They had entered an evolutionary state which greatly increased not only their physique and abilities. They had also gained intelligence beyond what an insect can normally have. Moreover, this transformation would cause more tragedy about the human race.

The effects of an Ancient God interfering on this planet caused the Insect race to evolve. Moreover this evolution leads to some insect or zerg reaching a form very close to how humans look. If they continue to evolve even more humans, it would be harder for the human race to kill them. When an insect reached an evolution very close to that of a human meant this Zerg had reached a certain realm which is beyond what their insect race limits themselves.

What does it mean to have an insect with the same intelligence and form as a human being?

It meant that they had evolved beyond their limits and become a new species that might be able to exterminate the human race.

At the current level of the sentinels and guides in the empire, being targeted by a race that evolved would be almost impossible to defeat. To have enough strength to fight against an evolved individual, the current empire is lacking, only once they are capable of controlling their transformation that the human race do not need to fear these evolved creatures. This is also one of the reasons the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness is willing to help the empire get stronger.

On a planet full of varying insects, at the imperial palace...

Some insects had already evolved close to that of a human form. The only defects is that they couldn’t fully transform into that of a human and some parts of their bodies still remained that of an insect. The insect race had been secretive about this mission and only when powerful sentinels were sent there to clean up the Insect race, they had found a survivor and started asking them about what happened. After learning this news, the first time they had realized that the Insect race had truly come back. A report was sent to the palace for this situation for the first time.
