His cook profession upgraded to spirit chef, much like the spirit farmer profession back in the day.
He used the upgrade opportunity to advance the cultivation library to dao level.
After another round of research, blacksmithing evolved to soul forger, and he used this chance again for the cultivation library, taking it all the way to creation level.
He tried several more rounds of research to see if he could advance another profession so he could push the cultivation library to source level, but had no success. After a long time, he finally figured something out.
By combining soul forger, spirit chef, alchemist, and architect, he created the artisan profession. The only problem was that this profession didn’t have any experience points whatsoever.
But this was solved by the fact that it allowed him to make pretty much anything from the original professions, so long as he had the required materials and energy, of course. This meant if he had source qi, he could make source level spirit food. Or if he had source qi and source level materials, he could make source level weapons. So in the end, the limit was himself.
For the new artisan profession, he tried using the chance to upgrade the cultivation library to source level but failed. Just like he had expected, the limit was creation level. Well, either way, this pretty much confirmed to him that the creation realm was the last realm before source level.
He began reviewing the information he had received from the dao and creation levels.
There was quite a bit of information on the dao level – even more than the sage realm. He hadn’t expected this. From what he saw in the information, the original primordial creatures were all dao level entities and the others were their descendants, so it made sense that the dao level had the most knowledge since it was the eldest.
The amount of knowledge in the dao realm didn’t disappoint, but that of the creation realm sure did. It was all about how the heavenly dao and the world tree made chaos and life, nothing more. He sighed. Well, these two entities were like robots and were also born in this realm, so there really wasn’t much information to collect.
Still, he managed to confirm something – there was no creation level bloodline. The world tree and heavenly dao were just primordials in their roots. They just happened to have some source power.
Well, he supposed that was fine. He didn’t want to advance his bloodline two more times just to reach source level.
Xiang Yu returned his attention to the dao realm.
He thought to himself that the dao realm was quite interesting. If the signature ability of the sage realm was the ability to see through alternate paths of reality, the signature ability of the dao realm was seeing through different planes of existence.
The planes of existence could be seen as different dimensions. There were countless of them, but the easiest ones to access were the dream realm, mirror world, and the netherworld.
The dream plane was where one traveled when they dreamt. Xiang Yu hadn’t expected this to actually be a genuine dimension. He was glad he hadn’t dreamt for quite a while – he didn’t want to meet some overpowered monster in the dream realm and have his path ended before it even began.
As for the mirror world, it was the realm inside mirrors. Xiang Yu didn’t really understand it much. And the netherworld was the simplest of all. It was where souls of the dead went to enter the cycle of reincarnation.
Though it wasn’t all that important since people in the god realm and above could bypass this and reincarnate themselves. Though this was more like soul transfer than reincarnation.
It seemed that for strong people, this would only happen if their soul was destroyed to the extent that only a tiny bit remained. And if even this was destroyed, there was probably no hope for them unless they had some sort of anchoring concept like him.

Xiang Yu paid attention to the chaos inside him.
It had just been an hour since he formed it, yet a hundred thousand years had already passed within. In this time, civilizations had formed and fallen. Intelligent creatures had discovered most of his inheritance and had advanced greatly in cultivation. With the help of his many treasures, the first generation of cultivators were already able to enter the celestial realms.
The population had also increased greatly, and a small portion of the chaos was already occupied. They still had far to go to conquer the entire chaos though.
Since they were just at the celestial realm, they were yet to be able to travel between multiple universes, so they remained in their own isolated bubbles in the endless chaos.
After they entered the god realm, they could move across universes and populate even more of the chaos. And when they entered the sage realms, then the chaos would truly be filled as they would be able to move across multiverses.
For now, this was the limit of his chaos. If he advanced his understanding of concepts even more and touched upon the dao, he would be able to make even more complex systems and introduce multiple planes of existence.
He exhaled. It was time to speed up the advancement rate. He looked into his knowledge about the dao realm and smiled as he examined the dao bodies creation method. He knew all the conditions for the activation of all three thousand dao bodies. With this, he should be able to easily make sages.
He explored all this information and simplified it, taking out the most important parts and sending them into the chaos. The people of the chaos would just notice the opening of these new secret realms and go in to fight for fame and fortune.
Within these new secret realms, Xiang Yu would reward the best performers by unlocking a fitting dao body for them.
In just a minute, two thousand years had passed and many experts with dao bodies were roaming the chaos. Now all that was left was to add some powerful bloodlines to increase the potential of future generations.
