I Only Summon Villainesses

Chapter 457: The Pretty Boy And His Absolutely Awesome Timing!

Chapter 457: The Pretty Boy And His Absolutely Awesome Timing!

Everything came to me in a tangled mess of confusion. For more than one minute, I was sure I just sat there staring at the last checkpoint where I had seen Nisha.

The sky was sinisterly dark and cloudy, the snow seemed restless, and it was more than just the battle that was happening a few meters behind me. The wind was also tense, but at the same time, it seemed frightened, sweeping across different directions in either confusion or fear.

Amidst it all, I stood there… motionless.

Lady Ilse came to me. She was standing alone with an ever-fierce look on her face.

“I am here to support you. So whatever your command is, I’m waiting.”

She glanced towards Tristan’s battle.

“Although we just had one hell of a bout, I doubt we will be able to come out of this one unscathed.”

She turned back to me and squinted her eyes.

“Just who are you? How are you, a stranger I had never heard of, getting mixed up with all of this? How?”

My gaze drifted from Nisha’s last position towards her.

“What do you mean?”

My tone was a bit hoarse and weak. It was hard to suppress the sadness and the worry.

She studied me for a bit. The kind of expression that was on her face was unreadable before she sighed and looked exasperated.

“It’s just…”

She hesitated and stared at the battle.

“I think you need to help your friend.”

I stared at the storm of snow. It was horribly cold, the wind whipped around violently, thrashing at the snow, and the snow responded with a mighty and unfettered explosion, rising into the sky and swirling with a demented and devastating might.

My right foot tried to step forward, but I couldn’t even move it. It felt impossibly heavy. Pain and fatigue had fused together into a crushing burden that pressed down on my body, making it difficult to move at all.

‘Damnit.’

I gritted my teeth painfully and clenched my fist.

‘I can’t do shit right now, I’m too tired.’

I glanced at Levi, only to discover he was gone. All of him had plunged into the castle. They were now in a destructive clash with the strange construct that defended the boy inside the castle.

‘That bastard really left Tristan to fight that thing…’

Lady Ilse’s gaze was on me. She sighed and turned to the battle.

“I can still muster enough spirit essence to fight. I can support him.”

I held her shoulder.

“No.”

She turned her head to me, confused.

“I… need to regain my essence.”

She continued to stare at me. Then an absurd expression climbed onto her face as she realized.

“What? Here?”

I nodded and explained.

“I would have loved to do it myself, but that is no way as effective as you doing it for me…”

Her frown deepened.

“Do you realize that we are right now in the middle of a fierce combat with a creature that could potentially wipe us all out?”

My stare was intense and straight.

“This, for me, is not pleasure, Ilse. This is survival. It is the only way I can regain my essence and summon Kassie. I will be able to fight myself.”

Ilse continued to give me a frown of disbelief and loathing. She eventually palmed her face.

“I can’t believe I’m even conceiving such thoughts right now. This is madness.”

I nodded seriously.

“I admit, Ilse, it is madness, but this is my life.”

She gave me a disgusted glare.

“You’re mad.”

I nodded with a smile.

“It’s a great compliment. I am true to my nature, anytime and anywhere.”

Then I fixed her with an intense, even look.

“Please, Ilse, I need to save my friend.”

She sighed.

“Can we at least go to a corner?”

She was right, this was a battlefield. Although Tristan and that weird creature’s battle was closed off by the devastation that was tearing through their surroundings, this was still open ground. As a result, Ilse and I quickly found a spot hidden from sight behind the rubble of the broken gate.

She went down on her knees and drew my zipper down, acting with utmost urgency.

But right in that moment, something howled through the sky and descended with a gathering of wind.

The wind curled around its folded limbs like cyclones, creating massive shockwaves in the air that propelled the white wyvern downward. And at once, it released all that accumulated force in a devastating discharge of momentum.

That shockwave of wind destroyed the entire ground. Before we could do anything, Ilse and I rolled away, barely avoiding the brutal brunt of the attack.

‘What the heck?! Why is it here again?!’

I couldn’t spare a moment to care any less because that bastard was already preparing for another aerial attack.

‘Might be time for me to pull Maggie now…’

But I considered it too dangerous. Maggie had put something on the line to save me the other time, and that was why she had even considered running all the way to Recimiras as an option. Which meant things were at a very tense moment back at the company.

It was up to her to save everyone. So, I couldn’t.

‘Save everyone? Bro, you’ll die right now if you don’t prioritize yourself!’

It was getting difficult to make a proper decision. White Feather was in my Soul Sanctum, as well as Kassie, both exhausted to their bones. Even I was exhausted to my bones and trying to get a good blowjob to replenish my stamina, and this damn Light just chose that moment to come at me.

‘I have to commend his timing…’

A furious storm raged across the landscape. Thunderclaps bloomed across the sky, resounding through the entire landscape like a beast growling angrily. The sky darkened, and despite the nature of the north, it looked as though a wicked rain was about to pelt the entire snowscape.

Of course, this was extraordinary. The only answer could be Tristan’s summon.

Stormwhite.
