I Am the Fated Villain

Chapter 1833

Chapter 1833. A Contingency Beyond the Plan, The Nine Heavens Fall One Layer After Another, The World Lord Appears

Within the courtyard residence, light flowed and swirled in Gu Changge’s palm.

Large quantities of Immortal Matter and Creation Matter emerged, radiating dreamy and fantastical brilliance. Within them intertwined all manner of inconceivable and indescribable auras from the myriad worlds.

His gaze was calm, yet within the depths of his eyes surged substances resembling primordial chaos. Then, a fissure-like opening appeared before him. Inside it, currents of spacetime collided as countless layers of the void rose and fell.

As he gathered the Immortal Matter and Creation Matter into that opening, particles of chaos began to be born and nurtured within.

In merely a single breath, a tiny world was created inside that void fissure. Then that tiny world continuously expanded, devouring the Immortal Matter and Creation Matter within the void as it transformed toward a medium-sized world.

Gu Changge closely observed the entire process. During this time, he glanced toward the distance, sank into contemplation, and then casually waved his hand, erasing all fluctuations and traces before him.

“In the current Boundless Expanse, opening a world that is not governed or enveloped by the Will of Heaven and Earth is basically impossible.”

“Unless the original sheet of paper is torn into two halves. But such a disturbance would be far too great. What if, instead, the original sheet was folded and overlapped?”

During this period, Gu Changge had been trying to leave behind a contingency beyond his existing plans. He had a premonition that unforeseeable variables would arise in the future regarding his grand scheme. Therefore, he needed to leave behind additional means to deal with them.

To ensure absolute certainty, he would even have to conceal this plan from himself beforehand.

Only by severing the corresponding portion from all his thoughts and consciousness could he guarantee that no flaws or weaknesses remained. It was just as during the period when he walked through the worlds in the identities of the Lord Acting on Heaven’s Behalf and the Demon Lord. At that time, he had truly hidden his original self-consciousness within the deepest depths of his soul.

“However, the time is not yet right.”

In the years that followed, an unimaginable war erupted between the Dark Race and the Nine Heavens Realm.

The surrounding universes and spacetime were shattered. Although the Gravekeeper’s strength had already reached the End of the Path realm, he was ultimately defeated by the combined assault of the Four High Priests of the Dark Race.

His blood splattered across endless spacetime, piercing through countless layers of dimensional void. His true body fell somewhere unknown.

With the Gravekeeper no longer guarding the Nine Heavens Realm, its gates were thrown wide open.

The native inhabitants, who had never experienced war or slaughter before, encountered such a scene for the first time and instantly descended into chaos.

The ruler of the First Heaven died almost immediately.

A black hand stretched out from the endless black mist and struck him directly. His body exploded into pieces, and even his true soul was instantly reduced to dust.

The vast First Heaven rapidly collapsed. Although many ancient beings awakened and emerged to resist, they simply could not withstand the overwhelming numbers of the Dark Race.

They surged forward like an endless tide.

Continents shattered one after another.

The stars orbiting nearby trembled before exploding.

Billions upon billions of living beings, together with their universes, disintegrated. Endless blood rain and dark matter poured down as though the heavens themselves had been torn apart.

It was a desperate and tragic war.

Ruins and corpses covered the land. Everything was devastated. Even heaven and earth seemed to be weeping.

Only the tomb where “Heaven” had once been buried in the First Heaven remained unchanged through eternity.

Cold, lifeless, desolate auras filled the region. Heavy mist drifted through the area, transforming into ribbon-like substances hanging across hills, mountains, and ravines.

Any laws or fluctuations that reached the place were instantly dispersed by an invisible force. Even Dao Realm cultivators standing there would be affected, losing their powerful cultivation and divine abilities.

The First Heaven suffered a catastrophic defeat.

The surviving cultivators and living beings attempted to flee to the Second Heaven. However, the ancient teleportation arrays had already been destroyed by the Dark Race.

Some Dao Realm experts tried sending out pleas for help, but whether the upper heavens ever received the messages remained unknown. Their screams were soon drowned as waves of dark creatures engulfed them.

Countless living beings fell into despair. Some even heard rumors that the Nine Heavens Realm had long since prepared for the Dark Race’s invasion.

The lower heavens had merely been sacrificed as cannon fodder to buy time.

