Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3814: Everything I

Chapter 3814: Everything I

The fire never stopped.

Crimson-gold fireballs poured from Noah’s outstretched hand, endless and unyielding as the sensation was utterly euphoric for him.

Others enjoyed sports. Others had hobbies for cooking or cleaning or copulating. But...man did he love spamming!

HUUM!

Like stars torn from a burning sky, they arced upward in a brilliant stream, each orb forged from condensed Living Origin Authority, each one glowing with the tyrannical weight of origin.

And the Imitation Mutated Inevitability devoured them all.

Its wriggling mass twisted in gluttonous euphoria. Wings sprouted. Veins bloated with radiant complexity. Its eyes- dozens of them- widened with need, with madness. Each moment, it grew larger, heavier, more unstable.

HUUM!

Noah hovered mid-air before the abomination, his expression tyrannical and magisterial. The torrent of fire from his hand remained constant, a beam of golden suns feeding a thing that only knew how to consume.

Below him, Sigrid stood firm, her breathing calm but heavy. Master Shen flanked her, his brow furrowed as the enormity of the scene settled in.

Then it happened.

The Inevitability screamed.

Its screech carved jagged waves into the air.

From within its undulating mass, a final, frenzied assault burst forth, with hundreds of spear-like tendrils wreathed in devouring laws and unstable resonance erupting!

The skies cracked.

Tentacles rained like blades.

Master Shen gritted his teeth as a luminous shield of emerald runes bloomed around him. His figure blurred, invoking a unique defensive art. It shimmered with ancient wisdom, roots and branches twisting into defensive rings.

Sigrid stood beside him, expression firm. Her eyes narrowed as her Archetype pulsed.

She raised both arms slowly.

"[Sanctuary of Blooming Oath]."

A crown of white-gold petals circled her head. Runes spun around her frame as a translucent domain bloomed outward- a sanctuary of celestial grace. Not only did it defend, it strengthened. A sacred aura wrapped around Shen and Noah alike, accelerating their regeneration, stabilizing their flow.

Still, it wasn’t enough.

A few tendrils punched through.

One tore across Noah’s side. Another cut shallow through Sigrid’s shoulder. Shen’s forearm bled freely.

They didn’t cry out as the damage was minimal.

One was an Originus Venerant, and the other was a ridiculous woman with even more ridiculous origins.

Both didn’t falter.

Shen coughed and shook his head, glancing sideways with shining eyes. "I still can’t begin to understand... how you’re releasing this much Origin Authority."

"..."

A question related to the spamming.

A question that Noah did not answer as he focused at what was ahead.

Sigrid lifted another Flower of Origin, petals unfurling around them once more as a healing wave of pale light swept outward. Their wounds sealed in silence. Their breaths steadied.

And then...

BZZZT.

The Inevitability pulsed.

Its body had grown grotesque- bloated beyond natural function. Its wings twitched. Its eyes flickered wildly. Complexity churned in its core with unstable rhythm.

It had eaten too much.

It didn’t stop.

Noah rose toward it, hovering at eye level with the beast.

Still he fed it!

Fireballs surged from his palm like the wrath of a celestial elemental.

His voice rang out, calm and detached. "Eat. Eat all of it."

The Inevitability screamed again, but it didn’t resist. It couldn’t.

It was bound by its own nature.

It consumed.

It swallowed.

It overfed.

Noah gazed at it coldly, his dark hair dancing like a mad tyrant as he bellowed out!

"EAT!"

HUUUM!

Endless consumption continued!

And then...

WAP!

It stopped moving.

The mass began to quiver. Its insides twisted in on themselves. Runes blinked and died. Wings spasmed without control.

The Inevitability had everything.

It had fed on endless waves of Mana turned into Living Origin Authority!

It was full.

Too full to the extent that...

BOOM!

It exploded.

Not in gore.

But in release.

The power it had stolen- the Origin Authority, the fireballs, the blessings of sacred combat- all of it came roaring out in a hellish, blinding storm.

Crimson-gold flames filled the sky.

