Ye Qinya looked confused and asked, “You can speak to animals?”

“You better not lie. I am not kidding of letting you sleep outside the tent if you break your promise,” said the duchess.

Upon hearing this especially effective threat from his wife, the grand duke who is known to be fearless in the battlefield had just revealed the fact that he is afraid of his wife’s rage. A henpecked man who is willing to lower his pride for the sake of his beloved.

At the territory of the sleeping beast, the crown princess and the crown prince had finally arrived in the area. They had noticed some bones,scales, wings etc, scattered all around this place. When Ye Caoyun and Ye Qinya had a closer look at these things, they immediately recognized them as some broken parts from the insect race.

When the crown prince checked all the remains on the ground, he sighs in relief at heart.

Ye Qinya said, “It seems that he truly only ate bugs. This is great.”

“This little one… Isn’t he an anteater,” said Ye Caoyun after seeing the appearance of the beast.

This sleeping beast looked like a mutated ant eater. It evolved from just eating ants to eating all kinds of insects, it still loves to eat ants the most though. As Ye Caoyun approached the sleeping beast closer, it suddenly opened its eyes revealing round gold irises emitting a hint of slight divinity. It seems that this mutated little anteater is already a demigod in strength alone. No wonder the zergs that invaded this planet stopped bothering it after it ate a lot of its kind.

The crown prince said, “A demigod ranked beast? This is extremely rare. But what an anteater? Yun’er, do you know what kind of beast this is?”

“The name means literally. It loves to eat ants the most, that’s why it’s called an anteater. But it seems after it has mutated, it can now eat all kinds of insects. Such a lazy beast, it can even go back to sleep around strangers like them. Now they realized that this big baby is indeed harmless after all, there is not even a scent of human body or other animal blood on it. Just the remains of the insect race scattered around its nest.

Ye Caoyun smiled, “This big baby is still digesting what it last ate. It would only wake up again after it feels hungry again.”

“Are you sure it is not a pig? Look how fat it is,” said Ye Qinya.

The sleeping anteater was irritated by the noise they had made and the fact that it called it a pig, angered it a bit. It swung its tail, wanted to slap away the annoying human with a dangerous and eerie aura, and even called an anteater like him a pig.