The true army assembled to confront the Dark Race had supposedly already gathered above the Seventh Heaven.

Beyond the Nine Heavens Realm, within the layers of turbulent void currents, overlapping layers of spacetime unfolded.

Dark Race warships floated there.

Forged from immortal dark divine metal, they radiated indestructible brilliance that inspired terror and despair.

Within the towering black mist stood one terrifying figure after another whose auras had reached the Ancestor Dao Realm.

They resembled eternal demonic shadows.

After defeating the Gravekeeper, the Four High Priests did not leave. Instead, they remained within the Dark Army, intending to tear apart the Nine Heavens Realm in a single overwhelming assault.

Following the collapse of the Second Heaven, its inhabitants could do little but perish as well.

Yet even now, the Ancestor Dao Realm experts of the Dark Race had not taken action.

The upper echelons of the Dark Race continued to observe.

From Wu Yue, the Grand High Priest, they had learned that the Nine Heavens Realm possessed hidden strength beyond what appeared on the surface and therefore could not be underestimated.

Soon, the Third Heaven and Fourth Heaven also came under attack.

Spacetime passages pierced through every region of the Nine Heavens Realm.

Supreme experts from the remaining heavens were finally alarmed and emerged, leading the native inhabitants in resistance.

The war shook all existence. Chaos and turmoil spread everywhere. During this period, the Dark Source Land finally connected with the homeland of the Dark Creatures.

The Burial World Coffin opened. The coffin within was enveloped by endless hazy blood light. A rhythmic pulse, like a heartbeat, echoed throughout the Boundless Expanse and exploded in the ears of countless cultivators and living beings.

A blood-colored altar hung high above.

Magnificent and vast, it was reflected across all worlds of the Boundless Expanse and appeared in the skies of innumerable True Worlds and civilizations.

The boundless energy generated by the Dark Race’s Grand Sacrifice flowed continuously into it like blood-red galaxies spanning entire universes.

Within it, a vague supreme being could faintly be seen seated in meditation. The Burial World Coffin hovered above its head.

Endless blood light descended, completely shrouding the figure.

No one could approach. Even from immeasurable distances, one could still feel that vast and overwhelming power.

Before it, even Dao Realm experts would be crushed.

Ancient worlds drifted around the figure, radiating desolation, despair, death, and profound darkness.

This scene was reflected throughout the Boundless Expanse.

Countless living beings felt instinctive terror and awe. They almost could not stop themselves from kneeling in worship.

Everyone knew that the Dark Race had successfully summoned back the will of the former Lord Acting on Heaven’s Behalf.

The being who had once plunged the entire Boundless Expanse into darkness and despair was about to descend upon the world once more.

“Welcome back, my Lord!”

Within the Nightmare Demon Domain, endless voices erupted like roaring seas and mountains. The sound shook layer after layer of spacetime and universes.

Priests and Protectors gathered before the Hall of Heaven’s Proxy and knelt in worship.

Wu Yue, the Grand High Priest, raised her head and silently gazed at the vague figure enveloped in endless blood light. Beneath her robes, her face was filled with unwavering devotion.

“When will I be able to meet you again…”

She knew it was merely a projection rather than the true Lord Acting on Heaven’s Behalf. Yet she could not conceal the deep longing within her eyes.

Within a stream of void turbulence, inside a bronze palace that existed outside all spacetime—A pair of eyes slowly opened.

They were filled with slaughter and indifference. Yet those emotions quickly settled into a deathly stillness deeper than any abyss, as though endless ages could never stir even the slightest ripple.

The figure sat reclining upon the throne at the head of the hall. He wore a simple, faded gray robe. Even his hair was gray. An aura of slaughter surrounded him every moment.

As his gaze swept forward, the void before him fractured inch by inch, as if severed and erased by some supreme law.

If an Ancestor Dao Realm expert were present, they would be horrified to discover that all spacetime and years around him existed in a shattered and chaotic state.

In other words, he did not exist within any point of time or space. He had killed the time and space around himself.

Anything approaching him would be killed.

“What game are you trying to play?”

“The path you’ve chosen is different from all of ours?”

The gray-robed figure stared toward the changes occurring within the Dark Race’s homeland and fell into contemplation.

With a wave of his sleeve, gray killing energy spread outward. Several figures instantly appeared within the bronze hall. Each one was wrapped in overwhelming killing intent and brutality, having slaughtered countless universes and living beings.

