I Inherited an Empire with a Fake Pregnancy

Chapter 77 - IIEWFP Chapter 77

Chapter 77

Imagining himself in the near future as a person who would be able to stand up again, Derrick couldn’t help but feel a surge in his chest.

He took two deep breaths before slowly calming down and giving orders to the other three in the study, “This matter cannot be revealed to anyone, including…my father.”

It was not that he wanted to conceal this from his father deliberately. Rather, he was worried that once his father knew, he would be too happy and share it with Eugene and…that female!

When Blair heard Derrick’s words, he sneered, “Yes, if those people know of it, they will surely try to harm you again. It was obvious that there was a problem with the energy liquid she gave you, but the Nolan family turned black to white and ruined you instead. What trash they are.”

“What happened then doesn’t need to be mentioned again. One day, I will let her and the entire Nolan family pay the price.” Derrick said in a flat tone.

While Jin WoWo was being called a “God-level Master with a weird temper”, Jin WoWo remained oblivious as he and Raymond journeyed to the Energy Star.

This planet was the energy star that Raymond mentioned to him that night.

Unexpectedly, Raymond was resolute and actually transferred Energy Star’s ownership to his name the next day.

It was only because the two of them weren’t busy that Jin Wowo remembered about the Energy Star. And, only then did he find out that Energy Star was already his private property.

Jin WoWo felt happy. Although Raymond doesn’t say anything fancy, he likes this kind of person who “does what he says first and then follows through it”, a man of strong action.

After getting on the spaceship, Jin Wowo found that he and Raymond were alone in the huge spaceship.

Raymond’s thoughts were pure. Meanwhile, Jin WoWo wrapped reached his arm out to hug Raymond’s neck. Jin WoWo kissed his chin and smiled, his beautiful pair of eyes curving, “Is the trip only for the two of us?”

Since Raymond had opened up more to Jin WoWo, Jin WoWo would tease him from time to time.

Although his self-control (even in his facial expressions) was good, he had never been kissed by Jin WoWo. He couldn’t control the blush spreading across his cheek at the act of “breaking the bedside”.

Thus, Raymond grabbed the golden snail as if he were a sick person who finally found his lifesaving drug. Raymond kissed the snail shell pattern on the Jin WoWo’s forehead, smiled, and said, “Only the two of us are traveling.”

Raymond’s Energy Star… oh wait no, Jin WoWo’s Energy Star was not very far from Central Star. They would arrive via spacecraft in half a day.

As the pilot and captain, Raymond, even though he wanted to do something else in the spacecraft with only two people, couldn’t do anything but man the spacecraft.

Raymond regretted not bringing a driver with him.

Jin WoWo was the co-pilot and passenger. After passing the meteorite belt, Raymond taught him to drive the spacecraft. The two of them quickly reached the Energy Star after rounds of teaching and learning.

When approaching the Energy Star, Jin WoWo could feel the energy of the five elements coming from all directions.

Some of the extraordinarily prominent energy even penetrated the spaceship and acted on Jin WoWo’s body, causing the demon core in his body to run on its own.

The closer they were to the Energy Star, the faster his demon core rotated.

Raymond parked the spacecraft on the Energy Star, and the golden snail felt a faint heat start to emanate from his demon core.

He probed around using his spiritual energy to check on his demon core. His demon core was still the same, there were no changes in appearance. But, Jin WoWo felt his demon core getting hotter and hotter.

What was going on?

Jin WoWo couldn’t help but touch the physical position of the demon core on his body with his hand.

“What’s the matter with you? Are you uncomfortable?” Raymond’s concerned voice sounded in his ears.

Jin WoWo shook his head, “It’s okay, let’s go down.”

Raymond took his hand, walked to the door, and pressed the button to open the door.

The moment the hatch opened, Jin WoWo felt an incredible amount of energy rush toward him.

Within the surge of energy, the five elements of wood, water, fire, and earth are all present. The five elements violently oppress his body. Even if Jin WoWo wanted to put a solid defense on himself and Raymond, they couldn’t resist something like this. It was as if the boundless energy of the interstellar was rushing to them.

