Immortal Divine Tribulation

Chapter 226: The Great Sealing Sect Faces Calamity

Chapter 226: The Great Sealing Sect Faces Calamity

The scene was silent as a grave, with one person and one dragon working together in perfect harmony, like partners who had fought side by side for tens of thousands of years.

In the blink of an eye, they defeated the sovereign of the Heavenborn Clan, leaving him utterly destroyed in both body and spirit, shocking everyone present into speechlessness. After all, this was no ordinary expert; he was a super powerhouse at the mid-stage of the Human Monarch realm.

“Kill them!” After a long moment, a Heavenborn Expert finally regained his senses. His eyes were red with fury as he let out a deep roar. All the strong members of the Heavenborn Clan gathered on this battlefield, with one particularly tall figure standing at the front—there was no doubt that it was him; he was currently leading nearly a hundred Heavenborn warriors.

Dozens of experts joined forces to unleash their divine powers in an attack, creating a terrifying sea of destructive energy above in the sky. This display truly exuded an overwhelming pressure; their roars shattered the heavens. The black armor worn by these individuals gleamed ominously—crafted from special materials, these battle suits were anything but ordinary.

“Let’s go!” Tian Fan said coldly as he charged forward alongside Little Dragon.

At this moment in time, there were no existences at the Human Monarch level within this realm; who could possibly withstand the might of the Purple Gold Divine Dragon? This little fellow had become the absolute ruler of this battlefield. Even if Immortal-level powerhouses were formidable, they appeared as weak as ants when faced with a mid-stage dragon from the Human Monarch realm.

The sounds of piercing and slicing filled the air—the outcome could be easily imagined: none would survive; they would all perish, confirming Tian Fan’s earlier words as he stepped over their corpses to move ahead.

“There are too many Heavenborns; what should we do next?” Zi Ying asked. The ground beneath them teemed with Heavenborn warriors, making it hard to decide which way to strike.

“To Great Sealing Sect! We must head for Great Sealing Sect!” Tian Fan declared. Right now, his greatest concern was for Li Yunyang and others’ safety. The Shangguan family and Soaring Dragon Dynasty were martial arts sanctuaries and likely had corresponding measures against such threats; however, Great Sealing Sect was different—it would be extremely difficult to defend against.

The group understood his feelings well enough; boundless dragon might surged through heaven and earth as they raced towards Great Sealing Sect like a golden dragon streaking across ten thousand miles.

At this moment high above in the skies looking down below revealed mountains and rivers lay in ruins amidst smoke and flames—a battlefield ravaged by war where tens of thousands from the Heavenborn Clan descended upon them. Compared to this world’s strength at present day versus millions of years ago when powerful beings thrived—almost all had perished now—an old man once half-alive remarked that true backbone forces from their clan had yet to arrive; these recent arrivals over nearly ten thousand years only represented just a fraction—a mere drop in an ocean compared to their overall power.

During their journey there, Tian Fan found himself wanting to intervene several times but ultimately refrained each time. Instead, he unleashed hundreds of beams of destructive sword light downward—he couldn’t save everyone; he simply didn’t possess that kind of strength right now—the most important thing was ensuring his friends survived safely.

The Divine Dragon flew swiftly until soon enough they could see Great Sealing Sect looming ahead—a massive ancient warship hovered over it made from divine stones polished until they shone darkly—a chilling aura emanated from it that commanded respect—and devastation struck Great Sealing Sect mercilessly: blood stained every inch below across thousands upon thousands steps leading up to numerous palaces reduced almost entirely into ruins now.

“You have one last chance: submit or die!” Beneath that ominous warship stood several armored warriors from Heavenborn Clan whose expressions remained indifferent while delivering cold words as countless corpses littered beneath their feet—their weapons rusted yet tinged crimson glinted with deadly chill.

“I’ll submit to your ancestors!”

Li Yunyang roared, his eyes blood-red. The bodies lying on the ground were all his brothers from Great Sealing Sect, family members he lived with daily; yet at this moment, they had turned into cold corpses. Many of them couldn’t even have their bodies preserved. He wished he could devour these people alive. Now he had already reached the peak of Cloud Heaven, and his talent was extraordinary; in terms of the Divine Martial Continent, he could be considered a strong warrior. However, compared to this battle, it felt utterly insignificant.

One person stood expressionless and said nothing; perhaps in their hearts, Li Yunyang and the others didn’t even qualify for a conversation with them. His eyes shot out two beams of divine light towards Li Yunyang, piercing through a void that left everyone feeling horrified—how could such power be countered?

Boom!

In front of Li Yunyang, an old man dressed as a Taoist waved his hand to immediately disperse the two beams of light into a rain of brilliance scattered across the sky. He glared at the returning Heavenborn expert ahead and said: “To strike against a junior at the Cloud Heaven level, is that all the courage your Heavenborn Race possesses?”

Behind him were still about ten members remaining from Great Sealing Sect. Li Yunyang and Sun Yueying had survived, and beside them was their sect leader Sun Shennan, whose body was also drenched in blood as he supported himself with his reverse dragon blade.

“The law of nature is survival of the fittest; this is the universal law. Because our clan is powerful, you must submit—this is your last chance: obedience or death!” The cold voice echoed forth—the Heavenborn Clan members displayed no emotion; they aimed not only to hone themselves in this world but also to completely conquer this territory to continue what their ancestors from millions of years ago failed to accomplish.

“Then let’s fight!” The old man said solemnly as he charged forward directly. If Tian Fan were present here, he would surely be astonished and petrified instantly; this unscrupulous old scammer was indeed terrifying as he managed to hold off five experts from the Heavenborn Clan single-handedly. With just a wave of his hand, one person was sent spitting blood backward while another was kicked away.

“Good! Fight well! Master kill them for Yuhua! For Difu! Take revenge for our brothers!” Li Yunyang shouted hoarsely with tears streaming down his tiger-like eyes. He watched helplessly as several brothers were pierced by enemy spears while he couldn’t provide any aid. If it weren’t for the old man returning at such a critical moment, survival would have been impossible for him too; everything here would have been completely obliterated.

“You lowly race has offended heavenly might!” Someone scoffed coldly as they walked toward them and extended their massive hand downward with forceful intent.

Sun Shennan gasped in shock and disregarded his injuries to forcibly channel Qi into his reverse dragon blade which shone brilliantly against that big hand; however after just one clash he was sent flying back while spitting blood—his vision blurred.

“Grandpa…”

“Leader…”

The remaining survivors cried out loudly as they helped lift Sun Shennan from the ground; everyone’s eyes brimmed with tears while Li Yunyang let out another roar grabbing up the reverse dragon blade on the ground before charging fiercely toward that person opposite him.

“A mere spark dares contend with a bright moon? Die!” That person coldly stated with indifference as their descending palm continued its relentless pressure like an enormous mountain bearing down upon him—Li Yunyang suddenly found himself unable to move.

“Pfft…” Blood mist erupted forth as everyone showed expressions of surprise because Li Yunyang remained unharmed while that Heavenborn Clan expert who attacked was instantaneously crushed by someone else—a white figure now stood behind them facing away from view exuding boundless killing intent…