Strands of blood light condensed upon them into tangible Dao Marks.

“Number Three, go to Mount Forgotten Immortal.”

the gray-robed figure ordered calmly.

Within the Hall of No Life, everyone except the Hall Master was addressed by a numerical designation.

Each number represented both status and strength.

As his command fell, one vague figure silently vanished from the hall.

The Hall Master of No Life was a being who wielded the Authority of Slaughter.

Across endless ages, very few matters were significant enough to awaken him personally.

Meanwhile, within the Ancient Hidden Civilization—On a barren and lifeless star, ripples of spacetime spread layer after layer.

Infinite divine radiance expanded outward like an ancient moon rising, dispersing darkness and shadows.

As the ripples calmed, a figure emerged. His entire body was cloaked in light.

A crown rested upon his head, and a scepter was held in his hand. With every step he took, tiny particles resembling grains of light spread and evaporated around him.

The dead star instantly became vibrant with life. Countless signs of living creatures began evolving and taking shape.

The figure also noticed the commotion within the Nightmare Demon Domain. Yet after a single glance, he withdrew his gaze.

Ahead of him lay a vast and profound star, concealed behind endless spacetime turbulence. As he arrived, a great path extended beneath his feet all the way into the depths of that star.

Ancestor Xu, Fate Lord, and an ordinary-looking figure with gray-white eyes and an aura of calamity around him had already been waiting there.

Sensing a certain supreme and indescribable aura, the expressions of all three changed slightly.

The ordinary-looking figure immediately raised his hand and summoned a pearl-like treasure. A misty aura spread from it, containing a power akin to a supreme authority.

The surrounding spacetime and universe were instantly stabilized to prevent collapse.

“That treasure should be the Primordial Chaos Pearl.”

“I never expected it to fall into your hands.”

Fate Lord recognized the strand of primordial aura within the treasure.

Although the Primordial Era was unimaginably distant, many objects from that age had survived. Every primordial artifact contained an essence that surpassed the present era and was closest to the pure and complete Dao.

Many believed that the Dao within the Boundless Expanse was incomplete. Only items formed during the Primordial Era retained traces of the original and complete Dao.

“Heh, I obtained it by chance.”

The ordinary-looking figure smiled casually.

For beings of their level, possessing a few primordial artifacts was hardly unusual. A vessel was required to accommodate Ancestor Xu, Fate Lord, and himself simultaneously.

Ordinary universes would have collapsed into dust from a single strand of their aura. If all three appeared together, such universes would instantly disintegrate.

“I hope the two of you are not deceiving me…”

At that moment, a vast and ethereal voice echoed throughout spacetime.

The vision of the three men blurred.

When everything became clear again, they found themselves standing before a figure dressed in sacred robes, wearing a crown and holding a staff.

“World Lord…”

Ancestor Xu, Fate Lord, and Calamity Lord all became solemn.

The three had already remained within the End of the Path realm for countless years.

Yet the ability to silently transport them into another spacetime domain demonstrated the power of Authority itself.

The so-called End of the Path realm possessed no resistance whatsoever before the True Path realm.

Very few beings in the Boundless Expanse possessed Authority.

Encountering one was almost impossible. One could search the entire Boundless Expanse and still fail to find even a trace of them.

The figure before them was precisely such an existence. He wielded the Authority of Creation. If he did not wish to meet them, they could search the entire Boundless Expanse and never detect him.

“Whether it is true or false, the World Lord will know with a single look.”

Ancestor Xu spoke.

The World Lord had once established Creation Mountain and created a race known as the World Clan.

That race possessed an innate ability to nurture worlds. However, for reasons unknown, it later disappeared completely.

Yet the World Lord himself had continued to exist throughout the ages. His path of cultivation centered on creation.

From small worlds, to medium worlds, to great worlds, then multiversal worlds, super-multiversal worlds, and finally True Worlds—each stage corresponded to a higher realm.

The World Lord had now reached the level of creating True Worlds. He firmly believed that if he could create a world equal to the Boundless Expanse itself, he would transcend his current realm.

According to the World Lord’s philosophy, beyond the Mortal Realm, Immortal Realm, and Dao Realm, there existed another realm.

It was called the Heaven Realm. However, from beginning to end, no one had ever reached it.
