Chapter 2044: 24.305 Sixth Violet Star - Sharing Memories

Pulled into a dream state, Prophet Heri brought them to a place that seems to be a soul domain. His soul domain is the pure white world from before covered in mirror shards. Though this is a special space only for the prophet as only they can touch the shard and no else can do so. Everyone was surprised by the scenery. Seeing the floating shards in the air they tried to touch only for their fingers to pass through.

Prophet Heri smiled at the actions of the children. It is normal for them to reach out of something that seems unique and something they had never seen before.

He said as he snapped his fingers, "Everyone gather and have a seat." With this sound a few chairs, couches, tables with drinks and desserts had appeared before them.

Everyone sat at the couches with Prophet Heri taking a seat in front of them. He waves his hands as a few mirror shards to merge into a huge one. As huge as those in cinema screens.

He said, "I will show you the future I have seen. Please be reminded that this is just one of the futures and it is not the final. Everything you will see is just a possibility. It can be changed."

Everyone’s expression turned serious upon hearing these words. Seeing this Heri controlled the mirror shard and showed them what he had seen before. The location was at the borders and the reinforcements that came to help were a group of young adults led by Long Juedi. As if the two commanders already expected this, Lord Huzi and Beast God Mo welcome them without a question. On the other hand, the old soldiers were in dismay. They couldn’t believe that only the children were sent to help them. But when they heard what was happening in the city they finally understood why.

An invasion led by the human marshal, Gu Ying, had ordered the humans to attack the ancient forest where the beastmen race and the survivors from the other races live together. Since the ancient forest is no longer safe, the adults choose to send them to the borders which is less dangerous than where they are. Now two wars are ongoing. One at the borders and the other at the city itself.

Everyone watches as Long Juedi leads the children to fight at the frontlines. Under the command of Long Juedi, they defeated waves after waves from the beast race, even killing two beast commanders who led the attack. Under the formation of the group led by Long Juedi, they greatly minimized the death count which lightens the burden on the borders.

Because of their presence, the beast race was somewhat overwhelmed that it reached the ears of the Evil Beast God and his contractor. When Pei Jin, the Evil Beast God’s contractor, heard that Long Juedi had appeared at the borders, like the lunatic he had always been, he also appeared at the outer region of the barren lands.

The first wave of mutation Pei Jin, this lunatic had sent were beasts who were gigantified 100 times. Though their numbers were limited, fighting a few giants with few people of human size took too long. Among the friends of Long Juedi, the first pair to fall were Nan Jiang and the Dwarf Princess Shika who entered the berserk state together, even burning their lifespan to kill giant beasts who come to destroy the wall.

A part of the border’s wall collapsed by the impact of two giant sized beasts. Even though they were killed, Nan Jiang and Princess Shika had also sustained fatal injuries that they had fallen into a coma. Long Juedi and the others regret letting these two fight on their own as they healed.

Before they can even take a breath to rest another way of mutation has arrived. There is still one more giant among the beast and most of these beasts this time had troll-like regeneration. a simple cut would heal instantly and even if they cut the beast with a thousand pieces they would instantly. The only way to kill them was to cut them to pieces and burn each piece to ashes. This would take time and a lot of these beasts had mutated this way. To kill all the beasts Xue Laira, Elf Prince Heva, Elf Princess Hevana, Nangong Rui and the twins, Cao Wanji and Cao Heiji, had gone all out.

They’ve summoned all their beasts and elementals just to help them restrain the mutated beasts. The beast race numbers have always been ten times the population of the humans and these mutated beasts were at least ¼ of the beast race’s original population. That’s how many beasts Pei Jin had experimented on and how much sacrifice the beast race had agreed to do.

The six tamers and summoners no longer cared about their qi pool and like Nan Jiang and Princess Shika, to keep their contracted beasts and elementals longer in the mortal realm, they burned their lifespans just to extend their summoning duration. Blood strolls down from their eyes, ears, nose and ears but they no longer care. They only have these mutated beasts in their eyes and they wouldn’t stop until all of them are dead.

Xue Laira, Elf Prince Heva, Elf Princess Hevana, Nangong Rui and the twins, Cao Wanji and Cao Heiji, had done their best and successfully defended the second wave of beast mutation that angered Pei Jin, making him appear near the borders. That is when he tried to kill Xue Laira who had summoned most of the powerful elementals as the Spirit Realm’s Princess and how Nangong Rui died protecting her.

At this scene, Xue Laira who was watching couldn’t help but gasped and stood up in shock. She looked at Nangong Rui who had a helpless smile as if someone had exposed his feelings out in the open for everyone to see. Everyone was shocked by the death of Nangong Rui, especially his Elemental Emperor of Water and Ice. On the projection, after the death of Nangong Rui the Elemental Emperor of the Water and Ice were devastated and went berserk. She created another wall made of thick ice and self destruction in the middle of the beast troops, almost turning even Pei Jin in the mix. If not for the Evil Beast God, Lord Ouroboros saving him on time, he would most likely turn himself into a human popsicle.

Nan Jiang couldn’t help feeling agitated by his friend’s death and seeing Pei Jin, "Why didn’t that bastard freeze to death!?"

"Calm down. We can just twist his neck when he sees him on the borders!" Princess Shika while crackling her knuckles. She is obviously trying to hold back her anger.

Cao Wanji said, "Maybe separating him from the Evil Beast God is the correct way to kill him."

"I can hold back that dragon but only for a moment. I can feel a powerful energy of darkness and something else coming from him," Cao Heiji said.

As for the Spirit God Thorn, he couldn’t believe a human was willing to sacrifice his life to protect his daughter. He decided to keep this boy in mind and planned to train him together with his daughter when they returned.

Upon hearing this, everyone once again looks at the mirror which plays Prophet Heri’s memory. Everyone was watching until they saw the Evil Beast God and Pei Jin wield a strange energy with the shade of black and violet. Moreover, it moves as if it was alive and not even Pei Jin had full control over it. This energy can instantly destroy anything it touches, even the land itself. Only under the holy light controlled by Long Juedi does this energy somehow restrain it. The finally moment when Long Juedi and Haerin tried to mixed their Qi that the shade of Long Juedi’s Holy power had changed also for a moment, the golden color gains a silver shade that mixed with it, defeating the blackish purple energy that the Evil Beast God and Pei Jin wields.

Even Haerin and Long Juedi were shocked by that unknown energy that came out of Princess Haerin’s body, the princess didn’t even know where that power came from. Only the dying Evil Beast God glares at them while hugging Pei Jin who was killed on the spot, murmuring a few words.

"The power of... d-destruction..."

The two took their last breath after saying these words. When the two rulers of the beast race had died as if the beast race had lost the chains reigning them, they had all gone berserk. Like crazy beasts who had no mind of their own, they randomly attacked everything near them including all their kind. Seeing this Lord Huzi ordered the retreat as he and Beast God Mo Minkong created a wall of barrier to prevent the beast from coming over their land. It is just that at the last moment the outer region of the barren land collapses and all the beast on it. No, everything in that area had fallen.

A huge crack on the land had appeared, revealing something within the world that is supposed to be hidden to be exposed. The memory was cut off abruptly at that scene as Prophet Heri knew that this part only showed something forbidden that mortals should never see.
