Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4193: Nurturing Hunger! II

Chapter 4193: Nurturing Hunger! II

At his words, Khor continued tapping, her finger a metronome of casual destruction.

She answered with a philosophical shrug that seemed to encompass all of existence.

"That is both simple and impossibly difficult."

She paused, as if savoring the paradox.

"It is simple because... it is your existence. Your Everythings. You can do whatever you wish with what is yours, right? The same should apply for any being. But it is impossibly difficult because it is like telling a normal, manaless being that they have blood flowing through their veins, and it is theirs to command as they wish. They know the blood is there, they know it is theirs... but they cannot willfully command it to do anything. Even for an Inevitability and its Everythings... some may not succeed when they try to give parts of themselves to their Hearts. Some... may even die."

...!

The analogy was chillingly perfect. A manaless being trying to control their blood might give themselves an aneurysm.

A being of tremendous authority, trying to force a part of their fundamental nature into their Heart, might cause their very core to explode.

"So yes... simple and impossibly difficult at the same time, Outsider. Living Existences cannot do something like this, much less Fold Dwellers as the best candidate are Inevitabilities, and even they can fail and die."

Her smile turned mischievous. "But... I could probably teach you to do it in one try."

Noah looked at her expectantly.

She tapped out one last time, delivering a final, crumpled Dead Existence to Ra’Zan’s growing collection, then turned her full attention to him.

"Close your eyes, Outsider."

He did.

"Since you have begun by giving your Heart your Complexity and Purity," her voice echoed in his mind, a guide in the darkness, "it should be relatively easy for you to do this. Think of your heart as an engine... constantly pumping, constantly working. Think of trying to give it... fuel. But in this case, the fuel is a limitless energy source that is simply a part of yourself. It is limitless because it is simply yourself. Try giving your Heart something simple to start. Give it your Everything of... Size."

HUUM!

Her instructions continued, precise and paradoxical!

"Don’t try to find your Everything of Size. If you do, you will simply go in circles. It is a part of you... and also not. Don’t try to find it. Simply command it. Tell your heart to take your Everything of Size. Due to your current power... you shouldn’t spontaneously combust from the weight of your own existence."

Shouldn’t. The word was a delightful, terrifying gamble.

But Noah no longer had Fear or Doubt to make him hesitate.

He stood in the quiet of his own being, felt the raging furnace of his Heart of Tyranny, and he simply commanded.

’My Heart shall take my Everything of Size.’

...!

HUUM!

His existence buzzed. His entire being trembled, not with weakness, but with the strain of a fundamental...thing being rewritten.

He felt his heart contract and expand simultaneously, a paradoxical squeezing sensation that threatened to crush him from the inside out. And then...

BOOM!

The organ pulsed, radiating a wave of even grander, more concentrated bloody purple flames!

Rings of bloody purple rivers, like the rings of a gas giant, formed and began to spin around his heart in perfect, unending infinity symbols.

The heart itself flashed, its fiery form taking on a crystalline purple glow, a solid, incandescent gem of pure, unadulterated power!

You have exerted tremendous effort to do something both simple and impossible.

You have successfully given your Everything of Size to your Heart of Tyranny.

From now on, for you, Size is a suggestion.

Due to your uniqueness and current standing in existence, this action carried no potentially negative consequence. If such actions are conducted by others, tremendous care is required as not everyone is like you.

Seriously. Don’t let your friends try this at home. Their hearts might explode.

The moment the prompts flashed, Noah opened his eyes, and his vision had changed.

He was looking down.

Down on the massive tears that had been gaping wounds in the sky above the decimated Concordia!

His line of sight was level with the massive, winged head of the Dead Early Creature, the one that had emerged with the aura of a primordial being!

Because he had instantly grown...unfathomably vast in size!

The Winged Head of an Early Creature blinked.

It blinked its myriad eyes, its expression one of absolute, unadulterated shock. As if asking...Bro, what the fuck is this?!

He looked down at himself. His figure was unfathomably large, a titan from a forgotten age, his form wreathed in stellar, bloody auras of purple, obsidian, and white.

His body now covered what used to be half the surface area of Concordia. Even the massive, fat turtle fighting Nysteria in the distance now seemed like... well, a turtle.

This was the power he had gained by giving his Everything of Size to his Heart!

His hand, now large enough to cradle a portion of a Fold if he so chose, reached out. It moved toward the Winged Head of an Early Creature!

"You Monster!" the Dead Existence bellowed, its deathly authority flaring as it sought to negate speed and distance, to simply not be where his hand was about to be.

But Noah’s massive size did not mean he had lost his speed. His Heart pulsed with a single, simple desire: I want my hand to be grasping that Dead Existence.

And so, an instant later, it was.

His fingers, each one a mountain range of tyrannical power, wrapped around the Dead Existence’s form!

BZZT!

The creature, a being of a few hundred trillion in complexity, buzzed in his hand like a captured insect!

It felt... ticklish. It had already been weakened by the collective Haki of his Legion, its authority reduced by nearly 475 Trillion. In his grasp, it could only struggle, even if it was q body part of an Early Creature!

This... this was the power of the Heart. This was the harvest of desperation!

This was what it felt like to truly be a Tyrant.

And as he held the struggling creature in his hand, a single, cold thought echoed through his mind.

How great would it be if he had the power to just crush Early Creatures like this?

...!

Oh!
