Immortal Divine Tribulation

Chapter 200: Departure on the Dragon

Chapter 200: Departure on the Dragon

Tian Fan sighed deeply, having witnessed Zi Ying lose her temper for the first time. It made him a bit afraid; he never expected this girl to have such a fierce side. However, the more he looked, the cuter she seemed.

At the Murong Clan, the five Immortal Ascension Experts gaped in disbelief. They could hardly believe that this girl, who looked no older than twenty, had already stepped into the Immortal Ascension Realm. In the distance, a group of people stood frozen in shock.

“How is this possible? How can this be?” The five of them widened their eyes, muttering to themselves in disbelief.

In the vast square of the Murong Clan, everyone found it hard to accept this fact. A twenty-year-old Immortal Ascension Expert? Such records didn’t even exist in ancient texts. This was beyond the definition of a genius; it could only be described as a miracle—an absolute miracle.

“Hmph, so what if she’s an Immortal Ascension Expert? This is my Murong Clan! You have no chance of leaving here!” At that moment, an elder from the Murong family finally snapped out of his shock. He wore a cold smile, his eyes glinting with a hint of murderous intent. Such talent was too terrifying, and they wanted to keep her.

“Do you dare to show murderous intent?” Tian Fan’s eyes sharpened at once. These five dared to threaten Zi Ying.

“Those who desecrate the sanctity of our land cannot be spared, and that includes those from the Immortal Ascension Realm!” the Supreme Elder of the Murong Clan said coldly.

“They must die!” An elder from the Divine Brilliance Dynasty stepped forward, a brilliant divine spear appearing in his hand, shining with immeasurable divine light, piercing through the Void.

Meanwhile, the other four elders did not remain silent either; they unleashed their most powerful attacks. In an instant, the sky was filled with terrifying divine might, and streams of dazzling divine radiance rained down toward the ground. They understood the horror of such a person—reaching the Immortal Ascension Realm at the age of twenty was no joke. If given time, in another ten years, there might not be anyone in this world who could suppress her. For a martial arts holy land, they could not allow such a thing to happen.

Boom! The five Immortal Ascension Experts launched their attacks simultaneously. The sheer force was terrifying; the heavens instantly cracked open, time and space shattered, and the sky turned pitch black, with lightning flashing as if the Heavenly Tribulation had descended.

“Run!” In the distance, a group of people, terrified, felt their legs weaken as they fled far away, retreating dozens of miles. All the buildings of the Murong Clan trembled, and those presiding over this marriage alliance retreated, keeping their distance.

There was no choice; the clash of Immortal Ascension Experts was not something these people could participate in. Even someone at the Peak of Primordial Unity would face certain death if they entered.

Even Tian Fan felt the threat of death. Although his physical body was comparable to a deity, his Cultivation Level had not yet reached a sufficient degree. In a real battle, he could not compete with those from the Immortal Ascension Realm unless he broke through again; perhaps then he could contend with those at the early stage of Immortal Ascension.

Standing below, he wasn’t overly worried. After all, she was from the Immortal Ascension Realm, and more importantly, the little dragon was perched on her shoulder. No one here could harm her.

“Ying Ying…” The little dragon lay on Zi Ying’s shoulder, its big, watery eyes blinking at her. Mu Yi and Murong Qiu both showed expressions of immense anxiety.

“It’s okay, little dragon…” Zi Ying softly reassured the little creature, waving her right hand forward. Thousands of golden divine swords shot out like tiny silver needles, shaking the ground and causing the stars and moon to tremble. From afar, the sky was filled with golden Sword Qi, dense and overwhelming, making one’s scalp tingle with fear.

Boom…

A loud sound echoed as large swathes of the Void shattered. In the heavens, the five experts retreated simultaneously, their faces pale. A faint purple-gold barrier surrounded Zi Ying, blocking all the chaotic currents of time and space outside.

Little Dragon perched on her shoulder, conjuring a barrier against the wind and rain. The attacks from these people couldn’t penetrate at all. Could a mere Immortal Ascension Realm individual break through the defenses of a Divine Dragon? It was clearly impossible.

“Sword Twenty-Three! You are from the Shangguan Family!”

Upon witnessing the sword technique displayed by Zi Ying, several elders changed their expressions. One couldn’t help but acknowledge that the supreme skills of the Shangguan Family were indeed renowned across the world, known to all and sundry. However, there was no way around it; they were simply too powerful, their offensive capabilities unmatched, overshadowing several eras. Even the “Hua Long Dao” of the Soaring Dragon Dynasty couldn’t compare.

