Chapter 635: Gathering for a small group of Royalties?
Far away from the outer ring and in the innermost ring was a woman with long silver hair and a gorgeous figure.
This was Silvia Von Silversteel, one of the princesses of the north, Nolstra.
She had an elegant posture as she sat upright on a sofa; her finger hooked around the handle of a teacup. Currently, she was in a room with the more prominent nobles.
A few examples would be the Four Scions of the East, the Nightraven, and a Prince from the South.
That had tried to get Marionette, but she didn’t reply.

Looking up, Silvia watched as the chandelier hanging above them wiggled and shook, prompting her to raise a confused eyebrow.
"Is the building shaking? Do earthquakes happen regularly in the Underworld?" She asked, looking towards Emilio Von Nightraven.
The young, black-haired youth shook his head calmly in front of the princess, "No. Unlike the surface, we Underworlders don’t experience natural disasters, even on a small scale."
Contrary to how he was around Lillian, Emilio was calm and polite, holding a subtle trace of indifference in his eyes as he looked around. And despite being one of the weaker individuals in the room, he held a trace of arrogance and pomp in his voice.
Of course, these attitudes were carefully hidden so as not to accidentally offend any of the nobles in the room.
Silvia held her chin, processing what she had just heard, before flinching at a stomp.
DUM.
"Hahaha! So, then that must mean there’s a battle nearby, yes!?"
Looking up, she found a tall and broad-shouldered man; he was over 6ft4 and had muscles that were even visible under his black suit. He had long spiky blonde hair - like it had made contact with electricity - and dark red eyes, which gave him a fiery and energetic impression.
This man was the Scion of the Raiketsu Dynasty, as well as having the title of one of the Six Great Prodigies; his name was Torahiko Von Raiketsu.
He was the oldest out of three siblings and was a man with a big mouth and an insatiable lust for battle, a nature of his that was always quelled due to his family line of business.
All four dynasties had a part to play, besides owning a large amount of land.
The Kirisaya Dynasty were in charge of crafting high-quality weapons for the nation’s military and government.
The Hyosetsu Dynasty were in charge of supporting Luton’s navy and making sure that the deep waters around the nation were free of monsters.
The Kazehime Dynasty were in charge of the air, supporting the nation’s military air force and keeping an eye out for anything suspicious that would occur in the sky.
And lastly, the Raiketsu family - his family - were in charge of dealing with the constant Outbreaks across the entirety of Luton.
Torahiko, similar to Damien, was born with immense physical prowess that was further honed through harsh and rigorous training. But unlike the Darkhound, the Raiketsu only used his strength for more selfless and admirable goals, like putting his life on the line to stop a B-rank Outbreak several years ago.
Mizuki, the Scion of the Kirisaya, watched as his dear friend became riled up at the sound of battle; the corner of his lips twitched.
Waving his hand and gesturing, Mizuki said:
"It can’t be a fight, especially not in this Ring, considering it’s constantly being monitored."
A white-haired woman beside him nodded as well. This was Yukihana, the Scion of the Hyosetsu Dynasty.
"Mizuki is right, unless the battle is happening in the outermost rings of this territory, the shaking must just be something happening downstairs."
The tall man let out an exaggerated sigh as he sat back down, now resting the side of his face into his fist. "I suppose you both are right, but couldn’t you two let me enjoy the thought a little more?"
"No." x2
Torahiko waved his hand dismissively, his face twitching from their unified answer. Then, he turned to a pale-green-haired man, who was heavily focused on his cup of tea; his eyes closed for maximum enjoyment.
"Enjoying your tea as always, huh, Nagi?"
The young man slowly opened his eyes. This was Nagikaze, the Scion of the Kazehime Dynasty.
"I’m the one who brought the tea, so how about you let me indulge in it?"
"Woah, woah! I was just asking." Torahiko raised his hands with wide eyes, feigning an offended look.
Watching as the four interacted, Silvia smiled a bit before turning to another individual of royal lineage.
Reph was completely settled in his couch, his back seemingly sinking into the soft cushion, as a tired look remained constant on his face; he yawned slightly.
Despite his lazy and sluggish appearance, his clothes still remained tucked and tidy, although no one knew for how long.
That was because, for the past three hours, he was stuck in this room, forced to hang out with the people here.
After he had left the Darkhound’s home for his given residence, Reph was only given an hour or so to relax before being forced to host a hangout spot at his place.
If it were for people he didn’t know, he would’ve promptly declined and returned to bed. But unfortunately, he had known most of the people around him since he was young.
Thus...
’I want to go back to bed...’
He couldn’t really refuse.
Silvia, seeing as he was becoming rather absent-minded, decided to bring him back, "So, Reph, how’s that Act working out? I’ve heard it’s been giving your family some trouble to put in place. What’s it called again? The Public Safety and..."
"... Magic Responsibility Act."
Sitting up, Reph leaned back into his seat; his arm hooked over his backrest.
"There’s been bumps along the way, but it’s going alright now that we have some more added support from the Roselle family."
Silvia smiled wryly when she heard this.
"You make it sound like the Roselles have more power over your family, quite strange, considering you’re of royalty..."
The Second Prince could only lazily shrug, "Unlike yours, the South is more of a democratic and utilitarian nation. My family may have power, resources, and wealth, but we can’t do much if our subjects hate and refuse to work for us."
He then paused for a brief moment and muttered:
"Whatever brings the greatest joy to our people is our goal... Unfortunately, there are just some people that only want to help themsevles..."
Reph referred to the nobles who went against his family in the political battle.
"I see..." Silvia quietly murmured before smiling. She gave an acknowledging nod, "I hope everything moves smoothly for your family."
"You have my thanks." Reph nodded back before slouching back into his seat again.
Then, he glanced down at the table in front of his chair, staring at the massive board spread across the table.
The board was covered with cartoonish images and had small, thumb-sized metal pieces of everyday objects on it. Reph narrowed his eyes before looking over his shoulder, staring at a tall tower of boxes.
For the past 3 hours, they had entertained themselves with board games.
Regardless of status, age, or gender, everyone should be able to enjoy things that may be seen as childish or unbecoming.
"Are we going for another round?" He asked.
"I don’t see why not."
Reph nodded and moved his piece back to the start. Then, he paused and randomly asked:
"Is it a good idea not to invite the Bloodhound? Out of pure curiousity."
Everyone glanced at each other with uncertainty in their eyes. They then responded in unison:
"We hate that guy." x5
