I Only Summon Villainesses

Chapter 431: Just Two Days

Chapter 431: Just Two Days

When my eyes fluttered open, everything around me, for a brief second, assaulted my senses. It was difficult telling my right side from my left and I was ravaged by a high-pitched screech.

They all lasted for a moment, before the warmth of wherever I was set in, and then I felt the soft, bouncy platform beneath me. A moment later, I easily processed that I was in a room.

The corners of the room were dark, the center of the space was light with a light that glowed from the luxurious chandelier that hung a few meters away from the bed.

The bed itself was a centerpiece that perfected the space, thrown in the vastness of a room. The furniture pieces were a spectacle in their own forms, brown and speaking of an ancient glamor that both breathed luxury and unsophisticated class, so easily.

I stood up, but swayed on my feet. It took a few steps for me to be able to walk straight, even though my legs still felt heavy, or light, they felt like they had not seen the ground for days.

I leaned on the door and pushed its knob open. But I had dropped too much of my weight on it; just as the door opened, I poured outside.

Instead of collapsing to the ground, I collapsed onto two moons that sat together, softer than any cushion I had ever witnessed.

“So… tired…”

I muttered instinctively, and wrapped my hands around the thin waist of the cushion. Even though I was tired, and weak, my hands did the thing they would do out of instinct. And this had nothing to do with me.

I suddenly heard a strange and unexpected voice.

“If you have the strength to grope my ass, then I guess you’re recovering faster than expected.”

My eyes widened at the voice. It wasn’t until it spoke that I registered whose it was.

Its overpowering tone was not something I came by a lot of times.

‘Lady Ilse?’

“Lady Ilse?”

I staggered back, almost falling, but she held my hand, like a lover refusing to let her man go down the rabbit hole. The roles should be reversed though.

She helped me stand right, and assisted me back inside, sitting me on the edge of the bed.

“Please… where is Kassie?”

‘I think I saw Maggie too, shouldn’t she be on a mission?’

My mind was too hazy and I felt like I wasn’t sure I could trust what I saw at that moment. But I had to ask like that.

She sighed.

“You’ve been out for two days. In those two days, your summons each have been busy. The one you mentioned now… that must be the Red Commander.”

Lady Ilse looked at me for some reason, then she exhaled.

“I can’t believe someone like you managed to summon the Red Commander.”

She looked doubtful and pained at the same time.

I just wanted her to tell me where the fuck my summons were.

“And you have three summons? How does that even make any sense?”

Her face looked pale.

‘Where the fuck are my summons, woman?’

She glanced at me, and cleared her throat, looking away.

“Right… your summon, the Red Commander, has been fighting Brunhilde for about a day and a half now. They’ve not stopped.”

She looked at me again.

“The nun ran… she said she had to be in Recimiras and she was going to run there if need be?”

‘What?’

“As for the third one, White Feather, is it? She has gone to search for something precious to her.”

I frowned, deeply aggravated at myself.

“Two days… I was out for two days!”

It was my fault, how could I have been out for so long, White Feather’s daughter. Even Maggie had to risk the lives of the others to show up and save my life.

Right now, I had to do something.

I sat there, my hand curled into a fist that rested on my thighs. Then I looked at my hands. On my right arm, towards the upper region, there was a scar around there, as though my hand had been sewn.

“Right, we had to perform an emergency surgery on you. I had my people sew back your hand before we lost it. We were actually able to save it. How have been the motor responses so far?”

I raised my hand, and clenched my fist. Right now, there was no difficulty doing anything. And that was good.

I pressed my hands against the bed and tried to stand up, but my arm strength was weak. Then it occurred to me why I couldn’t properly open the door without falling.

I fell back to the chair and Lady Ilse gently held me.

“You should rest. You need a lot of it for the next few days.”

‘I can’t…’

It was clearly ringing in my head, there was no way I would rest a few days when White Feather was AWOL, going after that faggot that took her daughter alone.

I tried to stand up again.

“I have to get Kassie, we have to go after her…”

She sternly sat me back down and stood over me.

“Listen, young man… I do not know you, but I owe you. You, for no reason, stood and protected me, when you should have run. While I call it tomfoolery, I find it fascinating…”

She paused and rested her hand on the mount of her chest.

Her eyes looked wistful.

“I have never had someone throw themselves in the way for me, neither have I expected to have, I lived a very heinous life after all, and dedicated myself to being the villain in everyone’s story.”

The tone she spoke with, along with the look in her eyes, made me want to curiously inquire the kind of life she had lived before now. Because, how was it possible that someone, a lady like her was this packaged, her ass, her breast, and no one had ever thrown their lives for her?

‘I guess not everyone is as generous as I am.’

But I couldn’t care less about things like this, I had to find White Feather’s daughter.

“I’m sorry to cut you short, Lady Ilse, but I really have to go.”

“And I intend to let you.”

She spoke with a determined look in her eyes.

“Who do you think told your summon where to go? This man you’re looking for, Fairywind, right? He’s the source of all my problems, let me assist you.”
