“You can’t win,” she said, her voice coming from everywhere at once as layers of space-time bent around her.

They met in the center of a collapsing galaxy, their fists creating shockwaves that snuffed out entire star clusters.

Li Yao used her power to exist in multiple time points simultaneously, attacking from angles that shouldn’t even exist.

For hours they fought, neither gaining lasting advantage.

Every wound healed, every destroyed limb regrew, every shattered bone reformed. They were two unstoppable forces trapped in eternal collision.

Finally, as Li Yao prepared another ultimate attack, Xiang Yu saw his opening.

Xiang Yu heard this roar from far away and smirked. “What a noob. Really fell for the oldest trick in the book,” he laughed. “Kid, you’re a billion years too young to play games with this old man.”

“Ho… does husband think so lowly of me?” Li Yao asked, appearing before him.

Xiang Yu’s playful expression turned serious. He really couldn’t afford to waste any time. He finally understood why he had detached himself from the main body. There was no way he could help himself through a clone.

“You’ll what?” Li Yao asked, cleaning her ear with her finger. She then looked at the Sage with a bored expression. “You’re just a cheap imitation of me. If you really love senior brother as much as you say you do, why don’t you absorb me back into yourself and see which of us survives?”

[What are you…] the Empress tried to speak some sense into Li Yao, but Li Yao just waved her off.

“I can’t stand some bitch thinking she loves my husband more than me,” she said. “So, what do you think?” she asked.

Sage Li Yao remained still.

“What is this? Afraid? Could it be that you don’t love senior brother after all? Tch, what a waste of my time,” Li Yao said, turning around.

“If someone can love the husband more than me, then I don’t deserve to live.”
