[First, let me give a basic explanation of Blessings. This may be redundant for Miyama Kaito-sama, but Blessings bestowed by Gods come in two types: Provisional Blessings and True Blessings. Put simply, a Provisional Blessing is the act of applying Auxiliary Magic on a person using Authority to a target. A True Blessing, on the other hand, involves bringing the recipient within the bounds of one’s Authority…… granting permission to use a portion of that Authority. The case of Lilia Albert is an easy example. She has received a True Blessing from God of Time and Space Chronois, and through that grace she is able to use the Authority of Time, but only with regard to acceleration.]

……There was a lot in that explanation I was hearing for the first time, but there were also parts that made sense. In short, Lilia-san can use a power that stands above magic, Authority, but only for accelerating time, and because it is Authority, not magic, that acceleration cannot be nullified by ordinary Time-Space Magic.

The same goes for Fate-san’s True Blessing, she had explained it as “becoming luckier”, but more accurately, it must be that the Authority of Fate activates in certain elements tied to luck.

[For this reason, when the Gods bestows a True Blessing, they always use the phrase “to be inscribed in conjunction with my name”. Authority is the law of the world, the rules themselves. You can say those who receive a True Blessing gain the power to interfere with those laws, though only in very limited aspects. And the scope of these effects, whether Provisional or True, can be adjusted by the god who bestows them. Olivia-san’s Authority really was a bit special. It’s restricted to the Friendship City, but within that range, it can exert overwhelming power.

The conditions are limited, but within those conditions, it feels almost invincible.
