Chapter 2176: 25.66 Lone Black Star - At the Royal Library

The Duke, Lord Ye Jie, who was there to attend the morning court noticed the varying expression on his Emperor brother’s face while observing his and his brother’s children. From a startle to acceptance and sudden realization. Though Duke Ye couldn’t understand why his brother is showing such a rich set of expressions, he believes that even this had a reason for it. Meanwhile the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang tried to calm down as he realized that the two youngest descendants of his royal family had most likely reached the power of a divine. They were now at least in the Demigod realm and the people who had most likely helped them reach such a level can only be done by two people, which are the First Emperor and the First Empress.

"The two of you had done well in the circumstances that had happened in your academy. Thanks to both of you, the Imperial Royal Family remains standing and most incidents didn’t let students of the empire to suffer. Actually, the two of them didn’t have much in mind. They were just getting along when suddenly they were called here like this. The Imperial Emperor laughs, "Alright. You can head to the Royal Library. Find someone called as a caretaker inside the Royal Library and he would bring you to the place you wanted to . Go ahead, the two of you are excused for further involvement in the morning court."

"Thank you, Imperial Father (Your royal majesty)!" The Crown Prince and Ye Caoyun responded collectively.

After saying these words, they were now able to take their leave and went out of the Throne Hall. As for the morning court, it had resumed even after the two youngest with the room had taken their leave. The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya had brought Ye Caoyun to the Royal Library as planned. They were looking around the library and even asked the library staff about the forbidden area and the individual called as Caretaker by the emperor of the Empire.

"Are the royal highness looking for the forbidden area in the Royal Library?" The13th caretaker of the forbidden zone asked the crown prince and his future consort.

Ye Caoyun while the two of them were looking around the Royal Library was suddenly approached by an old man. What startled the two of them most is that none of the two of them noticed the approach from this person.

Thoughts of the Crown Prince while facing the old man in front of them, ’I didn’t even notice him approach much less heard this man’s footsteps. How is it possible for this being to hide the breath of a mortal like this old man?’

"Elder, may I ask who might you be?" Ye Caoyun asked politely.

The caretaker responded, "I am the 13th caretaker of the forbidden area hidden within this royal library. If the two his highnesses wanted to enter the forbidden area, then please follow this old man."

Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun had followed the old man and they were brought to the hidden location with the Royal Library and suddenly a huge and unique door they had never noticed upon walking around the place for quite a while had appeared before them. Both the Crown Prince and the reincarnated god were dumbfounded. They couldn’t understand why none of them noticed such a huge door and were now questioning their memories upon arriving in this library. After all, when they had entered the Royal Library, they had spread their divine consciousness just so they could find this so-called Forbidden Zone.

None of such had been found by their divine senses, that’s why they had been walking around the library trying to physically find the forbidden area. Only when the caretaker himself had found them that they finally found the entrance.

The Crown Prince frowns, "This is a bit... impossible. Yun’er and I had been looking around the library and also been in this location within the library but we had never seen such a door when we first surveyed in his area."

"It must have been hidden in some kind of an Illusion Formation. The kind that cannot be easily entered without the permission of the door guardian which is most likely this senior’s responsibility," said Ye Caoyun.

The 13th Caretaker smiled and said, "The successors of the Masters are indeed good." He pulled the key to the door and opened it for them. "Please enter. They had been waiting for you inside."

Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun walked past the door and the next moment they had passed through the door, the magical scenes of floating bookshelves, a group of book spirits flying around as well as books flying above their heads left them speechless for a moment. With the giggling laughter of the book spirits, the crown prince and the reincarnated god noticed two familiar presence within the forbidden area. The two were none other than the God of Destruction and his lover, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Even though they didn’t expect that the two of them would meet Teacher Ye Xiajie and Teacher Mo Anjing here, now that they are being called by their masters, they can only come over. In front of their teacher is a freshly painted figure of something like a humanoid insect. It looked like a zerg that had mutated to have human features despite being a bug.
