Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4719: Depth! III

Chapter 4719: Depth! III

At this moment, his mind buzzed with glory as he cycled everything he had to utter out something that only Fundamental Depth entities could produce.

He formed a Thesis in his mind.

The process was heavy.

It demanded everything he had and more.

His Philologies began to restructure themselves, arranging into patterns that he had only just learned existed. The Phonemes of The First Tongue vibrated at frequencies that pushed against the boundaries of what his current immensity could support. His Logos blazed with blue-gold fire as they prepared to serve as the framework for something that should have been beyond his reach.

The drain on his reserves was immediate and staggering.

But THE Formless Depth held firm.

It told him that this was possible. That the normal rules didn’t apply to him. That if he wanted to speak with the voice of Fundamental Depth, then he would speak with the voice of Fundamental Depth and reality could adjust its expectations accordingly.

He opened his eyes.

Above his head, THE Grimoire of Infinite Lexicons manifested and opened its pages, each one blazing with Phonemes that had never been observed before. The book rotated slowly, its presence announcing that what came next was not mere words but linguistic law being written into existence.

He would write his Thesis in his book!

And Noah spoke.

"I propose that within Muspelheim, only those to whom I grant permission may draw power from The First Tongue."

HUUM!

The words emerged not as sound but as truth seeking validation.

"All others who attempt to access its authority shall find their connection severed, their Phonemes silenced, their foundations denied. This is my Thesis. Let reality examine it and find no flaw."

...!

It was a terrifying Thesis.

And the moment he uttered it, the response was immediate.

Around Noah, lines of Logos and Philologies vibrated with frequencies that made space itself hum in sympathy. From him, a blast of blue-gold light erupted and cascaded across Muspelheim, spreading outward at speeds that defied conventional measurement. The light touched everything, Muspeli Lifeforms and Spirit armies alike, testing and categorizing and implementing.

The demon spirit Gal’Thûrak watched this display with an expression that shifted rapidly.

"Who do you think you are to declare such a thing?!"

His voice thundered with outrage, his chains rattling as they prepared to strike.

And yet before he fully finished his words, he felt a change.

His expression became astonished.

Then shocked.

Then somber.

Then incredulous as he looked toward Noah.

Something fundamental had shifted in his connection to power. Something that had always been there, so constant that he had never noticed it, was suddenly different. Diminished. Restricted.

At the same time, prompts bloomed before Noah with comprehensive detail.

Thesis Actualization Report

Thesis: "Within Muspelheim, only those to whom I grant permission may draw power from The First Tongue."

Status: Partially Applied

Coverage: Current region of Muspelheim (approximately 0.3% of total realm)

Resource Expenditure: Approximately 67% of available immensity was utilized in initial actualization.

Achievement: You have taken a true step toward utilizing the power of someone who has laid a claim on an aspect of the Oldest Paradox of Existence. The First Tongue recognizes your authority to regulate its access within your sphere of influence. Congratulations on telling reality that you get to decide who speaks its oldest language.

Thesis Effects on Non-Permitted Targets

Core Principle: Mana is the authority behind everything. All Principles are composed of Phonemes of The First Tongue. All Ways and Civilizations, regardless of their specialized forms, ultimately draw their power from this primordial source.

By severing access to The First Tongue, you have cut non-permitted entities off from the foundation upon which all their power rests.

Specific Effects:

Mana Flow: Reduced by 100% within coverage area. Non-permitted entities cannot draw upon ambient Mana or channel it through their systems. Their reserves drain without replenishment.

Principle Function: All Principles rely on Phonemes for their operation. Without access to The First Tongue, Principles operate at approximately 45% efficiency as they struggle to function on stored reserves alone.

Way Expression: Ways are specialized forms of The First Tongue. Non-permitted entities find their Way partially muted, operating at roughly 50% of normal output.

Authority Regeneration: Without access to The First Tongue’s ambient power, authority regeneration drops by approximately 65%. Non-permitted entities are burning fuel they cannot replace.

Civilization Functions: Civilizations draw power from Mana to fuel their operations. Any Civilization features within coverage area cease drawing new power and begin depleting reserves.

Cumulative Effect: Non-permitted entities operating at approximately 45-55% of their normal capability, with this percentage decreasing over time as reserves drain without replenishment.

Note: Gal’Thûrak appears to have just realized his chains no longer rattle with the same enthusiasm.

Thesis Challenge Window

As per the ancient expression of Thesis, other entities may challenge this proposition through dialectic debate. If successfully challenged, the Thesis collapses entirely.

Current Challenge Status: No challenges registered. The spirit seems too busy being shocked to form a coherent philosophical argument.

If Thesis Remains Unchallenged: Gradual solidification into local truth. After sufficient time without successful challenge, the Thesis will become permanent law within its coverage area, no longer requiring your immensity to maintain.

Strategic Assessment

The Spirit before you has just lost roughly half his effective power and is slowly losing more.

He knows it.

He knows you did it.

He does not know how, whether you can do it again, or how long it will last.

...!

As Noah read the prompts explaining his Thesis, he felt the drain on his immensity. It was substantial, yes. The cost of proposing such an audacious truth into existence was not small.

But he also felt that drain rapidly being refilled.

The Arche of Perpetual Harvest continued its work, converting the ambient First Tongue energy in the region into harvestable essence. The very language he had just claimed authority over was now feeding his recovery. The more his enemies relied on The First Tongue, the more they powered his restoration.

He looked toward THE Fundamental Depth Spirit before him.

Gal’Thûrak’s seven eyes were wide with an emotion that looked remarkably like fear. His chains hung limply at his sides, no longer rattling with eager violence. The weight that had pressed down upon Noah moments ago had diminished to something almost ignorable.

Noah smiled calmly.

"You asked who I am?"

His voice carried across the burning skies of Muspelheim, reaching not just Gal’Thûrak but THE Living Spirit far behind and his armies and the giants of the Muspeli Lifeforms who watched from their positions.

"Allow me to introduce myself."

He floated forward slightly, his robes of crystallized starlight shifting around him like the mantle of a king.

"I am someone who can question whether your existence should even be before me."

The words were casual. Almost lazy. As if he were discussing the weather rather than the fundamental nature of reality.

"Now, since you have brought yourself to me, I will leave your existence intact if you present your Civilization to me and kneel in apology."

He paused, letting the offer hang in the air.

"Otherwise..."

His eyes met Gal’Thûrak’s seven with perfect calm.

"Your Depth, regardless of where it is at, will face collapse today."

...!

He said these words calmly and casually, as if making such a threat to a Fundamental Depth entity was the most natural thing in existence. As if he did this every day. As if the being before him was not THE Terror of Chains but merely an inconvenience that had placed itself in his path!

Gal’Thûrak stared at him in astonishment.

THE Living Spirit, far behind in the citadel, shifted its massive presence in a way that suggested sudden and intense interest, and then a frown as the effect of the Thesis exerted itself here!

The One Who Laid The Claim had not merely arrived.

He had announced his authority in a way that none of them could deny!