Trillions of orbs, amplified and distorted by the Inevitability’s inner crucible, burst forth in an ever-expanding shockwave. The forested trunk of the massive Tree was seared bare. Valleys disintegrated into shining glass. The firmament split with light.

A domain a few thousands of miles wide...scorched clean.

Yet, amidst the destruction, Noah stood unburned.

The fire knew its master.

The authority bore his name.

Master Shen remained untouched within his shield of twisting Yggdrasil roots, though cracks veined its surface.

Sigrid, beneath the second bloom of her Sanctuary, shone with untouchable clarity.

Everything else burned.

The aftermath settled like ash.

Noah watched the storm fade with unblinking eyes. His lips didn’t move, but within his gaze, a truth shimmered.

This was the end of gluttony. This was the cost of endless hunger!

WAA!

The Inevitability was gone.

And only silence remained.

The aftermath still hung like mist in the air, crimson-gold embers drifting slowly across the charred span of what used to be a thriving dominion.

In the center of this ruin, where the Imitation Mutated Inevitability had erupted, a low hum began to swell.

Then...

BZZZT.

From the scorched ground, the authority-laced soil trembled.

Petals of golden light bloomed.

And then it rose.

A massive treasure chest, nearly thirty meters tall, forged from layered lattices of Living Origin Authority and shimmering bronze threads of existence. It pulsed gently, as if acknowledging the one who had made its appearance possible.

Noah descended slowly, his body still crackling faintly with the residual firelight of his origin. He approached with no fear, only a sharpened curiosity and expectations.

The chest opened.

HUMMMM!

A soft glow pulsed outwards as three objects floated free, each encased in its own halo of unique light and origin.

Their details bloomed under the light of Runes.

An orb made of translucent crystal, within which spun nine miniature wheels, each bearing distinct sigils of True Sources. Orange light poured from its surface like flowing sunfire.

[Imitated Epoch of Everything]:: A construct of imitation. Insert a True Source, and experience an entire Epoch built from its complex and pure manifestations. Ideal for rapid comprehension and elevation in Complexity and Purity Quotients.

[Breakthrough Cube of the Beginning]

Noah had seen it once before- shifting endlessly in form, from polyhedron to fluid to impossible geometries. Still as arrogant. Still whispering of breakthroughs that one did not earn.

The final object pulsed golden-bright, blinding in its presence.

It resembled the Epoch orb in structure, but it had no wheels and looked even grander.

It simply... radiated.

[Imitated Everything]:: An imitation of the origin of all things. When absorbed, allows one to experience the Everything of their own Origin- its concepts, epochs, failures, and triumphs across an unknown duration.

...!

Noah’s eyes paused on this last item.

A glint sparked in them.

’The first object allows me to experience everything about one source...’

His hand moved without hesitation.

’This... will let me experience everything of every source I bear.’

He grasped [Imitated Everything] and absorbed it calmly into his Garden.

A faint ripple of gold passed through his skin.

Without breaking stride, he tossed [Imitated Epoch of Everything] to Sigrid.

Then, the Breakthrough Cube was sent flying toward Master Shen, who caught it mid-air.

"The loot was nothing too crazy," Noah remarked flatly, turning back toward the flickering embers of the battlefield.

"...!"

Master Shen blinked.

His expression said otherwise.

But he didn’t argue.

He shook his head with a rueful smile.

"Using only half of my Resistance Archetype Points is too much of a handicap it seems..."

...!

He said so with a smile.

Then he looked over the blackened expanse- the melted hills of bark, the scorched winds, the rooted valleys now laid bare.

A domain reshaped by unrelenting fire.

Noah stood silent as new prompts appeared before his gaze.

|+175 Resistance Archetype Points Gained!|

|Sources: Imitation Mutated Inevitability and Living Origin Golems|

The numbers weren’t a surprise. But their value was significant.

’Progress.’ The thought pulsed quietly in his mind. His internal vines of the Garden shifted and lengthened, roots eager to devour the offered nutrients.

His form didn’t tremble with excitement.

But inside, he calculated the growing distance between him and those ahead.

And how close he was to eclipsing them entirely!