“From the Shangguan Family!?”

The crowd in the distance turned pale upon hearing the elders’ words. This twenty-year-old Immortal Ascension Expert was actually from the Shangguan Family.

“From the Shangguan Family? Why are you stopping me from dealing with the Murong Family? Are you not afraid of your family head’s wrath?”

One of the Supreme Elders from the Murong Family spoke in a deep voice. Since she was from the Shangguan Family and an Immortal Ascension Realm individual, although they were not afraid, they still had to consider the super existence of Shangguan Yuntian. They couldn’t act recklessly.

There was no denying that a person’s reputation could cast a long shadow. Shangguan Yuntian’s formidable fame on the Divine Martial Continent was certainly not unfounded, especially for beings of their caliber, who understood the terror of that individual all too well.

At this moment, their only hope was to bring up her family head, hoping that this person from the Shangguan Family would retreat out of respect for clan rules, thus avoiding conflict with the Shangguan Family.

“He dares! This young lady has already toppled his lair!”

Zi Ying declared. The elders were momentarily stunned by her fierce words, and many onlookers, just regaining their senses, were petrified by her statement.

Below, Tian Fan wiped the sweat from his forehead. Zi Ying was too fierce, but he had no doubt about her words. From what he had seen and felt, as well as from the snippets of conversation with the Shangguan Brothers, it was easy to imagine that not only could she topple Shangguan Yuntian’s room, but she could also bring down the entire Shangguan Family. After all, she was the little ancestor of the entire Shangguan Family.

The Murong Family members felt overwhelmed, almost wanting to bang their heads against a wall. No matter how they looked at it, this girl held an unimaginably powerful position within the Shangguan Family, seemingly even commanding respect from Shangguan Yuntian. They couldn’t fathom how marrying a clan member from their family had attracted such a formidable group.

“In one word, we want to take her away. We don’t wish to talk to you any longer!” Zi Ying pointed at Murong Qiu below.

“You all cannot leave. I don’t care who you are; having killed the prince of the Divine Brilliance Dynasty, he must die!”

Just as the elders of the Murong Family remained silent, an elder from the Divine Brilliance Dynasty stepped forward, his words icy and his gaze chilling as he fixed his eyes on Tian Fan.

“You wish! It was that rogue who first insulted me. Do you want my family head to come and reason with you?” Zi Ying retorted, completely blocking the elder’s imposing aura.

Tian Fan was speechless. He hadn’t expected Zi Ying would threaten others, suggesting that Shangguan Yuntian come to reason with them. These people truly underestimated her; a mere avatar could suppress three Immortal Ascension Experts without any resistance.

“I don’t care what happens; that woman cannot be taken away. He must die, and no one can save him!” the elder declared coldly.

“I also don’t care what you think; anyway, we are taking her away today, and you shouldn’t obstruct us.” Zi Ying shot back.

“Alright, alright, I will see just how powerful this genius from the Shangguan Family really is.”

The elder said coldly, stepping forward. A terrifying aura pressed down on Zi Ying. He had already entered the Immortal Ascension Realm for many years, with extraordinary means.

Buzzzzz…

The Void trembled as a deep abyss wheel appeared in his hand, flying towards Zi Ying at incredible speed. He transformed into a wisp of green smoke, charging towards her, intending to capture her.

“Hmph…”

Zi Ying let out a cold snort, and a divine sword formation emerged, with countless ancient swords inserted into the sword disk. At that moment, all of them began to tremble, emanating a sacred and majestic aura from the sword formation above. Zi Ying looked as if she were the celestial goddess descending from the heavens, exuding an unparalleled holiness, dignity, and solemnity. The myriad ancient swords hovering above her head quivered gently, producing a terrifying sword cry, causing many buildings of the Murong Clan to shake violently. If it weren’t for the protective formation in place, these palaces would have shattered long ago.

“Pfft…” An elder from the Divine Brilliance Dynasty was instantly blasted away, spitting blood and turning pale as a ghost.

“How terrifying!” Tian Fan exclaimed in astonishment. This was the thirteenth sword; he remembered that on the Immortal Island of No Return, Zi Ying had used this move against that evil old corpse, but now it seemed even more fearsome, as if it could shatter time and space itself.