There was no wind in his hair yey the corners of his clothes were flying. Jin WoWo trembled all over and his facial muscles began to twist.

“WoWo, WoWo, what’s wrong with you??!!!” Raymond shouted in panic.

Jin WoWo could hear Raymond’s roar. He had never heard Raymond make such a panicked and anxious sound. He wanted to respond, but he couldn’t make a sound.

Raymond’s voice was getting further and further away until he could not hear anything.

Jin WoWo was very anxious but he couldn’t do anything. He seemed to have entered a chaotic space, unable to see, touch, or hear.

The only feeling he had was his demon core getting hotter and hotter, as if it was about to burn a hole out of his body.

Suddenly, there was a sharp pain in Jin WoWo’s body. It felt as if countless sharp knives were falling on every inch of his body, a pain he had never experienced in his lifetime.

Jin WoWo couldn’t help screaming.

“WoWo, WoWo, what’s wrong with you? What’s wrong with you?!”

Raymond hugged the golden snail tightly. Looking at his significant other’s painful expression, he wanted to transfer the pain to his body!

He had never felt so helpless and scared before. Various previous conjectures appeared uncontrollably in his mind.

Jin WoWo was not a person in this world, he once wondered if the other party would leave suddenly one day.

He gave only the best to Jin WoWo, using this method to keep the golden snails with him forever.

In the past few months, the relationship between the two of them has gradually improved. He liked Jin WoWo, and Jin WoWo also liked him.

He thought that Jin WoWo should stay here for the rest of his life, stay by his side.

But Jin WoWo once said that he came to this world inexplicably, that is to say, whether Jin Wowo can stay in this world forever is not his decision, nor was it under his own control.

Now, seeing Jin WoWo’s body being controlled by some kind of mysterious power, Raymond was terrified.

Raymond hugged Jin WoWo tightly. If his significant other was going to be taken away by some mysterious power, then he would go with him.

At this time, sweat was oozing out of the golden snail’s forehead, and the snail shell pattern between the eyebrows was only faintly visible.

Raymond gritted his teeth tightly. His eyes were red, and he roared beside Jin WoWo’s ears: “WoWo, listen to me. You said you want to spend your life with me. You are not allowed to go anywhere!! ”

He just finished his message when suddenly his arms became empty—only a cloud of air was left in his arms.

Raymond looked at his hands, his eyeballs almost popping out of his eye sockets.

Jin WoWo was gone.

Jin WoWo was gone!

Raymond was going crazy.

Raymond rushed down from the spaceship and yelled into the air a few times, but received no response.

He would no longer hear Jin WoWo calling him Big Black from time to time, nor would he see Jin WoWo raising his eyebrows triumphantly and winking at him mischievously.

Jin WoWo’s smile replayed uncontrollably in his mind.

Raymond knelt on the ground with a “plop” and plunged his forehead deeply into the rough sand.

“Raymond.”

“Raymond.”

Raymond raised his head abruptly and looked around.

Jin WoWo’s voice?

The voice was very small and hoarse, but Raymond would never mistake it.

It really was Jin WoWo’s voice. Raymond just wasn’t sure if he was starting to have auditory hallucinations.

“Raymond, I am here.”

This time Raymond heard it clearly. He wasn’t having auditory hallucinations, he really heard the voice of Jin WoWo!

Raymond hurriedly turned to the source of the sound. Although he didn’t see anything, he still stood up and asked urgently in that direction, “Is it you? Is it you?”

“It’s me. It’s me. Why did you run out? Hey, hey, I’m at the door of the spaceship. Below, look below!”

Raymond moved his gaze to below the hatch, and he saw a snail the size of his palm, swaying four tentacles at him vigorously. The action seemed a little ridiculous, but Raymond only wanted to cry.

He walked over slowly and carefully picked up the little snail’s shell with two fingers, and held him in his palm.

The little snail wiggled its tentacles slowly, “It’s so dry here, and my body is running out of water.”

As soon as Jin WoWo’s voice fell, he saw huge, thin, angular lips, slowly approaching him, and gently pressed on his tentacles.

The little snail let out a soft cry of “Ah”.

Raymond’s panicked voice sounded, “What’s the matter? Did I hurt you?”

