in the clear water, and a beautiful scenery.

Yu Qing Qian didn’t feel awkward, but when she turned around, she turned into the appearance on the wanted poster.

“It’s really you!” The handsome man wasn’t too surprised.  

Soon, the elderly man came with two pots of alcohol and put them in the pond. The pots floated to the side of the boat with the water.

The handsome man picked up the alcohol and handed a pot to Yu Qing Qian, “This kind of alcohol tastes better if you drink it from the pot.”

“Sure!” Yu Qing Qian took the pot without hesitation, then removed the seal on it.

A strong and mellow aroma of alcohol spread, and Yu Qing Qian’s eyes lit up. She took the pot and swung her head back, taking a big mouthful.

The hot and spicy liquor went down to her abdomen, and it soon felt like a fire was burning in her dan’tian. Her limbs grew warm and it felt extremely comfortable.

“Truly good wine.”

Seeing this, the handsome man smiled, and he also took a big mouthful. He wiped his mouth with his hand casually, “Brother really is a straightforward person.”

The elderly man left after delivering the alcohol. The pond was very quiet and the two drank several mouthfuls of wine in succession, feeling refreshed.

Otherwise, how could he change into his own appearance and be so ostentatious.

She didn’t believe that the other party took the risk to invite her here to drink just because he was curious or admired her.

Yu Qing Qian had to sigh that rumours were indeed unbelievable.
