I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 570: A Thorny Rose That Came with Servants?

Chapter 570: A Thorny Rose That Came with Servants?

Deep within the forest outside the Roselle estate, a dark shadow crawled out of the ground like a worm. Its body was sinister and infectious; wherever it crawled, whatever it moved through wilted and died.

And whatever died turned just as black as its body, infecting the land outward. However, before the shadowy worm could reach even 3 metres from where it crawled out, it was caught by a humanoid entity many times larger than it.

"Ah, that’s where you’ve been." The Gardener raised his gloved hand and pulverised the True Darkness with overwhelming force, forcefully purifying it out of existence. Just this tiny fragment of corruption that was only 50 centimetres long cost him 10% of his overall mana.

With repeated consumption of the mana potion, he had now been able to fully cleanse the area around the estate that was affected last night.

The Gardener scratched the underside of his mask’s beak, pondering as he got up from his crouch and gradually made his way back to the estate. In his right hand was a hard-leather book that had the title:

[Potential Crippling of the Consumption of Potions - Thomas Breckit]

"I wonder if that’s true..." The Gardener muttered that what he held in his hand wasn’t just some ordinary book, but a thesis.

Originally, this thesis had no book, but the Gardener found it more to his liking to have it as one, so he photocopied the thesis from online and sewed it onto the hard leather cover.

It spoke about how the consumption of potions over time would stunt the growth of humans, similar to how microplastics from plastic products would affect humans over time. Except potions would target a person’s Mana Core rather than their physical body.

All in all, it was an interesting read to pass the time while he wandered about.

Upon making it back to the estate...

"He’s out on an errand!? Just the day before, he told me to come here with these servants?!"

... He was met with a sight he didn’t expect to find.

Standing inside the perimeter of the estate was an 8 metre tall silver wyvern, whose body seemed to shift constantly from transparent to opaque - suggesting its scales could become highly reflective at will.

It had an estimated wingspan of 24 metres and razor claws attached that seemed to periodically bend light.

The aura emitted from this monster was a Rank B.

And on its back was a tall individual with a slender body, their curves suggesting they were a woman.

She wore all black and had a rose attached to the right side of her chest, insinuating that she was part of the Roselle family. And had a mask patterned with rose thorns.

This added to the fact that she had black hair, which was a key feature of a Roselle, and spoke Great Melvin, a language which his family prefers over Ancient Keri.

Their voice was also incredibly familiar.

’Someone of the family?’ The Gardener thought, walking around and finding the mansion’s servant standing in front of the wyvern.

The reason why he thought that this mysterious person was a member of his family wasn’t just because of their clothes, their hair, or what language they spoke - those things can be faked with Items and abilities.

However, what couldn’t be faked were Monster Shards, especially one of this strength.

The Silver Glaring Wyvern, whose scales could reflect light so incredibly well that even the slightest bit of light would be able to make it go invisible and had a glare that made even some of the strongest-willed men kneel.

It was a perfect mount for both stealth missions and reconnaissance and was perfectly capable of defending itself if needed in a dire situation.

Houston sweated as he met the glare of the Silver Glaring Wyvern, his body trembling just like the servants behind him. However, to uphold dignity and status as the Head Butler, who remained straight-backed.

"Sir Gardener will be with you soon, Miss Thorn of Roses."

"Tch." The woman, recognised as the Thorn of Roses, clicked her tongue as she slid down the wing of her mount. She then looked back at her passengers.

Thorn raised her raised and swirled it in the air impatiently, causing the three servants she brought to hurriedly leap down and bow in forgiveness.

"Get these servants I brought to the area where my niece’s attendant will be decided, will you? And when you see my brother, tell him to be quick with whatever he’s doing. He’s digging into my time."

After that, she transformed the wyvern back into a glass shard before strolling past the mansion’s servants, making her way into the lavish building.

The Gardener, who was off to the side, let out a sigh. He had completely forgotten that she was arriving today with the contestants for the role of attendant.

Fortunately, he was far enough away from the area that his twin sister’s unconscious mana sense couldn’t detect him.

Watching as she entered the mansion, he wondered:

’I wonder if the two had decided to wake up from their slumber yet...’

"You’ve gotten rather tall, Lillian," Marionette commented, wrapping her arms around the girl’s neck from behind.

For the past few minutes since leaving their room, Marionette had been trying to rest her chin on top of the Rabbit’s head, but was disappointed when she couldn’t.

"It’s almost saddening how much you’ve grown."

"Eh~? You’re sad you can’t tower me anymore~?"

Marionette hummed a bit, playfully smiling, "Well, if you would like to be that straightforward with it. I suppose I am quite sad about that - you were more cuter when shorter than me, after all."

Lillian pouted slightly as she turned her head back, "And so what? I’m not cute anymore in your eyes?"

The Assassin watched as the Rabbit’s eyes found her greatly offended by what she said. She chuckled and turned Lillian’s face further towards hers before pecking her lips, causing them to stop in the middle of a corridor.

Chu.

Marionette then whispered:

"You’re not cute. You’re hot~... Isn’t that what you told me before, Lillian?" Marionette smirked, brushing her thumb against Lillian’s lower lip. "Or perhaps you’re having second thoughts and actually prefer me towering over you—"

"Ahem!"

Before anything could suddenly escalate, the two of them were interrupted by a tall masked woman, who accidentally stumbled upon them.

The woman then tilted her head, her eyes behind her mask fully directed towards Marionette as she muttered in a cold yet somewhat casual voice:

"What the hell is this, niece?"
