Chapter 438: Making A Path
Chapter 438: Making A Path
After entering his true form, he began rapidly devouring immortal grade food.
After the reset, his cooking had entered celestial grade.
Compared to celestial grade cooking, immortal grade might as well be the mortal realm. Although he couldn’t make celestial grade food since he lacked celestial qi, immortal grade food was now as easy as snapping his fingers.
Combined with the number of cooking clones he had...
As he consumed more and more, his qi continued growing. Before long, he reached the second layer of the tribulation realm, then the third, the fifth, and the eighth.
He was still not done, consuming food at a rate that put his production speed to shame.
The tenth layer... he watched his experience growing rapidly in the system, but he didn’t stop. He continued eating even more - he was still hungry. This was nothing. He even began consuming the food alongside the space around it.
Then he felt his qi reach a bottleneck.
Although the qi itself continued increasing as he ate, his cultivation didn’t budge whatsoever. This was the end of his path.
He stopped eating for a moment. The space around him slowly began to restore itself. He looked at the system screen.
[Spirit: Tribulation Transcendence: 10th Layer (10,000,000e5/10,000,000e5)]
He was at maximum experience, but he couldn’t break through.
He sighed. It was because of the path. One needed a path to advance to immortality. He couldn’t access the immortal tribulation path since he was invisible to the heavenly dao, and he couldn’t access the alternative ’perfect being’ path since he wasn’t from this world.
Since this was the case, Xiang Yu decided to use an alternate method he had been developing for a while now.
He looked at the size of genuine space in his spiritual sea. After the reset, his genuine space had been five million miles across. But he had used the chance of his soul integration to advance another chunk, essentially doubling the size. Now he had the minimum ten million miles he needed to make a star.
This was Xiang Yu’s plan... If the world couldn’t award him the mahayana realm, he would just make a world that could award him this path.
As simple as that.
Although he wouldn’t be inside the world exactly, the world would be inside him, and he would be the heavenly dao of that world. So he should be able to grant himself the path. Now that he thought about it, he should even be able to make an immortal tribulation path for the new world. He just needed to create an immortal realm in his world. But he was thinking too far ahead - he hadn’t even begun the process yet.
This time, he didn’t use the law of absolute source to make laws first. This was because he didn’t want to lack energy at the moment when he needed it most. After all, a genuine world would require quite a lot of energy to create. He also wanted to use the law of absolute source for the creation process. What better to use to create the world than the source of everything? If he used the absolute source to create the world, he was sure he would acquire all the three thousand laws.
The way he was going to do it was put his intent for world creation into his absolute source law.
He would then condense this absolute source energy with his intent into a tiny singularity and let it explode in his genuine space. When it exploded, it would act just like the beginning of the world, creating the three thousand concepts. It didn’t need to create them at the same mastery as the law of absolute source, so this would save immense energy.
Even so, he felt this might not be enough, so he was going to burn his one hundred stars for energy if needed. When the three thousand laws formed, the intent in the condensed energy would guide the laws and bend them to form a world.
...
Inside the spiritual sea, Xiang Yu’s soul held the condensed source energy in his hand.
He then threw the energy. The moment he threw it, he detonated it instantly and left his body.
Xiang Yu had already formed another body where his soul took residence after leaving. The reason he left the spiritual sea was so that in case things went extremely wrong, he could just recreate his body and act like it never happened.
If his soul remained in the spiritual sea, it might be caught in the explosion and be destroyed.
Though even as he did this for his safety, he couldn’t help but shed a tear for all the experience he could’ve gotten if he had exposed his soul to the explosion.
Inside the spiritual sea, the light clone watched the explosion closely. The laws were already beginning to form. Xiang Yu thought to himself that everything was going as planned. Now he just needed to hope that nothing went wrong and his intent would be able to shape the concepts into a world.
Otherwise, the rogue concepts might clash and destroy his entire spiritual sea.
As the concepts were born, they slowly began moving, being woven gradually into a world.
Xiang Yu thought to himself that the way the absolute source was creating a world was simple - just using the absolute bare minimum law concepts. Even concepts that he already had understanding in didn’t matter.
The absolute source law just recreated them at the lowest level. This wasn’t an error but rather by design, as high-level laws could lead to complications with energy requirements and such.
He looked at the world creation. It was progressing nicely. Even so, he was still nervous.
He looked at the imaginary space where twenty stars had already been burned to exhaustion, disappearing into nothingness. Even though the laws just formed in their most basic form, making and maintaining them was proving to be quite the struggle energy-wise.
He gritted his teeth and burned another thirty stars.
Outside in the real world, he was also constantly devouring loads of immortal food, replenishing his energy.
The light clone stared nervously at the laws that were beginning to form the outline of a world.
