Vol 16 Chapter Afterword
Vol 16 Chapter Afterword
And here’s the afterword~
Afterword
Thank you for reading this work.
I’m Miku, the author.
As for the content of this volume, the battle with the Gods of Earth has finally ended, and Yuuya has a new family member named Don.
In volume 14, Don was described as having a “wolf or lion-like appearance,” but I thought it would be nice if he had a different appearance, so I changed his appearance as described in this story.
However, in the past, Don has been used as a weapon by the Earth Gods and manipulated without his own consent.
This time, too, he was revived at the will of the Earth Gods, but since the Earth Gods were weakened and Yuuya had stronger divine powers, control of the situation naturally shifted to Yuuya.
In the end, the Earth Gods were destroyed by Don, who was originally nothing more than a plaything for them.
The course of events here is similar to the time when Yuuya took Ciel into the family and destroyed Avis.
I wasn’t aware of it, but maybe every time a new member of Yuuya’s family appears, the enemy meets an unexpected end.
And this time, the focus was on the battle with the gods of Earth, so for the first time in a while, the story was set on Earth.
In addition to the turmoil of the engagement, there were also many events on Earth, such as the overseas filming and the battle with the terrorists.
I enjoy writing about chaos in another world, but the more I write about chaos in the real world, the more I realize how crazy it is, but I still enjoy it in my own way.
I hope you enjoyed the chaos as much as I did.
In addition, this time, the members of the Ousei Academy, such as Ryo and Shingo, also make an appearance.
Furthermore, the way the story is going, it seems that they will also appear in the next volume, and something big will happen… but at the moment, I have no idea what will happen.
And in the last scene, Yuuya is taken away by someone from the future.
So I think the next volume will mainly focus on the future story and events with the members of the Ousei Academy… but only I in the future will know what will happen. At least, I have no idea at the moment.
I hope you, the readers, will enjoy finding out what happens together with me.
Now, to change the subject a bit, the manga adaptation of the spin-off of this work, ‘Girls Side,’ has started.
The artist responsible for the illustrations is Miinosuke-sensei.
The illustrations are very stylish, the battle scenes are powerful, and combined with the interesting original story by Miinosuke-sensei, the content is extremely enjoyable to read.
I hope you will read this work as well.
Also, the latest volume of the manga adaptation of this work by the artist will be released at the end of this month, so we hope you will read it.
Although it’s a different work, the manga adaptation of Bushinden, also published by Fantasia Bunko, has also begun.
The artwork for it is being done by the artist.
The artwork is so captivating that even I, the author of the original work, can’t help but be curious to see what happens next, so I hope you’ll read both the manga adaptation and the original novel.
And this year marks the fifth anniversary of the ‘Iserebe’ series, so as you can probably see from the cover of the paperback edition, various projects are being launched to mark the occasion.
Please look forward to those as well.
Well, I would like to thank the editor in charge again for all his help this time.
I would also like to thank Rein Kuwashima-sensei for the wonderful illustrations.
And I would like to thank all the readers who have read this work.
Thank you very much.
See you again.
