After the commander had entered the medicine pod to heal himself completely, Lieutenant Shu, had taken on the command position and everyone had to listen to him including the Crown Princess. Human genes can adapt to almost all kinds of genes, but it doesn’t mean that it’s a perfect merging.

Unstable gene merging can result in gene explosion, where the mutant will explode on the spot or they become mindless monsters who seek for life and death. They are even more dangerous as they sometimes cause a second mutation which would lead to something unknown and contagious.

When everyone heard the answer of the crown princess they were surprised. They didn’t expect it to be this kind of dangerous mutation. As for how Ye Caoyun knew about such things, they all believe that it was their ancestors who had taught them such things beyond their understanding. The masters of the crown prince and the crown princess were all presumed as gods or divinity by everyone from the empire.

"I cannot kill you. If I do... Your ancestors will have a reason to make a move. So keeping you two alive is the best decision to keep them at bay," The Third Prince said.

The Third Prince, Ye Di, smiled. However, this smile felt icy and evil. Something within him had replaced the original soul of the third prince and completely turned this third prince evil.
