Chapter 1982: 24.243 Sixth Violet Star - Group of Traitors

After the interference of Heri, the prophet of the beastmen race, and his mate, who is also the former elf king, Lord Vega, the new marshal, Gu Ying, had failed to summon all the students from the Taming Academy to be brought to the borderlands to fight. The prophet sacrificed some beast which is like livestock to his beastmen race and let the soldiers and warriors sign contracts with it. Most of them were successful but some also failed. However, it no longer has anything to do with Heri and Lord Vega as they already closed the walls of their ancient forest.

Lord Vega also announced, "The children will be left in our care for a while. If you want to fetch your children, come back here after the Marshal and his people have returned to the borders."

These words from the former elf king are clearly taunt saying that the new marshal, Gu Ying will not have the chance to sneak away the children as they were currently being protected by the beastman race.