“Who dares to be so reckless in my Murong Clan!” Suddenly, three incredibly powerful auras surged from the distance. Several elders emerged from the deepest part of the Murong Clan, each radiating an overwhelmingly terrifying presence, like ancient beasts from primordial times. Their appearance caused a tremendous uproar, even Zi Ying’s expression changed, and she pouted, saying, “A few old geezers, and they still haven’t laid down in their coffins.”

Tian Fan, standing beside her, felt utterly speechless; this girl was truly something.

“Greetings, ancestors!” The elders of the Murong family simultaneously bowed to the newcomers, indicating their high status was frighteningly significant, undoubtedly belonging to those super ancient relics.

“You are too bold. Do you think my Murong Clan is just any place? You come and go as you please? The Shangguan Family is nothing to be afraid of. This farce ends here; all of you stay!” One elder, whose skin was wrinkled like tree bark, spoke calmly, gripping a cane and stepping forward.

“It’s them! They’ve actually emerged from seclusion and are still alive!” Mu Yi and Murong Qiu both revealed expressions of terror, their bodies trembling involuntarily. As members of the Murong Clan, they understood the horror of the individuals before them all too well.

“It’s time to end this; let’s go,” Tian Fan said lightly, pulling Zi Ying downwards to join Murong Qiu and the others.

“You… I…” Murong Qiu spoke weakly, glancing up at the group above.

“It’s fine; just come to my house. They won’t dare to come after us,” Zi Ying reassured her.

“Who are you?” It was only at this moment that Murong Qiu seriously examined the person before her, feeling a twinge of jealousy at her breathtaking beauty.

“I am Zi Ying; my name is Zi Ying.”

“It’s you! You are Zi Ying?” Murong Qiu said, somewhat surprised.

“You know me?” Zi Ying asked, puzzled.

“Yeah, he almost went mad for you; you’re truly fortunate,” Murong Qiu glanced at Tian Fan, causing Zi Ying’s jade-like face to flush.

“Hehe, aren’t you also very fortunate? You have these friends,” Zi Ying replied, leaving Murong Qiu momentarily stunned before she broke into laughter.

“If you all want to leave, stay here,” the elder who had just emerged spoke calmly and indifferently, as if everything was under his control, but the group completely ignored him, not even glancing his way.

“Alright, it’s getting late; let’s go.”

Boom!

As Tian Fan’s words fell, a small dragon flew up from Zi Ying’s shoulder, its body expanding to thirty zhang in length, and the terrifying Dragon Might surged forth, instantly sending the ancient elder of the Murong Clan flying away.

Everyone’s faces displayed immense shock. Although they had long known that Tian Fan had such a divine dragon by his side, witnessing the majestic dragon body in person left them utterly astounded.

“Father, take care…”

Murong Qiu choked back her tears as she slowly knelt on the ground, bowing three times to the middle-aged man in green robes on the Sacred Altar from a distance. Zi Ying helped her up, gently brushing the dust off her forehead with a pained expression.

“Let’s go…” Tian Fan said with a smile to the others. The Divine Dragon gradually lowered itself, positioning itself in front of them, and one by one, they stepped onto its back. Mu Yi was overwhelmed with excitement and a bit anxious; he never imagined that someone like him would have the chance to ride a Divine Beast one day.

“Krrroar…”

A resounding dragon’s roar echoed out as the little creature took off with the group, charging into the distance like a mischievous act from a drama club. The ancient palaces of the Murong Clan were shaken to pieces, yet the onlookers in the distance remained unaffected.

The remaining group stood there, dumbfounded, until a few reluctant roars broke the silence, snapping them back to reality. They were too powerful, entering the ancient martial arts family so forcefully, interrupting the wedding, killing the prince of the Divine Brilliance Dynasty, and leaving on the Divine Dragon. The Murong family’s reputation had been thoroughly tarnished this time.

“Murong Da, I’m sorry, thank you…”

On a small hill in the Southern Domain, Murong Qiu knelt before a tomb of a well-dressed figure, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably. The others watched from a distance, unsure how to comfort her, silently waiting in the background.

It wasn’t until the sun rose the next day that Murong Qiu and Mu Yi stood up.

“Let’s go…” she finally smiled, wiping away the tear stains at the corners of her eyes, looking serene and charming as she affectionately linked arms with Zi Ying.

“Let’s go home!” Little Phoenix chirped happily from atop Murong Qiu’s head.

“Let’s go!” Tian Fan said, as the Divine Dragon transformed back into its thirty-zhang length, carrying them towards the central Shangguan Family.