Jin WoWo looked at his significant other’s crimson eyes, “No, um. It’s just, those are my eyes.”

Raymond just remembered that the snail’s eyes were on the top of the two front tentacles.

The corners of his mouth moved upwards slightly, his voice hoarse, “Sorry.”

Then he held the little snail and slowly turned his palm around. Raymond, then, printed a kiss with extreme care on the little snail’s shell.

Raymond was very familiar with the pattern on this shell

It was exactly the same as the shell pattern on Jin WoWo’s forehead.

Jin WoWo made no sound this time.

Raymond probably wanted to use this method to confirm his existence. Unfortunately, Jin WoWo’s animal form was too small, and the body of a snail was very tender as well. So, Raymond made sure to move very carefully.

The little snail wiggled its four tentacles and said softly, “Don’t worry, I’m here.”

Raymond’s eyes which had just returned to normal instantly reddened again.

“Now, find me a container and pour some water in it. I’m going to drying to death.” Jin WoWo said, his voice sounding even duller than before.

If he stays in his current environment, he would soon enter a dormant state.

Holding the little snail, Raymond hurriedly got up and quickly got into the spaceship.

It almost never rained on the Energy Star. All year round, it was arid. Plants were only drought-tolerant varieties, and the air is very dry.

Snails, creatures that love humid environments, would have difficulty surviving here.

Raymond quickly found a container and poured water into it until it was half full.

“Put you directly into the water?”

“Put.”

The little golden snail only said one word. Raymond looked closely at the little snail in his hand whose head and tail went into the round snail shell.

Raymond carefully put the little snail into the water, and the snail shell slowly sank to the bottom.

Raymond stared at the little snail in the container. As time passed, he couldn’t help but worry.

Although snails like humid environments, they could suffocate if they were left underwater for a long time.

Just when he was considering whether to fish out the little snail, the little snail under the water slowly protruded its head and tail from the shell. Then, the little snail slowly floated up until it surfaced.

“Ah! I’m full at last!” The little snail said lazily as it slowly turned its tentacles.

Jin WoWo’s voice returned to being the clear voice it used to be.

Raymond gently touched the little snail shell with his fingers, “Are you going to come out now?”

“I won’t go outside. It’s too dry.”

“When you return to your human form, will you be afraid of such a dry environment?”

The little snail turned silent and Raymond felt an unusual atmosphere.

After a while, the little snail slowly turned its tentacles and a clear voice rang out softly, “What if I never become a human again?”

Raymond was startled, “You………Your body has other special conditions?”

Jin WoWo had a physical condition before and could not take his beast form. But now, he has taken on his beast form but cannot change back into his human form.

Recalling the painful look Jin WoWo had just now before transforming, Raymond was very worried about his significant other’s physical condition.

The little snail swam to the edge of the container. His stomach and base pressed against the edge of the container, but he didn’t climb anymore.

“Yes, I cannot turn into my human form.” Jin WoWo answered.

Raymond frowned slightly, and the emotions swirling in his eyes couldn’t be described.

Raymond stood up slowly and suddenly took out a delicate little box, almost like a magic trick.

The little snail sticking to the wall of the container stopped slightly with its antennae slowly rotating.

Raymond opened the small box and took out a low-key styled but elegant ring from within.

Raymond looked at the little snail sticking to the wall of the container and gave a smile that was a bit shy.

“I prepared the ring before the trip. I was planning to propose to you here.”

Raymond took a step back, got down on one knee, and a little snail reflected in his eyes full of gentleness, “WoWo, let’s become partners!”

The tentacles of the little snail shook slightly, “Aren’t you afraid that I won’t be able to be human again?”

“You will become human again.”

“And, what if I never do?”

Raymond stood up, walked to the side of the container, stretched out his fingers, and gently touched the shell of the little snail. With his eyes filled with gentleness, Raymond declared “If you don’t change back, it would still be nice, very cute.”

The four tentacles of the little snail trembled, “Then, for the sake of your sincerity, I will reluctantly accept you.”

The tone of the answer was somewhat arrogant.

Raymond couldn’t help but let out a low laugh. He picked up the ring and gently put it on the little snail’s neck.
