I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 793: Olivia corruption – r18

But the mana exchange had changed something inside her. The breakthrough to Archmage had left her body hypersensitive, and the promise she had made… it lingered like a chain around her neck.

She had given her word. If she backed out now, what would he think? What would he do? The fear of disappointing him, of losing the strange, complicated connection they now shared, warred with her moral instincts.

Olivia turned away from the mirror and paced slowly across the room. The large bed loomed in the center, its sheets freshly changed and inviting. She stopped beside it and caressed the soft fabric with her fingers.

What kind of mother am I? she thought, tears welling in her eyes. How can I even consider this?

Yet she did not move to change her clothes. She did not lock the door. She simply stood there… waiting.

Meanwhile, Julian himself was getting ready in his room. He had changed into a shirt of fine silk, paired with simple black trousers that allowed easy movement.

He now stood before the open window of his room, breathing the cold night air. Even the atmosphere was perfect for what was about to come. He smiled to himself, ran a hand through his hair, and walked out his door.

The time had finally come.

**

Outside,

The duchy had finally returned to silence, and the only noise was from the armor of the guards and a few maids exchanging late-night conversation. Julian made his way through the silent corridor, nodding occasionally at the knights who stood guard.

Before long, he finally reached the Duke’s and Duchess’s room. The first thing Julian did was look around and was surprised to see that there were no guards in sight. He had expected them to be there and had even thought of an excuse to post them in another location, but it seemed that it was no longer necessary.

Olivia must have done it, he thought with a smile on his face.

Impressed, Julian turned his full attention to the door. It was slightly open, and the warm light of the mana lamp could be seen from the outside.

Without wasting any time, he stepped inside and closed the door behind him. The room that opened up before him was even more opulent than he remembered from his earlier visit.

Under the warm glow of the chandeliers, the golden accents gleamed even more beautifully, creating an almost otherworldly atmosphere. The air carried a faint, intoxicating scent of lavender and something sweeter… perhaps the oils Olivia had used after her bath.

As soon as he stepped inside, his eyes immediately found her. Olivia stood before the mirror, applying something onto her face. His arrival seemed to catch her off guard, and she quickly placed whatever she was wearing onto the drawer and closed it.

“Kraven… you… you are here,” she whispered almost immediately.

Julian smiled as he looked at her flushed face. She was definitely preparing herself for his arrival and was probably too shy to admit it. He stepped further into the room and said,

“Yes, Mother. It was getting late, and I thought I should come here before Father comes.”

Olivia immediately turned to face away from him.

“Oh… I see.”

For a moment the only sound in the room was the soft crackle of the mana lamps and the distant, muffled footsteps of a night patrol somewhere far down the corridor. Julian let the silence stretch just enough to make her aware of it.

“The envoy’s visit went smoother than expected today,” he said casually, keeping his tone light as if this were any normal mother-son conversation.

“Father looked pleased. Even Liam had nothing sharp to say for once. The whole hall was buzzing after your breakthrough… they were saying that we are blessed.”

Olivia let out a soft, shaky laugh, still not turning around. Instead, she busied herself by adjusting a decorative vase on the side table, though it clearly didn’t need any adjusting.

“Blessed… yes. I still can hardly believe it myself. One moment I was struggling at the peak of Sovereign, and the next…”

She trailed off as her voice grew quieter.

“It was because of you, Kraven. Your mana… it changed everything so quickly.”

Julian took another step forward. Close enough now that he could smell the lavender oil on her skin more clearly.

“You worked hard for it, Mother. I only helped open the path. Your body accepted the change beautifully. You looked radiant standing beside Father on the platform today.”

She finally turned halfway, giving him her side profile. The light from the chandelier caught the elegant line of her neck and the soft curve of her cheek, which was still deeply flushed. The white nightgown she wore was modest in cut but clung to her mature figure in all the right places.

“I felt their eyes on me the entire time,” she murmured. “Some with admiration… others with questions. Vanessa kept smiling at me, but I could tell she was thinking hard. And Liam…”

She paused as a flicker of discomfort crossed her face.

“He stared more than usual. Louisa noticed too.”

Julian chuckled. “You have always known, haven’t you, Mother… the obsession Liam has with you. This was by no means a surprise, and seeing you return to your younger days seemed to reignite the flame within him.”

Olivia sighed at that… though she said nothing.

Julian reached out and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, feeling the slight tremble beneath his palm.

“Though I understand how he would have felt. I am your son… and still cannot help but feel strange when I look at you, Mother.”

Olivia’s breath hitched at the contact, and it was only fueled by his words that followed.

“Kraven… what are you saying?” she whispered, though she did not make any effort to pull away.

Julian’s smile deepened. He stepped even closer to her until his chest nearly brushed her back.

“That’s the truth, Mother. That’s how I have always felt.” He paused for a moment, then added with a low voice. “How does it feel? The new power inside you.”

Olivia took a deep breath as if calming herself. She knew he was provoking her, but her traitorous body was easily falling into his trap.
