I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 596: Be Wary of Red Eyes?

Chapter 596: Be Wary of Red Eyes?

"Be wary of the woman with long black hair and red eyes, master Damien." The Bloodhound labelled #3 warned, inciting a baffled reaction.

"Hah?" Damien breathed out, confused. "Woman with long black hair and red eyes? Can you get any more vagu—ah..." Realisation soon hit him in the face.

Folding his arms, he made a thoughtful expression, rolling back through his memories earlier today, which caused his mood to sour even more as he placed an unconscious hand over his chest - finding it painfully burning to the touch.

Damien scowled, besides Albrecht and made a few royals at the event...

"Tch, so that woman is the cause for all of these idiots going missing? I should’ve known."

Marionette Von Roselle was the only one he was the most wary of; in fact, any Roselle was trouble in and of themselves. However, she was also the one he was most... interested in.

Beauty, status, strength, ruthlessness... She had all that he desired in a woman.

The Bloodhound waited until Damien’s mood had regulated a bit before answering:

"That we are not sure."

"Huh?" Damien raised an eyebrow, visibly perplexed, "Then, why did you tell me to be wary of her?"

Raising his hand, the Bloodhound caused the darkness surrounding each of his colleagues to converge - each of the darknesses transforming into a palm-sized dark centipede that crawled through the air.

Once all six centipedes met, they fused to form a five-metre-wide centipede - whose body seemed to be longer than the length of the room, which was roughly around 15-20 metres.

It had over a hundred legs and emitted a faint black miasma; however, what laid as the key defining features wasn’t its size or Predatory Aura, but its two glowing, slit-pupilled red eyes and four curved horns.

"My Monster Shard, the [Four-Horned Demonic Centipede] - which I had nurtured until it achieved Rank B - had found her presence to be both frightening and attractive to be around." Bloodhound #3 then paused before adding, "My centipede’s senses had never led me astray, so - by my judgement - I think you should keep your distance from her, young master."

"Hmph, don’t underestimate my abilities." Damien scowled cockily, "Unlike you washed-up mercenaries, who could only dream back to your glory days in Jacksmeare, I am still in my prime and growing.

"I entered a B rank Trial when I was 17 and emerged as a Tier 3 mage a year later. And given another year or a few more months of dedicated training, I would surpass you oldies, who only have a couple of decades, maybe centuries, worth of experience to your names.

"By then, maybe I won’t have to rely so heavily on my abilities, unlike when I found you guys and slaughtered your captain, who was still pitifully a Tier 3 after all this time."

The Bloodhounds found themselves severely aggravated and taunted by his words; their maturity unable to hold back the flood of bloodlust that rushed out from their bodies.

"Insolent bastard!"

"How dare you speak ill of our captain, fucker!"

"You speak as though you fought him on equal grounds, when in reality you played dirty and sneak-attacked him from the back!"

"YEAH! You had even taken his treasures for yourself, you wretched thief!"

They screamed hateful slurs at the Darkhound, still livid from the day they were told their beloved captain was killed; told by the man that stood before them now.

Their battle was a planned event; a one-on-one face-to-face! But the Darkhound had to play dirty and called in reinforcements.

Damien smirked as his nose twitched from the distinct smell of rage and bloodlust in the air, causing him to imagine himself in a battlefield where rivers of blood were a common sight.

Ah... this must be the bloodlust of seasoned warriors. He could even smell the familiar, strong stench of iron.

With a cocky smirk, he placed his finger against the side of his head in a mocking manner, causing the Bloodhounds to momentarily withdraw their bloodlust.

"Thief? Played dirty? Sneak-attacked?"

Damien shook his head with an amused smile. He found the Bloodhounds’ reactions and current feelings to be pitifully comical.

"So, what if I’m a thief and had played dirty? You all were once part of a criminal organisation hated across the lands; you have no right to call me a judge, my methods so heinous. And as for your captain, for an old man with so much experience, he should’ve known not to trust a northener so easily, especially when that northener was a hound vying for his ’mountain of bones’.

"And don’t forget, mutts. I still killed that old man with my bare hands, which in turn forced you all into a Blood Binding - be grateful I at least granted you some peasant luxuries in exchange for your forced loyalty - a compensation for killing your oh-so beloved captain."

He then began to lightly tap the side of his head, "But just to remind you... try something, and then BLACK. Dead instantly. And remember, I’ll always know when you guys are planning a betrayal."

Damien then turned to face the door, walking to leave with a whistle.

"Anyway, I wasted enough time here, so I should return to entertain my guests - maybe, even score myself a smoking-hot woman in the process. Make sure to find out who is the cause of this annoying missing persons shit fast. Not like it’ll mean much anyway after tomorrow night."

Door shuts.

With their eyes glued to the closed door, the Bloodhounds equally let out a deep sigh of resentment.

"I hate that guy."

"He truly is scum."

"I don’t think I’ve met anyone more heinous than him, even in Jacksmeare..."

Everyone turned to look at him.

"Wasn’t that because you only ever focused on missions rather than socialising?"

"Well, yeah, but still..."

After a few moments to reminisce about the past, they eventually returned to talk about work matters.

"Who is it do you think?"

"I’m not sure... My items focused on these things are failing to track them down; the target must have an item that disrupts these sorts of things."

"If so, then they must be part of an extremely wealthy family. Perhaps, one of the royals?"

"A royal? Are you an idiot? If a royal attacked a noble of another nation, that’s immediately a call for war between the countries."

"Well, let’s not rule them out at least... What royals do we even have in the first place?"

"We have the Second Prince from the South, the youngest Princess of the North, the Third Prince from the west, and a couple of Scions from the East - apart from the South Prince, the North Princess, and the Scion of Kirisaya, the rest have been staying rather silent... How about that scum’s friend? Albrecht Von Hohenfall?"

"It’s definitely not him; although he’s not a good guy, he wouldn’t do anything immoral without reason or pointless things like this. You know, I still haven’t figured out why these guys went missing in the first place."

Everyone paused at his last sentence, falling into thought, before shaking their heads.

One of them muttered, "The perpetrator attacked nobles of lesser status compared to the bigger nobles, could that be a reason?"

"No, no. It must be something about those nobles’ backgrounds. I think I remembered one of them being some kind of corrupt judge. Perhaps, the perpetrator is doing this for some kind of heroic reason?"

"Hm... Well, nonetheless, we will have to figure it out soon."

Soon, the Bloodhound who owned the [Four-Horned Demonic Centipede] ordered it to disperse, giving miniaturised versions to the other members.

"And what if we do figure them out?" One asked, watching as the darkness slowly began to wrap around him - the ability of the [Four-Horned Demonic Centipede].

"We can only just report it." Another member responded in a deep voice, "We weren’t given orders to confront them, and I don’t feel like helping that bastard anymore than I am ordered to."

Afterwards, all of them sank into the darkness - using it as a medium to swiftly travel around undetected.
